Chapter 34

Sean couldn t understand what had happened and even though he wanted so badly to go talk to her, he knew now is not the moment and decided to give her some time to get herself in check, also, he wondered why he had lost control of himself, perhaps briefly kissing her last night had became addictive and he couldn t control himself anymore. If that be the case then he must be going crazy and really needs to master his control again. He left the training room and went back to his room; he took another shower, dress up and left the house.
Athena watched him leave from her room, she stood near the window with the curtain partly drawn and watched him, he was looking striking handsome in the white pants and black blazer he had on, she had come to notice that he loves wearing blazers more than suits and heaven, does he look good in them. Smith opened the car door for him, and as if noticing that she was watching him, he turned back and looked straight at her window.
Athena gasped and let go of the curtain immediately, she stood there, trying to get her breathing in check. Soon, she heard the sound of the car engine and opened the curtain again to see the car leaving. When it was out of sight, she let go of the curtain and went to her bed, falling on it, she cursed herself. She must be crazy, she ran out of the room when he kissed her and started missing him immediately he was out of her sight, she is stupid right?
Heaving a sigh, she turned on the bed, her thought went back again to that night, she hasn t been able to recall the exact feeling of kissing him that night and she had often wondered how. So this is how it feels to kiss him? She touched her lips with her fingertips, remembering just how softly his lips ran over hers and how it had sent shivers down her spine. She closed her eyes; she shouldn t be feeling like this, she mustn t forget that the main reason of being in contact with him was because he promised to get her back together with Frank, why should she be feeling for him? This isn t right; this isn t how it should be. She ran her hands through her hair, what is wrong with her? Why is she feeling like this?
She didn t want to think about the kiss anymore and went into thinking of what he told her, be the Face of his company, what? She is an amateur, but he didn t seem to mind. Does she want to be a model? She has never thought of being that in her life, she had always thought she was inferior and can never be such majestic women but TB and Sean definitely believes she can be one of them; the question is, does she? She remembered how Esperanza behaves and how elegant she poses in all the magazines she had seen her, can she be like that?
The door opened with a screeching scream and she jumped on her bed immediately just as TB threw himself on the bed, and grabbed her hands, still screaming. Athena snatched her hands from him and blocked her ears, "maybe you can tell me what is making you so happy before you block my eardrums?" She asked, glaring at him and TB stopped screaming to pout.
He rolled his eyes, "day by day you are becoming more like Sean, seriously, you two suit each other perfectly."
Athena ignored what he said, she doesn t want to believe that, men like Sean can never be with women like her, or could they? If she becomes a model now, can she be qualified to be with him? She shook her head at the thought, Frank is the one for her and all this if for her to get back with him, she shouldn t divert her focus. "Why were you screaming like you have seen a monkey?"
TB rolled his eyes once more, "why would you make such comparison, do I look like I would scream so much if I see a monkey?" He snorted, "Anyway, Sean just called me and he told me to dress you up and bring you to the office."
Athena felt her heart beat increasing, "why?"
"Because, he has chosen you to become Face of Brand, oh my God, do you have any idea what every model would do to become that? And you, you are not even a model yet and he…wow," TB was finding it hard to believe but if there is one thing he was certain of was that Athena would truly be a model desired by all. He looked at her, she was still in shock and haven t said anything, "what?"
Athena couldn t believe what she heard; she thought he was asking for her opinion earlier, why did he suddenly make the decision for her?
"Ugh, Athena, don t tell me you are thinking of rejecting the offer, I will definitely not let you do that, now come on, let s get you sparkling that those board of directors would accept you with just a glance," he stood up and grabbed her hand, dragging her up, "get up, we are not missing this chance in this world."
Everything was still a surprise to Athena but when TB set his mind on something, nothing, absolutely nothing would stop him from carrying that out and so she just let him do whatever he want.

Sean was in his office getting ready to attend a meeting when the door opened and he looked up to see TB, only he dares to enter his office without knocking, he and Leo, what is he going to do to them? He opened his mouth to yell profanities at him as always but he remembered something and looked behind him immediately to see the lady standing there. The first few seconds, he was spellbound and couldn t take his eyes off her. She was dressed in a beige knee-level gown, her hair was let down and she had the simplest make up on which spoke of the innocence he had seen in her the first time he met her. Looking at her took him back to that night; the first time he had seen her.
He had been looking for somewhere cool and awesome he can be spending the night and whenever he didn t feel like mingling with anyone and TB had suggested the club to him and he went there. He was almost on his way leaving, thinking of the things he would do to TB when he saw her, she looked so broken, worn out, na?ve and timid but he also saw the innocence in her at one glance, which was what attracted him to her in the first place.
Staring at her right now, standing near the door in his office, although the innocence was still there but there was something different about her, she doesn t look so broken or worn out like she did the first time, neither did she look so na?ve and timid. Even her aura had changed, something he had wanted to notice in a long time. Waking up from his spell, he stood up, a smile playing on his lips.
"What, you don t want to curse me like you usually do?" TB rolled his eyes and turned to Athena, "what do you think of my hard work? I m the best aren t I?"
Sean rolled his eyes, "don t get too full of yourself."
"Hmph, killjoy," he murmured.
Sean ignored him and faced Athena, "finally, you came to my office." He smiled and walked around the desk to meet them, "you look beautiful, they are going to agree with me with just one glance at you," he chuckled and turned to TB, "make her comfortable, I will call you when I need you to bring her over," he said to him and looked at Athena, he wanted to tuck her hair behind her ear, he wanted to caress her face but remembering how she ran away from him in the morning, he clenched his fist and nodded to her, "see you soon," then he walked away.
It wasn t long Sean left and Athena and TB were discussing on the couch when the door opened and a tall brown skinned woman entered. Athena was surprised when she saw her, she was mesmerized by her beauty and it was obvious on her face and the way she looked at her.
"Oh my world," TB said and stood up, "Gloria," he laughed and walked up to the smiling woman, they hugged and he let her go to admire her, "you are looking more beautiful by the day."
"Oh please, don t flatter me," she looked behind him at Athena, "I heard from the girls that you came in and with a new catch, I believe this is her?"
TB turned to Athena, "you can say that again," he walked back to Athena and Gloria followed him, "Gloria, this is Athena, Athena, meet Gloria."
"Wow, she must be the one Sean told me about yesterday," Gloria smiled and stretched out her hand at Athena, "it s nice to finally to meet you, he spoke so beautifully about you yesterday."
