MY BOSS AND I
*He is cold but I'm humorous*

Jacinta's Pov

"Jacinta, I think you have to move in with me" he says

What? Did I just hear him correctly?

"H...h...how Do you mean by moving in with me?" I ask and I'm so shocked by his words.

There is no way I'm going to leave with this arrogant man.

I have my own home and I don't want to be his girlfriend.

"I want you to pack your bags and start living in my house" he says and he looks confused.

"What? Look, I might be your personal assistant but I'm not your toy okay! You can't just ask me to go away from home and you want me to follow you just because you are my boss" I say as I kneel on the bed and fold my hands.

"Look it's not what you think okay! It's not like I want to move in with you but I have no other choice!" He says angrily and stands up.

"Then why do you want to move in with me? I'm not like those girls in movies who pretend to be someone's girlfriend. I won't do it!" I say firmly and look the other side.

It's just the two of us in the room.

"Look, I never wanted you to get into trouble because of me today. Those men have been after me since I became CEO of my father's company. I don't know who they are and what they want but they are very dangerous" he explains

"What does that have to do with me,living in your house?" I ask angrily sitting well on the bed.

"They now think that you are my girlfriend, since I booked the mall for you. I've never gone to such places with a girl. They will now keep following you too. They are going to use you, to get what they want from me!" He explains but it doesn't get into my head at all.

"Very funny Boss! They are your enemies so why should they follow me? I'm not your girlfriend anyway!" I say and roll my eyes.

"I never said you are my girlfriend! Neither do i want to make you my girlfriend. Not my type!" He says and looks away

Not my type my foot! No matter what he says, I know I'm beautiful.

Ugly duckling!

"You are neither my type! You are so ugly! And I'm not coming to live with you! I can protect myself" I say proudly and lay my back on the bed.

"Suit yourself silly girl" he says and leaves the room.

Who are you calling silly girl you silly boy!

How dare he?

Damian's Pov

What a nuisance!

How can she be so stupid?

I wonder why Dominic left to meet his girl and left me here all alone!

He could have put sense into her silly head.

I sent Samson to get the drugs a while ago but he is still not back.

If she gets into trouble, I won't be taken responsible coz I've warned her already.

She is just so stubborn!

I sit on the waiting bay until Samson comes in with the drugs.

"Here they are boss" he says as he gives me the drugs.

"Get her from the ward. We are heading to my office to finish some work" I say and head to the car as Samson goes in.

I reach my car and my find my phone which is almost dead.

40 missed calls? What? From...STELLA!

This girl is such a pain in the ass.

60 messages? Is she trying to write a novel on my inbox?

I'm sure she has nothing much to say.

Before she calls my dad, let me call her and check what she has to say.

Jacinta's Pov

I'm on the bed feeling so bad about myself.

I can't control myself when it comes to elevators.

Someone opens the door and I just think it's the arrogant boss.

"I said I'm not coming with you!" I yell but it's Samson.

"It's just me dude" he says as he steps in.

"Did he send you to me?" I ask

"Yes! We need to head back to the office to finish some work" he says and I roll my eyes before getting out of bed.

"You know, i think you should listen to him in such matters" he says but I ignore him.

We both walk out silently and I sit at the back of the car with my arrogant boss who has just hang up a call.

He does seem to happy with the call and I guess it's Stella.

The drive is silent as we are heading to the office.

We are both facing different directions.

My first day at work was like this, What about the rest of the 2 years and a half?

That's my contract anyway, 2 years and a half.

I will die before a month ends.

We have arrived at the company and everyone heads on with his way.

He uses the elevator and I use the stairs while Samson stays outside with the other bodyguards that were left behind.

He arrives first and I arrive later with my legs wobbling due to tiredness.

I will surely grow thinner in a few days.

This is more than a slim possible challenge.

Few hours pass and we ain't talking to each other.

Other staff come in and go away as I sit there arranging his schedule.

I've even received calls for appointments and I have written everything down.

He gives a dry cough and I get up to fetch some water from the dispenser in the office.

It's a huge office by the way and my working place is at the Sofa.

I've not realised how time has been flying and it's now 7pm.

I have to get home and help Jessie with her homework.

I also have to wash her uniform and my clothes too.

"Boss, I have to go now. It's already late" I say and he looks up at me.

"Okay, you can leave" he says and I pack my little things and get out of the office.

The other staff have already left.

Is he going to stay alone in this building?

Does he even have some time for vacation from work?

That's why he looks so dull and arrogant.

She should have some fun too. He is still young.

I'm already out and I bid farewell to Samson outside.

"Be careful miss Jacinta" he says

"I will Samson" i say and I head down the road.

As I keep walking, I feel like someone is following me.

I turn around but I see no one.

I walk again and I feel someone following me.

Now I'm getting scared.

"Who is there? Show yourself?" I say but no one is coming out.

What do I do?

Damian's Pov

Everyone has left and I'm the only one in the office.

Even the silly girl has left.

I don't know why I feel worried about her going home alone.

I close up all my files and head down just to find that she has already left.

"Let's head out to Titanic restaurant" I tell Samson since I'm so hungry and I bet he is hungry too.

As I'm about to get into the car, someone calls my name.

"Damian, Damian wait!" Says the voice and I turn to see Jacinta running towards us with her footwear in her hands.

"What happened?" I ask

"Please drive me home. I'm so scared! Someone is following me" she says and the look in her eyes says she ain't joking.

I already told her but she dint want to come with me.
