The Truth Untold

Cherie open her door and she is surprised to see who the guest is.
The man who has a bass voice, freckless on his face and pale skin.
"Felix?"
"Hi, Cherie. How are you? I am so happy to meet you, again."
Cherie immediately hugs the man, to be honest she miss Felix so much. Every day sometimes she feels guilty for hurting a man as good as Felix.
“Hey, I miss you too. Can I come in first? There's something I want to talk to you about."
"Sure," Cherie pulled Felix's hand into her house.
As Grim starts to move outside, he is reluctant to get too close to humans because he could get out of control. He knows that Cherie also need some alone time with Felix. Therefore, he chose to leave for a while.
"How did you know I lived here?"
"I…. I've been looking for you to ask Cherie for help. I got your address from my friend who works in a government office.”
"Are you hurt? I'm ready to help you."
Felix shake his head. He takes a deep breath before telling the problem he has been dealing with.
“Do you remember the baby you left with me seven years ago? She is I dont know how to say but She… She got injured.”
"A baby?"
For a moment, Cherie recalling her memory of what had happened several years ago. Then she remembers the baby Felix is referring to.
“That baby… Yes, I remember. What's wrong with her?"
"Her name is Helen. All this time She got injured in the hand, I thought it is just an ordinary wound. However, until now the wound is still not healed. Every now and then, she sometimes acts aggressively, and kills many of her pets.”
“What happened to her? Now, where does she live?”
“I had to stock her up, Cherie. I feel so sorry for her. To be honest, Helen has never been so aggressive like this. However, when she is seven years old, she begis to turn very aggressive. She even almost hurt me that time, I was so shocked, Cherie.”
Cherie couldn't stay still.
"Take me to your place. I want to see it, Felix."
Cherie never thought that Felix still remembers her even taking care of the baby she left with er first. At first, she thought Felix would leave the baby in an orphanage. Who would have thought that Felix fell in love with the baby he named Helen and considered it his own biological child. Oh, the noble-hearted Felix has become a good father to his daughter.
Cherie then decided to come see Helen's condition with Grim. The wolf has to come because he wouldn't let Cherie goes alone with Felix.
When Felix opens the door to Helen's room, Cherie immediately grimaced at the sight of the girl. Her face is full of bloodstains, the smell of fishy and rust mixed together. His hands and feet are tightly shackled.

Grim growled suddenly. This makes Cherie immediately calm her pet wolf.
However, as if getting stimulated and feeling threatened, Helen growled too.

“Hey, calm down, Grim. Don't worry, he won't hurt me."
Cherie approaches to Helen after calming Grim down. The woman started to investigate the part
Helen's injured hand. The wound is already blackened and pitted, there is a silver smell wafting in her blood.
“What happened to her, Cherie? Can you help her?”
Cherie smile faintly, she stroked Felix's face who is worried about Helen's condition.
"Don't worry, I will help you. For now, I have to say that she, Helen…. Helen is not a human, Felix."
"What?!!!!"
What does Felix just hear? Is this just a hallucination? There is no way that his daughter, the beautiful girl he has care for and love for all this time. She is not a human?
Then, who is the daughter all this time?
"What happen to Helen, Cherie?"

Felix still looks very surprised. However, he also couldn't deny that he needs to be clear about his daughter's information.
"Helen…. He's just like me, a Ghoul. It's possible that he is bitten by a Ghoul as a child and only turned into a Ghoul when she is seven years old," Cherie explains to Felix.

"Can she survive with this condition? Is there a way to save her?”
“She can't be human, Felix. However, I will make sure that the wound will heal. Don't worry, we have to heal the wound. Helen might to aggressive because the wound hurt her, there is poison in her body.”
Therefore, Cherie intends to find medicine for Helen. The only person he can turn to is…
"Zack?"
Zack is surprised to see Cherie coming with a man who is foreign to him.
"Who is him, Cherie?" Zack asked.
Cherie hesitantly introduces Felix to her. Yes, Zack already knows that this man is a human, the smell is very clear. The question is, why does Cherie brings a human before her?
"He is…. Felix."

Oh, Zack of course still remembers that name. The name that is the reason Cherie sometimes delirious in her dreams. He knows that this man had been the best man for Cherie before he met her. That man is Cherie's first love, Felix.

Cherie feels bad for Zack, she want so badly to tell him the truth that she didn't do anything to Felix. However, is this the right time? Because she has to immediately tell Zack about Helen.
"Zack, I need your help. It's about Helen, the daughter of Felix. She is bitten by a Ghoul as a baby and right now he is in pain, there is a wound on her hand. The poison in the wound hurt Helen."
When Cherie explains about Helen's situation to her, Zack suddenly remember one thing.
"We have to save her before he dies," said Zack,
"Oh, please save my daughter," Felix said, sounding desperate in front of Zack and Cherie.
Zack is still considering whether he should help the daughter of Cherie's ex-lover or…. No?
