Next morning, Isabella was up and prepared breakfast before Tina came out of her room. She sat down on the dining table and smiled at her friend. Isabella looked lively and happy. She's back with Kunle and that calls for celebration. Anyways she's happy for her, falling in love is definitely something someone should crave for. " Tina,"Isabella called, putting her cutleries down and placing her palm under her lower jaw, she stared at her friend with a smile. "Emm..mm"Tina grunted, pausing in her meal and glanced at Isabella. She saw her smiling at her and it seemed contagious and she smiled too. "Thank you" Isabella chimed. "For what?" Tina asked, surprised at what she was thanking her for. "For helping Kunle and I get back together. You have no idea how much I want to get back with him but my ego wouldn't let me take the first step. But you made it happen and we are together, back to being who we used to be. Thank you, this wouldn't have been without you" Isabella was sincere. Her eyes welled up in tears as she smiled, feeling happy that her paths and Tina's crossed. "Shhhhh.. what are you saying Isabella? If someone hear you talking now,it would be as if I am a matchmaker. Anyways, you are welcome" Tina chimed. Isabella sniffled,she was happy and excited. What she and Kunle couldn't bring each other to do, within the short period of time they had spent with Tina, she made it happen. She wished she found love as she truly deserved. She wished that one day Jordan realised the mistake he's made and came running back to her. " The food is going to get cold. Come back from your fantasies" Tina chimed, bringing her back from her thoughts. " Sure...yeah" Isabella responded, resuming back to picking her cutleries and digging back to her breakfast. She needs to eat before it gets cold. When they finished their breakfast, Tina announced that she was moving out that morning from Isabella's place to an apartment she just bought. Isabella was dazed. Moved out, when did she buy the house? Why suddenly? She really thought she was going to stay for a couple of weeks or even remain Mansion mates. Isabella asked why? She didn't ask her to leave. She thought they were going to live together for a couple of months before she would think of getting a new place for herself. Tina smiled and said, she appreciates her care and love when she opened her doors for her to come in. But she's bought a place and would be moving in. Isabella had no option than to say ok. She would be accompanying her to her place. That Morning, Jordan was awakened by the ringing coming from his phone. He opened his eyes groggily. His head was pounding in ache and his eyes were heavy. He hadn't slept properly for two hours when he was woken up. He stretched his hand on the bedside stand and took the phone. He answered the phone. His attention was needed in the office to approve of Collins Bruno's release. He said ok, he won't be coming but would send detective Kunle. When the call ended, he called Kunle and assigned him to the task. The latter said ok and would head to the office right away. When he placed his phone back on the bedside stand, his mind drifted off to Tina again. Why waking up with the thoughts of her again? The last thoughts on his bed before sleeping off was her and waking up again, it's her. Hasn't he crossed the Rubicon when he insulted her? He must find her and apologise to her. He can't endure the restlessness anymore. He hadn't experience the kind of self torture he was feeling at the time. He tried calling her again but like the previous night, his cell phone number had been blacklisted. He remembered that she was putting up with Isabella, he would call her and ask to speak with Tina, at least that way she wouldn't refuse talking to him. He called and Isabella answered her phone. They exchanged pleasantries before Jordan asked to speak with Tina. The latter asked why he didn't call her directly and he said he guessed she blacklisted him. Isabella was surprised. Blacklisted Jordan? Has it come to that? That she doesn't want to talk with him? What if it's official, she would make it difficult for him to reach her. She asked him to give her a few seconds, she covered the mouthpiece and told Tina that Jordan wants to talk with her. "I am not interested in talking to him" Tina flippantly answered and got her luggages out, she was going to move into her new home. After which she will go to the force headquarters and retrieve her car and meet with Greg at lunch time. She doesn't have time for unnecessary things like talking to Jordan. Isabella returned to inform Jordan what Tina said. Jordan said ok and hung up. That's it, she really doesn't want to talk to him. He went to the bathroom and relieved himself. He returned back to the bed, if perhaps he would be able to return back to sleep. But he couldn't go back to sleep. He was muddleheaded with the thoughts of Tina. He must get out of bed and get busy. That way he wouldn't have to think about her. An hour later, Collins Bruno walked out of the force headquarters. He had learnt a lesson that he would never forget in a hurry. Threatening someone would never be his thing. If he hadn't threatened Kitty perhaps he wouldn't have remained in the police custody for so long. He was grateful to God for that female detective. She saved him and gave him a second chance to live. He would utilise his days for the rest of his life. Just like that, his girlfriend was no more. She was killed gruesomely by her stepfather. He wished that he rot in jail and his bones never get a burying place. He knew her father didn't like him. He takes it out on him whenever he sees him with his daughter. He had thought he was being protective of his daughter but now everything now makes some sense. Jealousy led him to kill his step daughter and made him lose his girlfriend. Now he would never get away with it. No wonder she asked him if he would forgive her if he discovered she did something terrible? As he walked out, and was checking his pocket to be sure his wallet was still there, he needed to board a taxi to his home, get a few things and travel home to see his poor mother.
