Damian's Pov

Jacie and I are back from swimming it was great swimming with her.

I loved the way she was so free around me.

Should I ask her to be my girlfriend?

Each time she is close to me, I just want to kiss her.

But I can't find myself to do it since I don't know what's between us.

I want to make it official.

We are both taking our supper as we are watching the news on the television in our room.

"Jacie" I call out softly.

"Yes" she says and draws her attention to me.

"Do you think I can be a good boyfriend?" I ask and I don't think it's a good line to start with but i'll just move on with it.

"Good boyfriend to who? Stella?" She asks

What is she thinking?

"Stella and I are just for business and I will clarify things with time. I'm taking about you" I say and she chokes on her food.

I give her a glass of water and let her cool down.

"What do you mean?" She asks and I can clearly see her blushing.

"What I mean is, Jacie, will you be my girlfriend? I know you might think that I'm too fast with this but I've waited for long for you. I thought we were never meant to be but I found you again. Since I found you, I don't want to be late again. Please be mine. I will give you all the happiness you deserve. Will you be mine? Forever and for always?" I ask raising my hand towards since she is sitting next to me.

She Is blushing alot and she can't stop smiling but I wonder why she still hasn't given her hand to me.

"Mian I..." She starts and then stops.

"Just say yes and give me your hand. You don't need to say anything else" i insist and yes! Her hand is in my hand.

"Yes Mian. I will be your girlfriend" she says smiling and I can't hesitate to hug her.

I hug her so tight in my arms and I feel her warm breath on my neck.

You can imagine the joy in me right now.

Finally, JCD is now my girlfriend.

I love her so much!

Having her around is just the best thing.

I can't think of anything else right now.

Suddenly Jacie pushes me off the hug.

"Mian! The news!" She say and I turn towards the television that is slightly behind me.

"Mr Merkian Davies the owner of the Merkian group of companies is in pain and grief as his wife, Selina Merkian, is in the hospital bed fighting for her life after being shot at their mansion. She is said to have lost alot of blood and she urgently needs blood tranfusion. Her blood group the rare type and they are still in search of it. She just has 26hrs to get the blood. About the bullet found in her body,No one one knows who did the firing and why it was done since Mr Merkian had refused to say anything. He is all alone right now with no one to comfort him. His only son, Damian Merkian is said to be out of the country on a vacation with his girlfriend whose identity is unknown to us yet. The police are still waiting for Mr Merkian's statement before they can investigate about the matter. That's all for now....." That's the reporter on television.

"What? My mom? How did all this happen?" I ask to no one in particular as I quickly head to look for my phone.

I quickly turn it on and see that dad tried to call me twenty times.

Stella too.

Dominic too.

I try to call up my dad but his phone is now switched off too.

What do I do?

"Mian we have to go back!" Says Jacie looking worried.

"Yes Jacie we have to go back. We are going back tonight! I don't care how but we have to go back to Rio now" i say as Jacie is already packing up.

I pick my bag and pack up too.

I make a call to Titus and ask him to pick us up immediately.

I also call the airport and book for a private plane to Rio.

"Jacie I'm sorry we have to cancel this vacation" I say as we head out.

"Are you crazy? Family comes first Mian. So I don't worry about this vacation being cancelled. My blood group is O. If we get there in time, I will surely donate blood for her to get better" says Jacie and I hug her tight before heading out to the parking lot.

Titus arrives in no time and is surprised to see us with our luggage.

"Take us to the airport now" I say as we get in.

"But the vacation...." He starts but I cut him off.

"This is a matter of life and death. Rush to the airport now!" I yell angrily and he starts off the car.

According to time, I expect to arrive there at 1pm in the afternoon the next day.

Titus drives off like a mad man in the racing track on our way to the airport but I don't care.

We are there in no time and rush in after giving a bunch of money to Titus.

"All the best!" He shouts as we rush in.

Jacinta's Pov

Mian and I arrive at Rio dejanoire at 1pm in the afternoon and we run out of the airport like mad people.

Mian had texted Samson to pick us up and we find him outside waiting as soon as we step out with our luggage.

"How is my mom?" Asks Mian to Samson in the car.

"Some people have donated blood to her including miss Saira and I think she is out of danger now. Your dad's blood pressure shot up but he should be okay now" says Samson as he drives down the road quickly.

"Aunt Saira donated blood?" I ask in so much shock since I know how aunt Saira is so very scared of injections.
