Chapter 11 -The oath

"Please don't ...... don't do that ......please ......"
Diana kept shouting loudly and Simon, who had just come downstairs, happened to see this scene, his felt nervous and walked over to shout Jennifer indiscriminately: "Jennifer, what are you doing again!"
"Again? You're asking me?" Jennifer let out a bitter laugh as she stared at Simon until her eyes were sore before she shook her head and laughed, "You never let me explain something, the only thing in your heart is Diana, right?"
"What do you mean, This is the truth, I have eyes and know right from wrong." Simon said firmly, but there was always a voice in his heart, say it, I want to hear it.
Even though he did not believe in her and could not trust her.
"Fine, since this is how you think of me, then I don't want to be sorry for your thoughts either." Jennifer said then picked up the fruit knife in her hand and stabbed it straight towards Diana, but it was vigorously knocked back by Simon, Jennifer looked at the knife that came towards her but forgot to dodge it.
The moment she fell to the ground, she felt a sense of relief.
The blood was flowing again, she could feel it welling up in her body, she had lost no idea how much blood, how much bone and flesh she had lost these days.
"Simon, what should we do ...... I'm so scared ......," In Simon's arms, Diana was shocked, Simon pat her shoulder comfort her, but his eyes kept staring at Jennifer on the ground, who seemed not to move.
Diana took a look at Simon and then at Jennifer, who was on the ground, and had another plan.
She boldly walked over and squatted on the ground to reach out to detect Jennifer's breathing, which was very faint, but she turned her head to look at Simon with a flushed expression, and her voice was also tinged with tears, "Simon, she's dead ......"
Simon had a moment of freezing, she was dead?
He knew clearly that Jennifer was weak and could not withstand so much torment, but he was just unwilling to lower his status a little to give her an out.
He had hated her so much and wanted her to die sooner, but when he actually heard the news of her death, Simon was a little lost in thought.
"What should we do, Simon, it's all my fault, kill Sister Jennifer ...... Simon, can you, let Sister Jennifer rest in peace early, I'm so afraid ......" The anxiety and guilt in Diana even fooled herself. Simon was so vexed that he waved his hand for Diana to retreat behind him, got up and picked up the woman on the ground, and when he came to his mind, his feet had already unconsciously stepped out.
"Jennifer, don't you want to take revenge? Why don't you open your eyes and continue to fight against me? Wake up!" On the way to the hospital, Simon finally couldn't calm himself down and yelled out these words at her in a panic, in a moment of life and death, how he didn't want to lose that person.
He was even thinking that if he had known this was the outcome, he would have preferred not to block that ...... blinding lights came on and flashed, Simon had unconsciously run countless red lights, he just wanted to keep her life for a while longer, even if it was just for a second.
But the doctor's shaking head and sighing made Simon nearly lost his balance.
"Sorry, we have done our best, the patient has lost too much blood due to the deep wound, she has lost signs of life. We will contact the family as soon as possible to come for the relevant procedures."
"Are you saying that she's dead?" Simon looked at the young doctor with wide eyes, his face full of reluctance to believe.
But the doctor only replied indifferently, "Yes."
Simon did not remember how he walked out of the hospital, he only knew that a piece of his heart was indeed missing after the doctor announced Jennifer's death.
Why?
A few hours ago, she said she wanted revenge, but now she has gone?
She had abandoned herself without saying a word, and I didn't expect that a few years later, the tragedy would still repeat itself again.
No matter how much he had tormented her in the past, Simon had to admit that even if he had been reincarnated many times, he would still love her at first glance.
The night breeze was slightly cool, hitting his face.
Simon stood by the side of the road until his legs went numb before he dared to accept this fact.
Jennifer Louise, the woman who he cared about in his youth, was dead.
A cigarette burned out, Simon went back to the hospital, but the empty ward made him panic again.
"Where is she?" Simon himself did not even notice that his tone was already full of anxiety and haste.
"Her family has already left the hospital with her body."
The young doctor was grabbed by the collar, yet he still had an unhurried attitude and looked at Simon with some hostility in his eyes.
"Has left?" Simon was already like a raging lion, ready to go berserk: "Who gave you permission to let them take Jennifer away on their own initiative! Did you have my permission?"
"What are you to her?" The doctor gave a soft chortle and continued, "Aren't the family even qualified to handle her aftercare?"
A word to the wise.
What did her take him for?
Ex-boyfriend?
Or a lover?
He himself couldn't even explain it .
But when he thought that he hadn't even seen the last of Jennifer, Simon's heart ached for no reason. He finally accepted the fact that she left, but now he can never see her body again. How can he be willing?
He vowed that even if it was a corpse, he would keep her by his side.
