CHAPTER 26: IT ISN'T ALWAYS ABOUT YOU!
Aiden
She shook her head at me, "No, I had no idea. Why didn't you tell me?" Just as I was about to answer her, a guy walked up to us and started speaking to Aria. "Hey babe, where'd you go? I was starting to get worried." "Yeah, sorry I had to use the ladies room. I promise I'll be right there." "Okay! Don't keep my waiting!"
Aria smiled at him as he walked off, and just as fast as her smile appeared it disappeared. I became fueled with anger seeing her speak so casually to that guy and the fucker didn't even have the nerve to address me. Aria began to talk but I cut her off.
"Who the fuck was that?" I asked her while crossing my arms, waiting for an explanation from her.
"He's just a friend. Why? What's it to you anyways?"
How dare she talk to me with that tone?
"Aren't you here with a friend as well?"
How fucking dare she?
I grabbed her neck and pushed her against the wall again. "Don't fucking talk to me like that ever again Aria or I'll take you home and fuck your brains out. I asked you a question and I deserve a fucking answer!"
Aria glared at me and then said "Take your hands off of me right now Aiden. You have no right to question who I hang out with or why. You don't own me." I looked at her through glaring eyes and tightened my grip on her chin. "Do I need to remind you? Refresh that sweet, tight, little memory of yours?" I said while I moved my knee in between her legs.
"Hmph. You cocky bastard!"
"WHO THE FUCK WAS HE ARIA?!?" Aria went silent for a while before she spoke again. "You don't need to know shit. You leave for two weeks straight without even a peep from you, and then show up again demanding an explanation on something that doesn't even concern you. I don't owe you a damn thing."
"Oh, you owe me much more than what you believe you do." As I spoke to her, I reached down and grabbed her ass, "Watch your fucking tone Aria. I'm not in the mood for your bullshit! Now tell me what I want to know or I'll find out for myself." I told her as I pushed my lower half against her.
"Go ahead Aiden, do your worst. You will not always control me. I don't know who you think you are, but give me a fucking break! Hmph. What do you want anyways? You don't see me questioning who you came here with!"
"You know damn well who I am and what I want Aria!"
"Just leave me alone!"
She turned to walk away, but I grabbed her arm. "I'm not done talking to you yet!"
I started leading us away from everyone and out of the club. She clawed and scratched at my hand and I stopped to glare at her. "Aria, either you fucking stop or I'll take you right here where you stand! Do not defy me! Now come on!"
"No! Not anymore Aiden! You are always doing this to me! You're always demanding and controlling me! Not anymore! I'm done with you and with all of this nonsense!"
I stopped in my tracks and turned my head to look at her. I couldn't stop the anger burning through my veins.
"What.Did.You.Just.Say?" "You down right heard me! It isn't always about you!"
By the time I had realized it, people were standing around staring at us like we had been talking with our heads cut off. "Aria, come on. We will talk about this later, just not here. Let's go!"
In the midst of me pulling Aria outside with me again, I heard the one persons' voice that I'd forgotten was here with me. "Aiden, baby? What's going on?"
Aria looked at me and snatched her hands away from me and the only thing I could do was hang my head. She ran passed me as I called out her name, but she didn't stop.
"Aria! Come back here! God damn it!" Brittney stood there quietly waiting with her arms crossed. "Don't say a fucking word to me. Let's go." I told her, anger seeping through my every pore because of Aria. At that moment, I didn't want to hear Brittneys' annoying voice nor did I want to be near her anymore. I had it for the night so I decided to drop her back off at her home.
Once she was out of the car, I sped off down the road without even knowing if she had gotten in safely or not. All I cared about was Aria and how defiant she had been tonight. I have never been this angry with her, but she had fully pushed me beyond my limits. I swore to myself that she'd regret her evey action tonight, and that was a promise.
