100 Years

Don't worry, Ma Cherie. We'll meet again," said Zack.

Zack give a kiss Cherie's on face, everyone who see it understand how much Zack is hurt when Cherie is no longer able to open her eyes. Her body become extremely cold, her face is pale and her heart stop beating.

The wound that Cherie got was deep and tore her heart. That is the reason why she died.
Grim approaches Cherie, the wolf bent down and licked Cherie's hand until Cherie's hand is wet with saliva and tears from the wolf. Grim howled loudly, but sounded very pitiful.

"Oh, Cherie."

Rosie pounds her chest hard when she se Cherie's unconventional body.

"In another life, I will hold your hand when you dress with beautiful white in the April. Like I always tell you that I will be waiting for you for hundred time. Please, come back to me. Zack and Cherie still live in Marvierra. They still work as usual in factory. 100 years have passed, now the city of Marvierra has become a developed country with very stable economic conditions, happy people and also rapid technological developments.

Many people have died at the age of 60-80 years. The Ghouls are still doing their job properly to protect the city of Marvierra from the evil bad people.

As time goes by, crime never stops, it just keeps growing. Zack and Rosie are still the ones who deal with the problem the most. In fact, nowadays bad people come from everywhere.

"Good, I'm glad to hear that. You are the real man, no doubt. Let's have dinner with my husband and son. It's his birthday tonight."

"I have to find a present for him. Has Crystal bought anything for her father yet?"

"Yeah, she bought a tie for his dad. That kid saved up for two months to buy a present for his dad."

Yes, Rosie is already married and even has a daughter who has violet eyes. Rosie's daughter is now 9 years old.

"Then you gave a present to your husband?"

Rosie smiles a little, she rubbed her stomach gently. Zack, who understand this sign is immediately surprised. He immediately hug Rosie's body tightly. Rosie is indeed surprised by the skinship that Zack gives to her. However, 100 years have passed, she already understand love better than before. Now, she is happy could to spend 100 years with someone she loves, as friends, companions and co-workers.

Their destiny is to become friends. He got a lot from his heartbreak because of Zack. His love did end like a sad ending that burned his heart, but all of that made him stronger, independent and wiser.
She's broken, but she is ain't fragile.

"Congratulations, you're going to be a mother to both little angels. I'm happy for you two, Rosie."

"Thank you, Zack."

The story of the three of them is really interesting because the three of them are close friend. Cherie and Rosie love the same man. Meanwhile, Zack loves Cherie, but they are separated because of death. Zack wants to live with Cherie, but he ends up spending 100 years with Rosie, the woman he doesn't love in romantic way.

Maybe, if Zack had loved Rosie... By now they would have lived happily ever after and been able to spend 100 years with their kids. However.... This is the reality, Zack is still waiting for his true love. Even if he had to wait for her to go through 100 nights without Cherie. Sometimes, that longing makes Zack feel very lonely, he misses the warmth of Cherie's body. He miss for a kiss from a woman who could always make him feel into heaven. He miss Cherie that lot.

However, he had been holding on with the belief that Cherie would definitely come back for him. Zack is probably crazy for believing that and making him suffer. However, he is a man who could only love one woman, and that woman is Cherie.

"Come on, I'll take you home."

"Yeah, but I want to pick up the Crystal. She's at her grandma's."

"Alright, let's get Princess Crystal."

During these 100 years, Zack experienced many difficulties, especially food problems. It's so hard to eat because he only liked Cherie's body. Therefore, Rosie kept Cherie's DNA, she made a liquid formula that Zack could eat. The liquid formula will be injected into Zack's food, that's the only way Zack can eat. It might not be exactly the same as Cherie's meat, but it tasted quite familiar to Zack.

For these 100 years, that's how Zack ate to survive. He will inject the liquid formula into his food.

"UNCLE ZACK!!!!"

"Hi, Princess."

During these 9 years, Zack was quite happy to see Crystal's growth. The beautiful girl was very close to him. Crystal even said to Rosie that when she grew up, he wanted to marry Zack.

"Are you going to have dinner at our house tonight?"

"Yes, it's your father's birthday today. Your mother invited me to have dinner together. Let's go home first."

The four of them would have dinner together as usual. Rosie doesn't eat human flesh anymore, she only eats animal. Ten years of living with humans made her get used to eating animal instead humna. Especially now that technology is so advanced, she can inject DNA from human formula liquids for her food.

"Daddy, happy birthday."
Crystal gives her gift when her father enter the house. Oh, Edrick is so happy to receive a gift from his little daughter. Edrick is a soldier serving in Marvierra. Both Zack and Edrick are pretty good friends, until one day Edrick started to fall in love with Rosie.

Marriage between humans and Ghouls is legal, but that is only in Marvierra. It is still illegal in other countries.

After dinner, Zack returns to his house. He still lives in the same house as 100 years ago. He now lives with a wolf descended from Grim, who knows how many descendants. The white wolf is named Sheeran.

"Hi, Sheeran. You must be hungry. Here's fo you," Zack said.

He put the meat in Sheeran's bowl of food then he goes to take a shower. After bathing, then he light his cigarettes. Usually at night, he would see Cherie practicing dancing. Her long legs will look like brushes in the air.

"Every night for these hundred years, I've always remembered you, Ma Cherie. When will you meet me again? I'll still be waiting for you even if I have to wait another 1000 years."

Zack is waiting for Cherie's reincarnation in this world again. He would also look for Cherie if she hadn't been born in Marvierra. This is indeed difficult to do, but he will still try to find the whereabouts of his love. Doesn't he want to fall in love with another woman? Or, has he never fallen in love with another woman in these 100 years?

No one could make Zack fall in love the way Cherie did to him. Cherie is the only one who can make him fall in love untill the bottom of the ocean.
