Heartbreak Anniversary

There is a wise man told that, gravity is not responsible for someone that fall in love. It's one of the best gravities humans have ever had. However, it would be better if someone we love also loves us. Right?
This is how Rosie feels, she knows the bitter fact she has to swallow. Zack, is a figure who can make her fall in love. However, as soon as the reality made Rosie's heart hurt.
"Do you need help?"
They are in the laboratory to mix the herbs they find. Zack has injected Helen with a sedative. This time, the girl is no longer in shackles.
"This will be over soon. Oh yeah, did you get a sample of Helen's skin?”
"Yeah, I've got it."
Rosie does need to do a laboratory check on Helen's wound. She has already taken a blood sample, so now she would focus on Helen's injured skin.
"Zack, look. There's a lot of bacteria in it. Do you remember this type of bacteria? These are bacteria that are also found in zombie. Do you still remember this?”
Zack approachs Rosie, their faces get so close that Rosie could feel Zack's breath on her face.

Zack immediately grabs Rosie and wash her hands that are on fire using running water. Every now and then he would check on Rosie's condition by asking her how she is. Rosie says she would get better soon.
"I'll get some ointment, wait here first."
"Yes thank you."
Rosie feels that the day is very tiring because she has to take care of the potions and medicine for Helen and she need to carry the burden on her heart.
"Let's kill this love, Rosie.""
Rosie knows that she must kill her love for Zack, it must be done before the love she has will kill her later. However, the more you want to forget someone, the stronger that person will be in your head.
“I am a lovesick girl.”
Rosie rarely smoked, but tonight she did. She needs calm herself for this night.

That night, Cherie does feel something strange about Rosie. It is unusual for Rosie to be restless and finish 3 packs of cigarettes.
"Hey, stop it. What's wrong with you?"
Rosie exhale at the same time as the cigarette smoke that came out of her mouth. That night, she decides to tell Cherie about her hurt.
"I fall in love with someone."
"That's great, who is he? Have you two slept together?”
"Shut up, young lady. I fall in love with a Ghoul…”

Cheri is surprised. Does her best friend also experience what she goes through? Falling in love with a fellow ghoul?
"Then what are you doing, Rosie?"
Rosie sigh again, she looks really frustrated tonight.

"Then tonight we should celebrate your heartbreak, Rosie. Let's dance until the dawn ."
Cherie grabs Rosie's hand and they close the balcony and turn on some loud music. Luckily Rosie's house is soundproof so the neighbors wouldn't be bothered by their party. Oh, this is the thing they imitated from humans. Since living in the city of Marvierra, the Ghouls seem to adapt and do things that humans do, including parties.
For now, they needs a party to celebrate Rosie's heartbreak. It's not only a fun thing to celebrate, but a bitter thing to celebrate. It can make a moment of joy after a broken heart. Able to paint a smile again after crying
“Let's kill this love!!! Cause we are lovesick girls!!!!”
That night Rosie feels alive again even though she has killed the love that is in her heart for Zack. Some stories do end in a sad, sad ending. However, the sad ending is a memorable ending.
An ending that will teach maturity wrapped in tears, struggles and stories. Yes, after this Rosie didn't know what would happen. She has to go back to fighting for her wounded heart alone.
However, that's how it is, isn't it?
Whoever hurts us, we are the ones who are responsible for treating it because if we ask other people to be responsible for our wounds, it is out of control.
