MY BOSS AND I
*He is cold but I'm humorous*
Fella's Pov

It's finally morning and I'm outside reading the latest Magazine.

Dad is giving orders to some of our men and they are leaving.

Just then, one of the guards of our secret room comes with panic written all over his face.

His face is swollen as if he has been hit and there is blood on his lips.

"Boss....bosss" he calls out panting.

"What happened? Why are you like that?" I ask him as my dad moves closer.

"The man we had captured in the secret room hit and escaped" he says and I give him a very tight slap on his face.

How dare he give me such bad news on a morning like this.

"You mean you let him escape?" Asks dad with anger in his eyes.

"Sorry boss, he was too strong on us" he says and I can't take it anymore.

"Finish him" says dad and that's just what I wanted.

I pull out my gun and shoot direct on his forehead and he falls down dead.

"Lets go" says dad and we are now heading in to check the situation inside.

Mr Merkian's Pov

The men have brought my wife down but her wound is bleeding.

They have tied her up again on a chair.

I think she will need blood donation again.

Where will we get more blood?

It was hard to get the first one already.

Bianca and her son James are now coming in.

I'm tired of crying now.

Let them do as they wish.

They can kill me if they wish but they should leave my family alone.

I will give them the company but they should leave my wife, son and daughter in law alone!

"Untie my father" says James

"I'm not your father you imbecile!" I say angrily but they laugh at me.

I'm sure Jacie is listening to all this wherever she is.

One of the men comes and unites me.

I don't have a single strength in me.

I've not eaten ever since they shot my wife.

I've been tied up all night and my legs and hands hurt alot.

Bianca throws a pair of new suit towards me and they ask me to put it on.

James shows me the inheritance papers I had given to Damian and says I have to sign my part.

I know Damian was helpless, that's why he gave them the papers.

He did the right thing.

If I was in his shoes, I would do the same.

Family comes first in everything.

For a second time, I'm losing my company to the same people.

People can be wicked!

This life, no balance!

I've signed the documents and also put on the suit.

Now they are recording me to give out a statement on my withdrawal of the company rights.

Damian's Pov

I'm at the Rio centre right now and I just don't know what I'm feeling.

The city television pops out the breaking news and it's dad on tv.

He is dressed in a new suit and is giving his statement.

He is all smiles but I know that they are forcing it on him.

Tears are filling my eyes as I watch him speak.

"First of all, I'm sorry for whatever I'm going to say. I hid this from the world but I think the truth is best. Damian Merkian, the so called heir of Merkian group of companies is not my real son. I just adopted him to take up for my son's time when he was away but now my son is back and I hereby....i hereby announce him as the heir of Merkian group of companies! His name Is James Merkian!" Dad says that and he brings James infront of him and hugs him.

For the first time I see James and his face is full of Smiles.

I just can't control my tears.

I turn away from the television and just then, a car drives next to me.

Aunt Saira and Samson come out without Jessie.

"Boss, are you okay?" Asks Samson as I wipe my tears.

"Where is Jessie? You should be with her right now" I say

"She is at my hide out with one of our men" he says

"Damian, where is Jacie?" Asks aunt Saira

"I'm sorry aunt. I'm so sorry I couldn't keep her safe. They abducted her along with my family. I just don't know what to do. I'm so confused right now" I say and I keep rubbing my hands in my hair.

I'm so fucking messed up right now.

Stella' s Pov

I've just watched the news and this is just shocking.

I hear dad and fella talking angrily outside and I just don't know what is happening.

"Daddy, did you watch the news? Damian is not the real son of Mr Merkian!" I say

"What?" Asks dad and fella both in shock.

"Look, it's trending on social media. Mr Merkian has introduced his new son and he is the new heir of the company" I say as I show them the news on my phone.

"Wha... how? What is happening?" Asks dad looking so confused.

"What are we going to do now? I wonder how Damian is doing" I say

I really pity him right now.

I wonder how he is feeling right now.

But he is with that Jacie!

