Sorry - says Yryhhnna.... - I just had to...Swimming Through Emotions

Samatha knew that to teach future generations of mermaids to succeed as priestesses of the sacred water, she had to teach them to master fear, as fear is contagious; love, courage, and peace are also contagious.

Mermaids must choose the right feelings and emotions to create states of peace and appropriate mental states in people. Exercise and body arts, from yoga, sacred dances to the contemporary dances of modernity and the elite that you call "ballet," are dances and body arts that teach us to preserve that state of peace and harmony and to strengthen and prolong the feelings and emotions of peace and love.

As mermaids, we must focus on feelings of light. Depending on how you care for your bodies, you will have certain feelings; when you take care of your body and your nutrition, you begin to feel better. Mermaids avoid negative thoughts and shift them towards thoughts of love to prevent feelings of restlessness and worry; we focus our mind and heart on feelings of love and peace.

Mermaids take care of our bodies because we know that by caring for our bodies, we will feel better. In moments of doubt or unease, we must affirm that everything will be okay, and we will feel better. It is natural for humans to experience a wide range of emotions. Samatha reacted to frustration and despair, coming to know them for the first time when she lost her father, King Triton.

King Triton, Samatha's father, died in a war against the deadly Syren enemies of the mermaids. In accordance with his desire to protect the waters of Isis, he gained freedom by liberating the waters of Isis and the waters of Greece from the Syren. Since then, the Syren have dedicated themselves to attempting to undermine the legacy of the mermaids and the conquest of freedom that King Triton granted us, which meant that mermaids could do things right, being priestesses of Isis, without the risk or threat of the Syren attacking our kingdom.

However, while the wisdom of Samatha was the inheritance for the mermaids, King Triton, through his sacrifice, bequeathed us compassion. Thus, compassion and wisdom are sacred elements for the mermaids and shape our feelings. After King Triton's death, Samatha rang the bell throughout the ocean; the sound of the bell spread across the sea, embracing all living beings in the water, letting them know that King Triton had departed. The fish, birds, hawks, all marine species, otters, crocodiles, whales, dolphins, manatees, toucans, and hundreds of marvelous birds around the world sang of King Triton's passing; all the waters, sweet and salty, even the shadiest, shared in the song, the lament, and the sound of the bell. In this way, the bell became the symbol of the mermaids, for it vibrated through their waters worldwide with the sound of magic and the messages shared.

On the other hand, King Triton was buried with the sacred sistrum of Isis, behind the Aswan temple in Egypt. This sistrum was a gift conferred by Vipasana. The sistrum of Isis represented compassion, a feeling inherited by humanity, and also by the mermaids. However, it was our queen Samatha who taught us about the true use of compassion, as she, suffering the loss of her father, generated great empathy in the temple of Isis. The priests offered her empathy, love, and the most logical and consoling words to our mermaid queen. Meanwhile, those humans who sought the mermaids in the temple for healing looked at Samatha with compassion, wishing her well. Eventually, they knew that Samatha would overcome her grief and conquer the waters in the name of Love and Peace, the feelings of light that govern the mermaids.

Samatha took refuge on the coast of Nice and spent long decades singing to the moon. She wished to sing to the moon to transform the sadness in her heart into joy; as queen, she knew she had to recover to be able to heal others. From her own experience, she understood the importance of feeling happy.

For the love of others and the importance of self-love, through her song, she aimed to convey a message of joy, illusion, and hope; she knew that darkness or sadness from all the harm done by the Syren could not be combated by fighting against them.
