*THE REVIVAL*

It's been two days since the death of Jacinta and they are performing her wake at Damian's mansion.

The whole building was destroyed into ashes and so was Jacinta.

Aunt Saira who got the news when she was at the hospital fainted due to shock.

Damian was shuttered and he still can't believe that he couldn't save her.

Jessie went dumb and she has never talked to anyone ever since she heard about her sister's death.

Tears just keep flowing from her eyes and no sound of crying is heard from her.

It's just too painful for her to take it in.

Mr Merkian is in tears since he brought death to his friend's daughter and a loss to his son.

Looking at Damian who seems lost with tears in his eyes, Mr Merkian wishes he would have died instead of Jacinta.

Selina was lucky to find blood but they brought her home to recover.

She is awake and can talk but they don't want her to cry since her wound is still fresh.

Samson has been a crying shoulder to Damian whose tears are like water flowing down a river.

He has lost sleep and his eyes are swollen.

Jacinta's neighbours from the beach are also here to support aunt Saira along as Vivian, Jacie's bestfriend.


She had been crying ever since and she keeps remembering the naughty things they used to do together.

She went with Damian and she never came back to her.

She feels so sad.

The last time she met her was on tv with Damian at the couples show, now she is dead.

Her death was not announced to the media since they would want alot of explanations of which none of the family members was ready to explain.

The Cartneys who wanted to be sure that Jacie is dead have also arrived.

Stella is trying to move closer to Damian and is trying to comfort him even though it hurts to see him like that but Damian does not even look at her.

"Look Damian, stop crying for her already. She is gone but I am here. I can make you forget about her so easily. Just give me a chance" she whispers in his ears and Damian moves away from her.

He goes to where Jacie' s picture has been displayed and stands there.

He has another picture of her in his hand and he remembers the little time they spent together in Tanzania and in that house.

A priest has been invited to preach and just after he is done with preaching, the new owners of Merkian group of companies arrives at the wake.

Bianca and her son James come out of the expensive Range rover and walk over near Mr Merkian.

"Hi dad, sorry for the loss of your daughter in law" says James and they move towards Damian.

Bianca brings out a whole bunch of money and gives it to Damian who refuses it.

"Is it too little? Okay let me add some more" she says and brings out another bunch.

"If you came here to mock us, then you can as well leave" says Damian and looks away.

"He is an orphan and he is poor, but he still does not want our gratitude. Let's go mom" says James but Mr Merkian comes there.

"Damian Sylvester Merkian, is my son. He is not an orphan. Now, leave this place before you cause a scene" says Merkian firmly.

Bianca angrily drops the money and leaves.

"Hey!" Calls out Damian and they turn to look.

Samson hands him a matchbox and he lights it up and burns the money into ashes as Bianca and James watch angrily.

"You have not seen the last of us!" Yells James and they are about to leave.

The staff from Merkian group of companies come in holding candles.

Each one of them who comes out of their car has a candle lit up for Jacinta.

They are being led by Justin.

"What is the meaning of this?" Asks Bianca angrily.

"Drop the candles and get back to work or you are fired!" Yells James

"No need for that. I quit!" Says Justin.

Everyone at the wake has stood up and is looking at them.

"Very well then! We don't need you in our company. Who else is quiting? We will hire new staff very soon" says Bianca and in shock, all the staff side up with Justin and they all quit.

"I should never see any of your faces around the company!" Says James and leaves with his mother.

Damian is dazed at Justin's move.

He has always been strict with his workers such that he never thought they would support him like that.

"Sorry for you loss boss" says Justin and the rest follow.

"You guys dint have to quit your jobs" says Damian.

"You are the best boss we have ever had. You make sure there is food for us in the company, you make sure our offices are comfortable, our wedges are paid on time and the environment at work is conducive. You have never been greedy and always considered our well being. Your stiffness at work was for our own good. We are not ready to work with greedy and selfish people. We will look for jobs at other places and work but if you ever need our support in anyway, we will be available and ready to help" says Justin and the other staff support him.

For the first time, Damian found sense and humanity in Justin.

He did not even stop his tear from dropping and hugged him.

It was the happiest moment for Justin.

For the first time Damian hugged him like a brother.

"Boss, your accounts have been seized by James and his mother. There is not a single penny left, so please, accept our small donation. We will feel appreciated" says Lyuba and walks forward with a bag holding up 3.5 million dollars.

Damian looks at Mr Merkian who wipes his tears and asks Damian to take it.

"I'm very proud of you son" says Mr Merkian to Damian and hugs him.

"We are very proud of you sir!" Says Justin and salutes him followed by the rest of the staff.

"Thank you and I wish you all the best in life. Keep your lines available, I will look for you soon" says Damian as he took the bad from Lyuba.
