They both two are so nervous right now but they need to calm down. However, perhaps they forget somethin now, the scent of Cherie's blood make them can't hide anymore.

Zack immediately grab Cherie's hand to run. There are several elders who saw their whereabouts. Maybe because Zack had killed so many Ghouls earlier, the elders are starting to get suspicious about it. All of them bring weapon one by one. Zack prepared himself and Cherie on his back, to protect his love and let Cherie just lie down on his shoulder. He could bring universe to the person he love. Now, the only thing he want to bring to Cherie is home.

People said that someone might to reach the highest intelegency at dangereous moment. Now, Zack could say that is true. He never felt this way before, he is the one who are good at fight. Working in Marvierra also make his skill of fight becomes better.

"Let's hide first," Zack pulled Cherie's hand towards an empty house in the woods.

"Ah!"

Cherie's legs are bleeding even more as she try to run again. Zack takes some medicine and some pills for Cherie. He give some injection for Cherie's bleeding feet. Fortunately, he always brings some basic medicine on his bag.

"How do you feeling, Ma Cherie?"

"It's better. Zack, we need to move. They come closer to us. Don't worry about my leg, Zack. The most important thing is we need to hide from them. I am so sorry that refuse your idea the way you asked me to leave Marvierra. I am so sorry for doubting at that time."

"Ma Cherie. No need to say sorry, Love," said Zack.

He know on knees and kiss Cherie on her hand. The path they took for this love story to was certainly not easy. Before this happened, they should be able to live happily together. Today, Cherie really felt sorry that she didn't follow Zack's idea just yet as he had told Cherie past ago. If only she had agreed to that, they would have been able to live happily ever after. Although, the risk that must be faced is, they have to pretend to be human. There is no choice without risk, that's life.
All decisions have risks to faced it.

However, Zack always knows a way to make her feel better. The man never blamed Cherie.

They way he told Cherie to don't say sorry to him made Cherie fall for him deep into ocean of love. This is would be perfect love story for them if they could has happy ending as a result of their suffering all this time.



"It doesn't matter for me as long  as we keep our love on our heart. As long as I can kiss, love and keep you safe, it doesn't matter for me. It's my job to protect, love you unconditionally. Don't worry, we will found another way out. Let's fight together."

Zack lets Cherie hold his shoulder and help her to standing up.

"We need to move, Zack."

"Wait a minute," Zack said.

Zack takes a piece of wood and he makes a fire. Zack throw the wood in the direction where the elders are. The fire started to burn the trees around them.

"Ma Cherie... We have to go now."

Zack carries Cherie on his back, then he run towards the town of Marvierra. Cherie hugs Zack's neck tightly. He is so scared right now. Cherie isn't afraid of having to die, but she is afraid of seeing Zack die.
"Don't worry, Ma Cherie."
Zack knows of many shortcuts to the city. Remember? He did know many places in the forest. Within two hours, he is near the city. However...

Cherie screamed as her back is hit by an arrow. Zack immediately stop his walk and protect Cherie's body which was hit by many arrows. Right now, Zack wants the world to end soon so that everyone who hurt him and Cherie also die. Why do bad people live so long?

It sucks for life.

However, that's how life goes.

One message that Zack will always remember is, don't have high expectations for anything.

Keep fighting in life, even though happy ever after is a hard thing to get.

"ENOUGH!!!!!" shouted Zack.

His eyes are bloodshot at this moment because he is furious with the elders. Yes, the elders who shot arrows at them. Cherie got a lot of wounds on her body right now. Her face is so pale, Zack was sure that it is poison heat.

"You should come with us, Zack. There is no other way to bring yourself to runaway." One of the elders said to Zack. He carries an arrow. The five arrows he shot hit Cherie's body. Currently, Cherie and Zack can't go anywhere anymore. They had to meet up with the other elders soon. Zack is one of the strong with high intellegence and skills. It's not easy to find out him because he know Marvierra and forest so well. He must to say that because of Cherie got hurt, he can't to anywhere.

Those because of love. He won't let left Cherie anywhere.

"Get her to the castle!" on of the elder say.

There are so many wild Ghouls around them who had started to gather at the smell of Cherie's blood. If they don't immediately take Cherie to the castle in the middle of the forest, Cherie could die from being eaten by wild Ghouls. Even though Cherie would die in the end, she has to die not because she is eaten by a Ghoul but because she is punished for betraying the elders. Zack and Cherie must be held accountable for what they do. Loving each other is a mistake for Ghouls. It has long been adhered to by many Ghouls. The elders would punish the treacherous Ghouls by placing them in an ice cube filled with eternal fire. However, actually in some cases, there were also Ghouls who were directly killed by the elders. Elders did have the highest status in the Ghoul hierarchy, they also had greater power than ordinary Ghouls. Hence, the other Ghouls were obedient and subservient to them.

"NO!!! Don't touch her."

"Akkkh!!!! It hurts. Stop it!!!" Cherie shouts because the arrow is getting deeper into her body.

"BASTARD!!!" Zack shouts when he found out that the elders used self-propelled arrows. It is the arrow of the ancestor's stash. The arrows could indeed move on their own at the orders of the elders.

"You can't go anywhere else anymore, Zack."
