Chapter 11) Two Diversions

One Year Later :-

"Porishma ! What happened why are you here ? You went to meet Rudra naa?" ... ,, Asha ji asked her while playing with One and half year old Ansh

"Asha ji ! I went to meet him But he wasn't there at his Delhi house . I asked the security guard about his mumbai house but he told me that nobody is there at both houses right now" ... ,, Porishma said softly and her eyes were red and swollen . Asha ji was staring at her and understand something was big happened to her

"What's wrong ?" ... ,, Asha ji asked her

"Today's Rudra's wedding . He is in Rajasthan with his whole family" .... ,, Porishma said and tears were flowing through her eyes

"He is getting married ?" .... ,, Asha ji asked and her eyes were wide

"Yes ! His training is completed now . I thought to tell him about Ansh before he will join his duty but now I won't say anything to him about Ansh . He moved on in his life . So I think it's not good to disclose about Ansh to him . His Marriage will get affected" .. ,, Porishma said and ruffled Ansh's curly hairs

"But Porishma, It's Rudra's right to know about his son" .... ,, Asha ji spoke

"I know but what about his wife and her dreams and hopes which will get shattered by this revelation and I don't have any Desire to break their Marriage" .... ,, Porishma said and wiped her tears

"Do whatever you think is better for all of you but still I think that it's wrong to hide this from Rudra . Ansh is his son and Rudra has rights to Ansh and most importantly They need to know about each other" ... ,, Asha ji said and carried Ansh in his arms .

"I'm earning now and have best bosses at the company . I'm able to provide everything that Ansh will need in his life" .... ,, Porishma said and Asha ji Nodded and started to move but stopped at Ansh giggling sounds

"Maa !! Maa !!" ... ,, Little Ansh was waving his hands Infront of Porishma and she smiled looking at him .

"Mera Babu (My baby)" ... ,, Porishma said and gave flying kisses to him . He laughed loudly at his mother .

At the Bride's House , In Rajasthan:-

"Durga!" .... ,, Bride's brother came into her room and saw her how beautiful she was looking in her red bridal Dress

"You are looking beautiful. Behena (sister)" .... ,, Her brother said to her

"Thank You Bhaiya (brother)" ... ,, Durga said and looked down

"Durga ! are you fine with this Marriage right?" ... ,, Her brother asked

"You are asking me now when the time of Marriage is near?"  ... ,, Durga asked annoyingly

"Durga !! You know that your wedding was fixed when you were five with him . Our mothers did this . His mother and our mother were friends and see the irony both are no more in this world" ... ,, Her brother said and she nodded

"That's why I said yes to this Marriage otherwise I never thought that I'll get married at the age of nineteen" ... ,, She said and huffed

His phone rang and he picked up the call and talked to the person .

"Durga ! I'm going outside okay . Just stay here . Baraat (Groom) is in our lane" .... ,, Her brother said and left her alone in the room

She checked herself again and was busy in thinking about her future husband . She saw her glowing face with red cheeks . She looked down shyly and smile .

Her phone started to ring and answered the call .

"Hello?" .... ,, Durga said but she didn't heard opposite side words exactly because baraat sounds were filled her house  . She looked outside of the window and tried to stole glances of the groom . But her trances got broken when she heard what was actually happening around her .

Her call got disconnected and Panick engulfed her senses . She called back and tears Started dropping down of her eyes .

"Nothing will happen to him . I'm coming. just wait for me" .... ,, Durga said and cut the call . She called her brother's phone but he didn't pick it up .

She dialled her father's number same happened with him also . Her hands were shivering and body started to trembling . She tried again and again numbers of her brother and father . She again got a call and she decided to go out of her house .

She wrote a letter and and asked one of the child who was playing outside of her room .

"Give this letter to my father and tell him that it's important" ... ,, Durga said and used back side of the house . She went and hailed a cab. Cab driver was eyeing her from to bottom

"Look forward bhaiya . I'm not an alien that you are oogling with keen interest" ... ,, Durga said bitterly cold .

Soon the cap stopped outside of the hospital and she gave money to the driver and wrapped her body with shawl .

Durga ran Inside the hospital and found the Person she was looking for ..