"Look, contact Reinford right now! We need to get the laptop and Jacie right now! We might just lose everything we have worked hard for" says dad and fella goes out to make a phone call.

Damian's Pov

I receive a call from James and I bet it's about releasing my parents and Jacie.

"Look on your left" he says and a car drives by and drops my mother.

Damn! She is bleeding on her wound and she is unconscious.

No! My mom!

Before I make a move, the car drives off quickly and it has no plate number.

"What about my father and Jacie?" I ask as I'm rushing towards my mother.

Aunt Saira and Samson are following me.

"Oh, I forgot about them. So sorry. My men and I have already left the place so I will tell you where they are. Your father is at the old building near Santa Maria church while your lover is at the old building at the abandoned park near the beach. Oh, I also forgot to take off the bombs. I think you just have six minutes to save them. The bombs will go off at the same time. Who will you save first? Your father or your lover? Your mother needs to get to the hospital too. Else she dies" He asks and with that, he hangs up.

"BASTARD!" I yell but he has already hang up.

I smash my phone on the road and turn to my mother.

"What did he say?" Asks aunt Saira in tears

"Dad and Jacie are in danger. They are tied up with bombs in different places. Who should I go to? My father or Jacie? My mom needs to go to the hospital. What do I do?" I ask as I sit on the road.

Some people passing by are taking pictures as they have recognised me.

"Boss, go to Jacie. I will go to Mr Merkian. Miss Saira, can you drive?" Asks Samson and she nods.

"I know your daughter is in danger and you feel bad but you have to be strong. Take the car and drive Mrs Merkian to the hospital" says Samson and he carries my mom to the car they came with.

Aunt Saira gets in and she drives off as we watch.

"Boss we have 6 minutes. Where have they kept your father?" He asks and I tell him.

"Santa Maria church is close by I can reach there in 3 minutes. Use the car to reach to ma'am Jacie. All the best boss" he says and he smashes his boots together and they turn into skates.

He is just of great help to me right now.

The only people that are around when I need them the most.

He holds on to my car as I drive off so that he can get a boost to move fast.

We reach a junction and part ways as he skates his way to Santa Maria church.

Through the side mirror, I see that he gives me a thumps up to wish me the best.

I'm driving at a high speed.

I can't lose Jacie at any cost.

I have just have 5 minutes left to reach my Jacie.

Writer's Pov

Damian is almost there when something hits the front tires of his car and the car flips.

What the fuck!

He is thrown out of the car since he had no seatbelt on and the window of the car was open.

He falls next to a pole on the road leading to the building in the park.

His head is injured and so is his left hand.

Blood is flowing through his head and he feels like the whole world is spinning.

"Jacie" he says and he gets alittle strength to stand up.

His car has fallen away from him and it's upside down.

The tires are still rolling and fuel is pouring on the road.

He thinks of Jacie and he sees the building abit far from where he is.

With the little strength he has, he still rushes towards the building.

He trying to run but his legs are weak.

His legs are failing him right now but he is still moving.

As that happens, Samson has already found Mr Merkian at the building near the church and the bomb has just 10 seconds before it goes off and kill him.

Samson is good at bombs and he quickly cuts the active red wire and the bomb becomes deactivated.

"Somebody help me!" He hears Jacie screaming through the amplifier and he senses that Damian has not yet gotten there.

"Oh no!" He says and he unites Mr Merkian whose mouth is tied up.

Samson is looking worried as his count is now at 0.

BOOM!!!!

That's the sound that startles Samson and Mr Merkian as they are leaving the building.

It was from the amplifier and it only means one thing.....the bomb was not able to be deactivated.

At that same time, Damian has almost reached the building and what becomes of the building makes him shutter completely.

The building explodes as Damian watches.

It was the same building that Jacie was in.

Jacie explodes with the building as Mian watches.

"JACIEEEEEEEEEEE!" screams Mian as he falls on his knees and tears flow from his eyes like water.

He is shuttered completely.

A second time he loses Jacie.

This time, he saw it with his own eyes and he couldn't save her.
