Jacinta's Pov

A minute ago I was chatting with miss Julie, trying to explain things to her and then Samson come in.

He looked worried and said that they are around.

I didn't understand what they meant but they were moving out.

I wanted to follow when this man came out of nowhere and hit miss Julie down.

I screamed but he put a knife on my neck and forced me out.

I am now at the elevator's door with other four men.

Samson and Damian come running for my rescue but this man presses the knife closer to my throat and I feel it gently touching my skin.

"Come and get your girl if you can!"Says the man with the knife on my throat.

"Let her go you bastard!" Yells Damian.

What scares me most is not the knife on my throat, but the elevator beside me.

Who are these people anyway?

One of the men presses the elevator button and it opens up.

"Don't...dont...not there please!" I stammer in tears already but who am I telling? These men!

The rest of the four men move to attack Damian and Samson while the other one pushes me with him into the elevator.

"Noo!" I scream as the elevator locks up and starts to move down immediately the man presses 1 on the buttons on the wall.

Damian's Pov

Shit! They took her!

I don't know why people mistake her to be my girl but I won't allow them to take her.

"I'll handle them boss, go get her" says Samson as the four men approach us with knives in their hands.

"Be careful Samson" I tell him and make a move but the men surround both of us.

I kick the hand of the man infront of me and grab his knife.

He looks dazed and this is an opportunity which I don't lose.

I kick his chin and he lands heavily on the floor, giving me way through as Samson is dealing with the three.

I quickly rush and take the stairs down to the parking lot.

The man is driving off but there is no sign of Jacinta with him.

Did she faint again?

Could she be in his car trunk?

I don't think twice and rush to my car.

I drive off and follow the bastard. His car is way forward than mine.

I don't like it when one gets in trouble because of me.

Shit! I've lost him.

I don't know where he went to.

I'm stranded and just then Samson calls me.

"Boss, I found miss Jacinta unconscious in the elevator" he says.

"What about those bastards?" I ask angrily

"They ran off after a few blows boss" he says and it angers me that they are still around.

I don't know who keeps sending them.

"I'll be there in a jiffy" I say and take a u-turn back to the mall.

I find Samson carrying Jacinta in his arms and she is unconscious.

"Give her to me and drive us to the hospital" I command him and he hands her to me.

He opens the car for us and drives off as we are settled.

"Be fast Sam!" I say and he drives off in a high speed.

I don't know why since I met her, I always have to spend my cash on her.

My side mirror, the doctor yesterday and today again!

I will ask the doctor to check my BP.

I think I might not survive another day with her.

I will go bankrupt!

"Meet me at the Merkian hospital" I say when I call Dominic.

Yeah, we own a hospital made by my mom.

We are at the hospital and the doctor is checking on her.

Dominic comes in running and halts infront of me.

"The same guys again?" He asks

"Yeah. I don't know who keeps sending them. It would be better if it were just me, but now they think Jacinta is my girl and they attacked her" I say and rub my hair furiously.

"What? Do you know that they will keep coming again and again?" Asks Dominic

"Yes I'm sure they will come again but I'm worried that they will attack Jacinta again. I don't know why they think that she is my girl" I say and knock the wall furiously.

"Relax bro but I think you should involve the police" says Dominic

"How will the police help? Add more bodyguards for my safety? I will handle those bastards myself. I'm not a coward" I say and Dominic shrugs.

"So what will you do about the poor girl? I'm sure they will target her to get to you" he Says and he does have a point.

"I don't know as now. I'll think of something" I say and the doctor comes out.

"How is she?" I ask

"She is out of danger but if this keeps happening to her, it might cause a brain damage and she might lose her memory. If she fears the elevator as you say, don't let her use it" explains the doctor.

What could have happened to her, for her to fear the elevator so much?

"Okay doctor, I understand" I say

"Get these drugs for her and let her take them on time as prescribed" says the doctor giving me a list of drugs and I give it to Samson who leaves to get them.

I get into the ward with a Dominic, to check on Jacinta.

Stella's Pov

I'm at Damian's office but he is nowhere to be found.

I call his line severally but no one picks.

Jacinta is also not here.

I ask his secretary but she knows nothing about their whereabouts.

I'm so mad at him right now and I decide to go back home.

Jacinta's Pov

I'm just waking up from sleep and I find myself in a hospital bed.

I actually don't remember how I got here but I do remember the bad guys.

Oh my God! Damian.

"Damian!" I call out as I quickly get out of bed only to find him there sitted beside my bed.

"Hey relax I'm here" he says

"Did anything happen to you? What about Samson? And the bad guys? How did I get here? What happened?" I ask without a pause.

"Relax Jacinta. No one is hurt except you and the bad guys ran away" he says and I touch my neck to see whether I have no wound.

Yes I have no wound.

"Are you hurt?" He asks

"No, I'm fine" I say and my eyes are just fixed on him.

I don't know I'm so worried about him.

"Just lay down first" he says and puts me back to bed but I can't stop looking at him.

"You dint get hurt?" I ask

"No. I'm fine but I don't know why you keep fainting in the elevator" he says

"I...just...have bad memories when I get in there and I don't want to talk about it" I say and he sighs as I close my eyes for a while.

"Jacinta, I think you have to move in with me" he says

What? Did I just hear him correctly?
