'Did she just ask me to shut up and akso call me an old man?' Claudius asked himself silently. He feel insulted by the princess and tightened his grip around his spoon with his gaze deep.
" It's obvious Diana doesn't have manners" Sarah scoff and Diana gave her a glare.
" Princess and not just Diana" Diana corrects her with a calm but distant voice . Sarah don't really like calling Diana princess and she don't like calling Helen queen too.
According to her, I should be call the queen and My son Ephesus should be called the prince and not some wooden sticks being called queen and princess.
" Princess my a" Sarah was about to complete her sentence when Diana shuts her up.
" Swallow your words" Diana shut her up and Sarah swallows her words. She couldn't believe Diana is actually telling her to swallow her words.
Where did she get that courage from?
" Don't forget you are in the presence of the king and princess of Alvanor. If you don't want your mouth to be twisted, just shut up and enjoy this royal dinner in peace." Diana tells her looking her in the face and Sarah felt insulted. She felt humiliated and Helen felt like Diana is being insultive. Even if she is not in good terms with Sarah, she shouldn't speak to her that way.
" I knew right from the beginning that you don't lack manners. A good princess and a heiress will not speak to her elders that way" Sarah said with a pityful voice and Diana roll her eyes at her.
" Diana" King Hector called and Diana face turned to look at her father. All this while, Hector has allow her to speak for herself but seems like she is going to speak out of point.
" Yes your majesty" Diana reply and King Hector flicks his lashes at her and Diana quickly understand what he meant. Anytime her father flicks his lashes at her, it means just let her be.
Diana flicks her lashes back and give her father a glare. Because she smiled warmly at him the first time doesn't mean she is no longer angry with him.
King Hector wonder why she glare at him. He can't remember doing anything wrong to the princess so he raised her brows at her and Diana just look away and pick on her food.
Helen felt like she is no longer a member of the family. She felt left out as the daughter and father communicate with their lashes.
When Sarah saw that the princess is not going to reply to her, she felt like a total idiot and she was somehow embarrassed.
Claudius didn't bother to say anything. He just ate quietly and drink quitely. There is nothing to worry about, after all he already has his plans in place.
' it won't be long before I take your crown from you princess' He thought to himself with a smirk on his face and Hector glance at him.
He knew how dangerous Claudius could be and Claudius know how smart Hector could be.
" So Diana how are you preparing for your birthday?" Ephesus asked and Diana raised her head up to look at him. She never expect him to speak. She thought he was going to sit down there eat the whole food without saying a single word.
" I'm planning very well for my birthday" Diana reply with a straight face and shove a black berry in her mouth.
She closed her eyes to take in the sweetness when she bite on it.
' then you must have had a groom in mind" Ephesus added and Diana puts another berry in her mouth. Maybe the berry will help her to chose her words carefully.
" Why do you seem so interested in it?" Diana asked and Ephesus swallow hard on his food.
Its not like he is interested in the princess private affair. He just want to know who the princess groom is.
He had asked himself if he can be the princess groom but then he remember they are related by blood even if they are not to close. He is curious about who the lucky guy is but it seems Diana is not willing to talk about it.
" Its not like I'm interested in it. I'm just curious" Ephesus said and princess Diana rolled her eyes at his response.
" Then clear your curiosity by yourself" Diana reply calmly and wipe her mouth with a napkin. She is not in the mood to chit chat with anyone. She just want to eat and ask her father where irene is kept. She don't have any plan of speaking with Anyone.
After the meal, Sarah walked out of the royal hall furiously fuming in anger. She wished she can do something back there.
" That daughter of a bitch stepped on my toes and make me look like an idiot. Who does she think she is?" Sarah fumes as they took the hall way that leads to thier chamber.
" She is the princess" Claudius reply and Sarah glare at him. She is even mad at him than the princess for putting food in Helen's plate and acting lovey dovey in front of her.
" Princess my ass. Do you think I really don't see your actions back there? Portraying your love for Helen. Why don't you just tell her you have feelings for her? Maybe she can help you ascend the Throne" Sarah said with sarcasm and Claudius just allow her to talk. It's only for the mean time before he punish her for talking out of point.
She don't like Helen but he do. She likes Hector but he don't like him so they both want different things but acts like they want the same thing.
" Who knows I might do that tonight?" Claudius asked her with a smirk on his face and Sarah felt her heart ache.
'Must he say that right in my presence?' she asked herself with a frown on her face and Claudius just ignore her and walk away. Their son is there and it's not good for him to hear such conversation.
" Coward" Sarah cursed before following Claudius and her son.
