Chapter 31: Dream

Prince Jack blink his eyes and look away awkwardly. Princess Diana let out a sigh by closing her eyes.
" Are you alright?" Prince Jack asked and Diana nod her head in response but then she looked at the interior of the room and noticed that it was her room, the room she has been avoiding for a while now. She was glad prince Jack didn't leave the room when he brought her in.
" Thanks for bringing me to my room" princess Diana said more like a whisper but prince Jack heard it.
" You're welcome princess" he reply with a smile on his face. Princess Diana rest on the bed for a while before pulling the blanket from her body while Prince Jack watch all her actions.
" Do you need something?" Prince Jack asked and Diana shook her head negatively.
" I want to see the queen" She reply climbing down from the bed. She pushed her hair backward and adjust her dress. Prince Jack became curious about why the princess wants to see the queen apart being her mother and checking on her. He know Diana wants to discuss something with the queen and who knows if it's about the royal pendant?
" I will go with you. I will love to say hi to her before I leave" prince Jack enunciated forcing a smile on his face.
Diana don't really think prince Jack should follow her to the Queen's room. She has something that she wants 5o discuss with the queen that she really don't want anyone to hear about.
" Fine" Diana reply and walk out of the room while prince Jack trutle behind her.
When some of the maids who were cleaning the hallways saw the prince coming out of the princess room, a lot of thoughts ran through their mind. Thoughts like the princess and prince Jack making out in her room and all other dirty thoughts.
They got to the entrance of the Queen's room and the soldiers bow their heads and open the door for the princess to go in but when prince Jack wanted to go in, they raised their guards and use the Spears to block his way.
" Let him in" Diana ordered when she saw what was happening at the entrance. The royal soldiers still see prince Jack as an outsider just like princess Diana and they're doing their work by not letting any outsider into the Queen's room.
The soldiers removed the Spears from his way and prince Jack glare at them first before walking in.
" Mother how are you?" Princess Diana asked taking by the Queen's bedside and the queen just nod her head and Diana understand what she means. She can't say she's fine and she can't say she's not fine as that would make the princess worry over her.
" Prince Jack is here to say hi to you" Diana said again pointing at prince Jack who walked up to her with a smile on his face.
" Good day queen mother. The almighty Is your strength" he said with a smile and queen Helen forced a smile back at him. She had always been fond of Jack and was glad he came to check on her. She's somehow glad she made the right choice for her daughter the princess.
Prince Jack waited for the princess to say what she wants to discuss with the queen but got dissappointed when the princess only order the maids around and place her head on her mother's shoulder to get comfort and solace.
" I will be taking my leave for now" prince Jack said when he noticed the time had gone far and it will take him time to get back to his province.
" Take care on your way" Diana said and prince Jack nod his head.
" You two take care of yourselves" He reply before walking out of the room and Diana finally let out a sigh of relief.
" Leave us alone for a while " Diana said to the maids and they shared glances and bow their heads before leaving.
After the maids left Diana made sure the door was locked before clearing her throat to speak. Queen Helen already felt curious about what Diana wants to say with her heart racing on her chest . She know the princess want to say something and don't want anyone to hear about it. Her actions tells everything.
" What do you want to talk about Diana?" The queen demanded and Diana sigh.
" I had a dream this afternoon" Diana started closing her eyes to breathe in and out and when she opened her eyes they met the Queen's curious weak eyes.
" I was put in detention by some men who looks like royal soldiers and the next day judgement was passed and I was taken out for execution. There's this huge smile on a man wearing a mask face but I woke up when the ass was lift up and i didn't get to know what happens next because the dream is so terrifying." Diana said and queen Helen went into a deep thought. She really don't know what the dream means but she know that the dream is not good. She feels that something bad is going to happen but she don't know what exactly is that.
Fear was written all over her face and Diana heart skipped a bit. She also know that the dream is not a good one without being told. This is the time she needs Irene most, to interpret the dreams as she's very good at interpreting dreams. Irene had not only be her maid but dream interpreter also. Everything irene said were all through and she needs her right now.
" I don't know what the dream means but I don't feel good about it. Please be careful in the palace" queen Helen said in a sad tone. She held Diana hand and give it a gentle squeeze as if Tellin her she's the only one she has left .
" I will be careful mom" princess Diana said and give the queen a warm hug.
Time runs fast and it has been three days when the king died. The sole murderer was princess Diana and she has been doing all she can to catch the real murderer.
The chattering and the noise outside the room woke princess Diana from her peaceful sleep. She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand and look towards the door which flew opened from the effect of the force that was extracted on it.
