Chapter 21
Sean needed no one to tell him that he had learnt nothing from his story, he shook his head unbelievably and sighed, "The uniqueness and gracefulness of a woman is not calculated by what she wears but by what is inside her and what she portrays, the aura that seeps out of her. It was what the man had seen on the poorly dressed beggar and knew she was his. So what am I saying? All I have to say is that I am sorry, Frank but none of these drafts portrayed the three qualities and I told you that I will consider you a failure in the contract if you didn t get those three qualities."
Frank sat up on the chair immediately, "no, no, no Mr. Brand, if you don t like the drafts, I can make new ones, you don t have to end the contract."
Sean heaved a sigh, "but how can you make a new design when you don t understand the right perspective? You need to understand that the beauty of a woman is not in what she wears or where she lives or how she looks but in how she thinks, acts and talks. It s in what that is inside her and frankly speaking, I don t think you will ever understand that."
Frank frowned, "and why would you say that?"
"Look deeply inside you, Frank, do you think you understand it?"
The first thought that came to Frank s mind was Athena, he had broken up with because she doesn t have class and doesn t suit his status but how could Sean know about that? How could he speak so confidently like he knew he had done a thing like that? The question only cleared a little bit of the doubt in his mind, does Sean really know about Athena and had he really seen them leaving in his car? He shook his head at the thought, he can t afford to lose the contract with Sean, Mr. Bridgeton as well as every other staff at Fashionista were treating him good just because of the contract, if he should lose it, he doesn t really want to think of what Samuel would say.
He cleared his throat and looked into Sean s beautiful hazel eyes, "Mr. Brand, I strongly believe that if you give me another chance that I would design a dress worthy of you and your woman, just give me a little more time to have that done, please."
Sean smiled softly, "do you strongly believe that if I give you another chance that you would get the perfect design?"
"You have my word."
Sean chuckled, "fine then, I guess I can spare a little more time to you. Impress me the next time."
Frank smiled, happy that he still has the job, "don t worry, Mr. Brand, with your story and what I have learnt today, I will surely get it right this time."
"Great," Sean answered just as there was a knock on the door and the pretty redhead came in again carrying a tray with two cups of coffee, "oh look, the coffee is here, you will still take it won t you?"
"Um, sure, yeah."
Sean smiled and his secretary served them. All through the time Frank was there, he wanted so badly to ask Sean if he knows about Athena but he valued his job more than a stupid question about an irrelevant like Athena. A man like Sean could easily end his career and not to forget that he is a very good friend to his boss, Leo Monroe.
"Something you want to say, Mr. Frank?" Sean asked, casually sipping his coffee. He could notice Frank constantly glancing at him and he knew he wanted to ask him something, after all, he knew he saw him with Athena four days ago when they were leaving the restaurant, he had seen him across the streets when he was walking back to Athena after seeing his friend off and he loves how he was finding it difficult to ask him the simple question. Good, that would make him think for a few more days till he is bold enough to ask him.
"Huh? No, nothing, I m practically good, Mr. Brand," Frank answered.
Sean smiled secretly and placed his coffee mug on the desk, he picked up the endorsement he was studying earlier and he ignored the irrelevant man opposite him.

Sean got down from the car, he walked towards the house as Smith shut the door, when he pushed open the door, he saw Athena walking around the living room with a book on her head, he stopped, shocked and surprised that she was doing that without him telling her to.
TB saw him first and clapped his hand happily, "oh, Sean is back," he stood up as Athena turned sharply to see the man standing by the door, she smiled to him and he returned the smile and entered the living room. "Sean, you won t believe it, Athena has been walking with that book on her head all day."
Sean glanced at her in surprise and she looked away shyly, "I m impressed but what could be the problem before? Is it that you don t love my teaching?"
"What?" Athena asked perplexed.
"I mean I have been teaching you for five days now but you find it hard to master and today I had to rush to the company and told you to rest, you mastered it."
Athena laughed, "well, I told myself I had to do it to surprise you when you get back and TB thought it was a good idea."
"Really? So now I get surprises?" He asked and she looked away shyly, he chuckled, "that s great, we would start with two books tomorrow. It would be amazing if I come back the day after to receive another surprise," he grinned and Athena blushed while TB rolled his eyes.
"Oh please," he waved them off and Athena excused herself to go to her room. TB turned to Sean, "someone looks like he has a story to tell."
"And how do you know that?"
"Oh please, Sean, I have known you for like how long now, twenty years or nineteen?"
"Nine," Sean answered.
"Oh forget that, it doesn t matter anyway, what is it?"
"Nothing important or should I say no one important, just don t tell her I said that," he looked at the door Athena left in.
"I see. You met Frank?"
"More like he visited me and he is just a fool like I call him."
"At wouldn t be happy hearing that."
"That s why I said don t tell her," he reminded. "Did you call Esperanza?"
"Yes, she is on her way. Why do you want to give her the endorsement?"
"Because she is worth it," he stood up, "I need to freshen up before she gets here. What s for dinner?"
"I really don t know but Esther is on it," TB replied and Sean nodded and left the room. TB stayed around for a while and left as well.
By the time Athena returned from showering, the living room was empty and she decided to sit and wait for them. She didn t wait for long when the front door opened and a tall lady stepped in, she had platinum blonde hair and emerald green eyes. She was dressed in a green jumpsuit that matched with her eyes. All it took was one look for Athena to recognize who she is; she was the famous international model, Esperanza Sanchez whose magazines that have her face on the covers were lying around in the house.
She stood up with smile to welcome her but the renowned lady looked at her once and her face curled up in a frown, "who the hell are you?" She asked in a voice that could be considered sexy but was actually threatening.
