Cherie remember how her first meeting with Felix is years ago. At that time Cherie help Felix who is robbed at three in the morning. He would have almost died if Cherie has not dragged the man to the hospital.

Of course Cherie gives attackt him back to the perpetrator who attacked Felix. Cherie provides hidden cctv. She gives it to Felix's family because at that time the existence of Ghouls is still illegal in the city of Marvierra.
"Thank you so much for helping me that night," Felix said.

Starting from that meeting, their relationship begins to closer. They meet often because Felix gives Cherie a job. At that time, she is running away from the forest because he felt threatened by the existence of a new member who like him. The Ghoul man's name is Sam, Cherie hates that man. Because of Sam, she left the forest and he need money to survive.
Cherie is still sane enough not to kill a human because she could die in vain from being shot by a human. Even though she sometimes sees injustice against humans, Cherie couldn't do much.
The status is still illegal in Marvierra.
"You don't have an ID at all?"
"Yes, that is so. I lost my card,” Cherie lied.
She couldn't possibly admit that she is a Ghoul? She could be killed by Felix.
“Then, I will report a missing person case, your family must be looking for you. I'll help you get your identity back. Hopefully you can get together with your family soon."

"Felix, save this baby."
Cherie returns to Felix's car to hand over a baby. She has to help other humans in need. Therefore he comes back out afterwards.
“Cherie!!!!!! I will throw this baby away if you don't tell me what happened. Who are they? Who is that monster, Cherie?”
Cherie is just silent, she couldn't. She looks at Felix's face which is pale with fear and then kissed the lips gently.
“I am the same monster as them, Felix. I'm not human, I'm a Ghoul. Sorry, I can't be your wife and mother of your children. I'm sorry that I'm not perfect."
Felix is surprised to hear that.
“So, I've been dating a Ghoul all this time? You've been lying to me all this time?”
"I'm sorry, Felix."
After that Cherie got out of the car and helpsseveral humans to escape to a safe place, including Felix.
The government mobilized many of the best personnel to take care of the starving Ghouls in the city of Marvierra. At that time, Cherie is forced to flee immediately so as not to be shot dead by state security forces. She regret having to leave Felix like this way.
While in the middle of the night she is crying over Felix, a hungry wolf came and wants to attack him. Cherie gives the deer's leg to the wolf who is now her pet, Grim.
"That's my past," she says.

Although, sometimes, Cherie still remembers the incident.

Grim licks Cherie's hand then Cherie complained about the wolf's neck.
