Chapter 21) PERSEPHONE's Breaking HEART

In Rajasthan - India !
"Happy Birthday Durga" ... ,, Shakti's brother wished her and she nodded her head .
Her brother performed a small pooja for her and applied tike on her forehead . She was looking at her brother . Her eyes were moisten and her Emotions were kicking her again and again . She bit her lips just to control the sob.
"Durga ! ! I'm sorry Sister Please forgive me" ... ,, Her brother understood her dilemma .
He stroked her hair and looked at her with concern and guilt. His brother were sad to saw her sister like this .
"I'm sorry. My little Sister. Please forgive your brother" .... ,, Her brother said and she smiled at him .
Shakti hugged her brother tightly and they shed tears for each other .
"Bhaiya ! (Brother) I forgive you and Papa . It's just that I was hurt and I stood for myself , for my self-respect that's it" .... ,, Shakti said and Her Brother understood her words .
Shakti was like this from her childhood . She fought for right and wrong .
"It's Okay Durga. You're like your name DURGA - A Powerful Strong Woman. Who knows how to fight and wipe out the evils" ... ,, Her brother said and she smiled at his words .
"I'm going to make your favourite meals" ... ,, Her brother said and left her alone and Shakti was thinking every deeply .
Days were passing so fast . It's been two months Shakti returned to India for her father whose health wasn't stable . Her heart got broke when she heard about her father's health . Her father was guilty for not trusting his daughter . Her father wanted to apologied to his daughter but Shakti didn't even gave him a chance to talk . She left her house again and again in these past few years .
Shakti entered into her father's room and touched his feets and tears welled up in her eyes .
"Papa ! Today's my birthday . Wish me happiness" ... ,, Shakti said and sat beside him .
Shakti stared at her father who was sleeping peacefully after stealing her peace . She wiped her tears and stood up from the seat and went towards the window .
Shakti was gazing at the dark sky . Her life was started to turned into dark too . At the age of nineteen she got agreed for the Marriage but everything changed because of her one decision .
Shakti was calculating her every steps that where she went wrong in her life . She ran away from her wedding just to save her best friend and her family but lost her family because of this . Her father and brother accused her and she left her house . She met Dhawal and He supported her . But her life took another turned when she met Rudra at one night and after this Rathores brothers gave her opportunity to fulfill her dreams but she wasn't ready to made herself a scapegoat so she used her brain and she left everyone and Dhawal again supported her . She completed her studies and wanted to got a perfect job but now again her life took another twist and She landed to India because her father wasn't healthy . She forgave her family and started to live normally with them again .
But new twist and Turns were waiting for her ... .... ...

One Month Later :-
"Durga ! ! They are here" .... ,, Shakti's father said in his low voice and Shakti nodded .
She knew her father was weak and only smiled for her.
Her father health was now better from past but still he was weak and aging fastly . Her father was restless .
Shakti asked his father and he simply said that he wanted to see her Marriage . Shakti's heart got broken again . In her heart , Rudra was the one who will be her life Partner . She liked him and in these years she got to know one thing that it was not an attraction . She liked him truly from the bottom of her heart but why did she like him when they never spent a single moment of happiness and love together.
Shakti was wearing mustard yellow simple embroidered Lehenga . She wore jhumkas (ear ring) and her brown locks were open . Light minimum make up Made her face to glow like a pearl . She stole a glance of the ring which was shining in her finger . She sighed loudly and went with her father . Her father took her shivering hands in his and squeezed softly . She nodded and smiled at her father .
Shakti understood one thing that Her father's love was Eternal . . .
The boy family members were asking few questions to her and she simply replying in yes and No .
But someone asked her about the ring and Shakti froze at the moment . Shakti looked at her father and he nodded .
Her words got stuck in her throat but her brother handled the situation and gave the answers that It was her favourite ring and got stuck in her finger . They nodded hesitantly and Shakti closed her eyes .
Her Marriage got fixed and everyone accepted Shakti but dropped a bomb in her .
"We want to do an engagement today" .... ,, Groom's mother said to Shakti's father.
"But We're not ready for the engagement" ... ,, Shakti's brother spoke and Shakti was stilled and just hearing the on going conversation .
"We don't need anything else Bhai Sahab (Brother) . We have our ancestors ring with us and we want to do engagement today" .... ,, Groom's father said and Shakti's Brother Nodded
"But still Behen Ji ( ?Sister) we need some time to arrange a few things which are important for the ring ceremony" ... ,, Shakti's father said and Shakti wanted to cry .
"And please try to take out this ring because now you will wear our ancestors ring" ... ,, Groom's mother said and Shakti bit her cheeks .
Tears were threatening her to escape from her eyes.
In one hour, Everything got arranged for the small ring ceremony . Her father and groom's family members asked her to get ready in another beautiful dress but Shakti simply declined that she didn't wanted to change her lehenga .
Priest chanted holy mantras and a small pooja performed for their future . People asked her to remove the ring . Her heart was pounding frantically and she tried to remove the ring but again it didn't came out of her fingers . Tears streamed down through her eyes to cheeks .
They started exchanging rings . Shakti put the ring into boy fingers and everyone clapped and showered flowers petals and rice on them . And now the time of the boy to put the ring on her finger. That boy was about to shoved the ring but door bolted open and everyone got startled by the sudden hindrances . Everyone looked at the Person who was glaring at Shakti .
Shakti heart jumped out and her eyes glued to him .
"What's going on here ?" ... ,, Rudra asked to Shakti's father who stood blankly for few seconds.
