10- Yryhnna vision part 2

It had been thoughtful of Daniel to call his sister to see how she was doing, but Seila couldn’t return her sister's call and tell her they were safe since the mobile phone had run out of battery and they were on an island in the middle of the sea. Seila needed to get the strange flirtation she had had with him out of her head. If Daniel found out anything about Isis, her sister didn’t know if she would keep the secret or let it slip to her pack of wolves, or worse... to the Sirens. But she wouldn’t speak to him for any other reason. The priority was whatever was happening to her sisters. Seila had to solve that before thinking about anything else. Seila had slept in the clothes she was wearing the night before, and they emitted an unbearable smell of ocean and sweat. She shook out a change of clothes that she always kept in her mermaid bag and silently crossed over to the palm trees, being careful not to be seen, as the body of a mermaid was so beautiful and perfect that any man would be enchanted at once after seeing a naked mermaid. She made sure Daniel wasn’t coming and changed her dress from the night before for another one that was equally damp but fresh and without the scent of siren-hunters’ blood.

Seila couldn’t say much about the disappearance of Isis; if they started talking about ancient history and how she had left the temple hundreds of centuries ago, before Christ, but she knew that Daniel, like everyone who knew the story, would want to keep discussing it over and over until it made sense. She watched as Daniel quickly bathed, barely aware that Seila was watching him, in a lagoon inland on the island, and then he got dressed.

Yryhnna tried to send a telepathic message to Seila but it was impossible; her sister hadn’t touched the sea, that thought would be unsettling since a mermaid can’t last long without swimming or she begins to dehydrate, but remembering Daniel's voice note calmed her down.
- Where is the place that Daniel indicates on the phone?
- It's an island, it's the place we are heading to, - Mathias assured.

Yryhnna sent a telepathic message to her father and her husband Alan. First, her mind traveled to the castle where her sister Seila and Mia lived. For some reason, seeing the dark room in her mind broke her heart. As she stopped at the entrance, she couldn’t help but wonder if her sister would ever be back in it. Yryhnna swallowed the lump in her throat and shook her head, trying to shake off that thought, and attempted to seek out her father to send him a telepathic message. Of course, Mia would be back there; she was a direct descendant of Isis, she had the protection of the mermaid kingdom, the gods, and the angelic realm.
Yryhnna wouldn’t stop searching until she returned home. When Yryhnna returned to her room, she nearly gasped in surprise. Theodor was sitting on her bed, staring at the floor with a desolate look.
- Father? - Yryhnna managed to say once her heart stopped racing. - What are you doing here? - She walked into the room. - Oh, excuse me. - He lifted his head and motioned toward the stairs. - Your father is lonely and desolate; I couldn’t help but come in. Remembering that once my three little ones lived here and were safe. I’ve come to talk to you. She looked outside, almost convinced that Alan must be waiting for Yryhnna to do an astral projection and was listening from the hallway, and she closed the door.
- But how are You? My beloved dad?

-- Suudenly Yryhnna open her eyes. Her beautiful and black eyes were wide open, staring the guys... the werewolves in front of her.
