Stella's Pov

"Bloody fools! How can you get defeated by just one man! You mean he beat you like this" I yell at my stupid men who have just come limping and their is blood all over their bodies.

The other one has fainted on the doorstep and his hand seems to have been shot.

I hate failure!

"What do I do with failures like you?" I ask with my hands folded.

"Just let them go and relax" says the voice of my brother Fella and I turn to see him smiling as he pockets his trousers.

"What do you mean let them go and relax?" I ask

"You can go boys" he commands moves closer to me.

"But brother I...." I start but he stops me and pulls me inside to a corner.

"I think it's time I tell you the deal and how dad and I are always successful. But you should know one thing Stella, learn to be patient, control your anger and keep your enemies closer" he says and keeps smiling.

He sounds so reasonable with a brilliant mind. No wonder dad keeps secrets with him.

I will do exactly as he tells me.

Damian's Pov


Jacinta, Jessie, Sam and I have arrived back at the hospital and the reporters are coming back towards us.

We don't even want to hear anything as we take Jessie for a quick check up.

We push through the reporters and get in the hospital.

I know it's work but can't they just leave us alone?

Samson heads to see the doctor with Jessie as i take Jacie to meet my father.

"Thank you alot Damian" says miss Saira as she follows Samson.

"You nervous?" I ask Jacie as we stand next to the ward's door.

"Yeah abit" she says

"Breath in and out" I say and she does just that.

"You ready?" I ask and she nods in agreement.

I open the door and dad turns to see us at the door.

"Come in" he says and we move closer.

I lock the door and look at Jessie who is feeling so nervous.

"Have a seat" says my dad and I give Jacie the chair.

"You can leave us Damian" says dad

"But dad I..." I start but dad gives me the go away look.

"Okay" I say and start to move out but Jacie holds my hand.

"I'm scared" she says and almost cries.

I really want to laugh at her right now.

"Do I look like I can eat you?" Asks my dad as i hug Jacie who is sitting on the chair next to dad.

"Mian don't go" she says and holds me tight.

"Heeey, my dad doesn't bite" I say and try to pull off her head from my stomach but she doesn't want to let go.

My dad and I are laughing at her right now.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

This is just so funny.

"Shhhhhh you'll wake your mother" says my dad and gives his last laugh.

Jacie is looking at us in surprise.

"You remind me alot of Clegg when we first went to his in laws house to seek your mother's hand in marriage. He was sweating all over. The funny thing is that, it was winter" says dad and laughs once again.

"Grandpa asked him to take off his coat if it was so hot for him but he began shaking in cold again" adds up Jacie and we all laugh.

"He told you about that?" Asks dad

"No. Dad was too embarrassed about it so mum told me about it" replies Jacie and now her fear is gone.

"Did she mention more about me?" Asks Dad

"Well, I don't know if the half brother he mentioned was you. But if you are the one, then yes. Infact dad talked about the mischievous things you used to do back in your childhood days" says Jacie

"Yes it's him. What did they use to do?" I ask coz dad has never told me about them.

I really want to know what they used to do.

"They used to chew small papers in their mouths, then use a pen's tube to throw one by one of the papers towards girls they had a crush on and on the female teachers. They were never caught" says Jacie and we are all laughing.

"Dad you did that?" I ask and laugh some more.

"Aaah it was childish. Don't tell him more" says dad in a smile.

I'm glad he is getting along with Jacie.

I'm also happy that I can see him smile, not like when I got in here first.

"Come on dad I want to know" I say but he asks Jacie not to tell me.

"By the way, What took you so long to get here?" Asks Dad

"Stella had kidnapped Jacie's sister and we had to rescue her first" I say

"What? Stella?" Asks Dad looking shocked.

"Yes Stella. I told you the Cartneys are bad" i say

"You said Jacinta's sister. You mean she also survived?" Asks Dad

"She was to survive all along. I would have died but thanks to Randolf, my father's agent" says Jacie.

"You mean he also survived?" Asks Dad

"Yes he did. I just met him today" replies Jacie

"That's good. The Cartneys have played with us so well but now it's our turn. We will also play along with them. No one should know that Jacinta is Clegg's daughter. This should be between us. Let's play along to their game but we shouldn't be the scape goat. They will be" says dad

"Okay dad but you still haven't told me about the person who attacked you and mom. We should be wary of that too" I say

"Yes uncle. Is it the same people that always attack Damian and now they are after me too?" Asks Jacie and I just dint want my dad to know about that.

"Some people always attack Damian?" Asks my father with alot of shock in his voice.