"Au . Aun . Aunty!" .... ,, Durga said and breath fastly

An elderly Lady saw her and bursted into tears .

"Help ! Durga beta. Help him. He will die. I don't want to lose my son. I don't want to lose any of them" .... ,, Lady said and Durga rubbed her back

"Don't worry aunty I'm here naa . I'll take care of everything" .... ,, Durga said while comforting that lady.

"He needs blood" ... ,, Lady said and Durga nodded

Nurses came and Took her in the ward and she gave blood to the person who was in need of blood . Her blood group and his were the same .

Durga felt dizzy and weakness was overflowing her body but she didn't left hope . Hope for the mother who was crying for her children

"Aunty" ... ,, Durga whispered when she saw the lady who came and tried to touch her feets

"Aunty! What are you doing ? It's wrong . You're elder than me . You're like my mother" ... ,, Durga said and that lady hugged her tightly

"Aunty! He will be fine but where are the others?" .... ,, Durga asked her

"Thank you beta" ... ,, Elderly Lady said

"It's my duty as a human to help others" ... ,, Durga said

"Just tell me Aunty how did this happen ?" ... ,, Durga asked her

"Beta Arhaan and Kaynaat both were going to your wedding and this Accident happened. Doctors admitted both of them into OT . Kaynaat needed blood because of her pregnancy" .... ,, Lady said and Durga gasped

"Kaynaat is pregnant ?" ... ,, Durga asked and lady nodded

"Yes beta ! She is Seventh months pregnant and both were very happy" ... ,, Lady said to her But she didn't say anything to me .

"I'm her best friend aunty . Your daughter in law hides these important things from me" ... ,, Durga spoke as she was angry

"Beta I asked her to not to tell anyone about her pregnancy because of my strong feeling of bad omen ... ,, Lady said and Durga Nodded

"Beta Today's your Marriage please go back beta . Your family will be waiting for you" ... ,, Lady said and Durga's eyes went wide .

Durga gulped down nervously . In all these ruckus she forgot about her own wedding .

Soon the parents of her best friend came and she rushed towards her family .

Durga ran immediately and stood in the center of the hall and found whole house was empty . She saw her father , Brother and few neighbours were there . They were looking down and the color of their faces were fade . Her brother saw her coming towards them and he screamed at her .

"DURGASHAKTI "

She heard a loud booming call and Her steps haulted because it was the first time when her brother screamed at her

Her father saw her and came towards her . He slapped her and tears ran down through her eyes to cheeks . She sniffed and looked at her father .

"Get out of my house" ... ,, Her father said and Her heart thudded loudly . Tears and sweat drops got mixed with each other

Durga understood the whole situation . Her family didn't had any idea about the whole circumstances .

They didn't knew that her best friend and her husband got into an accident . Her best friend was in OT . Doctors were perfoming C - section to protect the baby . Her Brother in Law , husband of her best friend were also in the OT and needed blood that was the reason why she ran for them . She saw the paper airplane was crushedly laid at the floor . She understood that the letter she wrote for her family , they didn't receive. .

Durga's heart cracked not because of the slap but the accusations she saw in her father eyes . Why did her father not believe her? Just because she wasn't in the house at the time of wedding . Her family thought that she ran away because she didn't want to get married?

Durga wiped her tears and took the paper airplane and gave to her father . He took the plane in his hands .

"Papa !! Mere khoon per nahi to apni parwarish per bharosha kar liya hota. (Father not my blood at least you would have trust in your upbringing)" , Durga said loudly and her brother gasped at her words .

Her father's eyes were wide . People started murmuring and whispering about the words she spoke . She left the hall and went to her room . She stripped her wedding dress and wear simple salwar suit . She put back each and every ornaments . She packed her few important belongings and came back again in the hall . Her father and brother saw her carrying a small bag.

"Don't worry I'm not taking your money . I'm just taking my mother's bangles because she gave them to me" .... ,, Durga said Directly to her family and turned around and left her house .

Her father fell down and Durga sobbed loudly and started new journey of her life all alone . Without her brothers and her father .

She left her name DURGA at her house, back in Rajasthan and took only SHAKTI with her . Now DURGASHAKTI was SHAKTI only for the whole world .
