Chapter 40) HADES And His Webs

{This is the flashback When RUDRA went to Rajasthan and slept on the bed of SHAKTI at her father's house}







Shakti was sleeping after gawking at him whole night . Rudra pushed aside her tiny hairs which were disturbing her sleeps . 




Rudra looked at her briefly and sighed loudly . He wore his shirt and came out of her room only to find her father was waiting for him .




Rudra closed his eyes as he groaned mentally and her father signalled him to sit down on the seat and offered him tea but Rudra declined . 




They were staring at each other and didn't know how to start a conversation . 




Her father cleared his throat and looked at him who was looking at the cup of tea like it was the eighth wonder of the World.




"Rudra ji" ... ,, Shakti's father called his name with respect and affection.




"Ji (Yes)" ... ,, Rudra replied as he was a little bit nervous and her father knew about this too.




"I'm sick Rudra Ji . My health is not good . My Son is already married and in a few months he will welcome his first child but I'm worried for Durga . She is alone and after my departure she will be all alone . I don't know what you two talk to each other or think about your future but my days are few and I want to see her married" ... ,, Her father said and sadness was dripping from his words . 




Rudra was observing his words very carefully and he was trying to understand the Emotions of a father who was near to his death.




"I'm looking for a suitable boy for her because I don't know what you are thinking about marriage but I need to marry her off soon" .... ,, Her father said and a bolt of anger ran into Rudra's senses . 




His dark aura were coming out of his body . He was clenching unclenching his hands .




"DurgShakti is Engaged to me" .... ,, Rudra said only this and her father smiled at his Possessiveness 




"I know She is Engaged to you since her childhood . She was Fifteen and I told her about the promises of my wife and your mother but I think it's time to break the promise and marry her to someone else because you are not interested in this alliance. YuvRaaj ji (Rudra's father) is also thinking like me" .... ,, Her father said and Rudra was breathing heavily




"Durga is 27 now and you are 30 so I think it's time for her to get married" .. ,, Her father said and Rudra stood up from his seat and ran his fingers in his hair frustratedly.




"I'm not 30 yet and about the Marriage then I'm ready to marry her . Start the wedding preparations and Inform me of the auspicious date" .... ,, Rudra said and about to marched out of Shakti house but her father's next words stopped him




"But Durga don't want to marry you . I don't know what her problem is but I'm sure she told me clearly that she won't marry you" .. , Shakti's father told Rudra.




Rudra lost his mind when he heard his words . Shakti didn't want to marry him . He smirked mentally and crossed his arms and looked at her father 




"I know how to handle her . You just started the preparation" ... ,, Rudra said and walked out of the house and went to meet his father . 




Rudra announced that he was ready to marry Shakti . Yuvraaj and Piyali were happy to hear this news from him.




Shakti's father smiled and dialled a number and said, "Work is done. Yudhishthir ji. He said that he will marry Durga".




"It's Good Uncle ji . Let's start the preparation but please confirm with Shakti" .... ,, Yudhishthir said as he didn't want to force Shakti for this alliance.




"Ji jarur" (yes sure) ... ,, Her father replied and cut the call

"What did he say ?" ... ,, Yuvaan asked Yudhishthir as he was impatient and wanted to know everything 




"Rudra is ready to marry Shakti".... Yudhishthir said and Samantha jumped out in happiness.




"That's great Yudy . Finally the last one is going to be set soon" ... ,, Yuvaan said and Jyotika and Samantha were smiling too.




"Where is Aashmaan ?" .... ,, Yudhishthir asked them.




"Oh She is in her room talking with Neil" ... ,, Jyothika replied to her husband.




"Hmmm let's toast for happiness" ... ,, Samantha said and all of them stared her 




"What ? Did I say something wrong ?" ... ,, Samantha asked and pouted when everyone were looking at her seriously .




"Call Aashmaan" ... ,, Yudhishthir shook his head and asked Jyotika to call Aashmaan

On the other hand, in Delhi , Rudra was in office and reading the reports of that unknown source who sent morphed pictures to Pashika . 




Pashika cried and threatened Arjun that she will leave because he was cheating on him .




Rudra was trying hard to find that mysterious person who was Messing up with their lives . His phone rang and he saw Shakti calling him . 




A string rang in his heart and he breath deeply and picked it up her call .




"Listen Mr. Rathore I'm not interested in marrying you" ... ,, Shakti said boldly as she was Angry at her father . Rudra put phone away from his ears




When her Father told Shakti that their wedding was fixed . Shakti felt betrayed and dialled Rudra's Number and yelled at him.




"Don't forget DurgShakti with whom you are talking too"... ,, Rudra spatted bitterly at her




"Oh really then tell me what did you talk with my father . Why did he suddenly set a date for our marriage?" ... ,, Shakti said Angrily




"Oh Because I told him to fix the date that's why"... ,, Rudra said casually 




"What's going in your dark mind Mr . Rathore ?" ... ,, Shakti breath deeply and trying to calm herself down 




"You do not love me . You love someone else then why are you marrying me ?" ... ,, Shakti asked him.




"Just shut your mouth and don't forget who I am ?" .... ,, Rudra said and cut the call . 




Shakti was gapping like a fish and screamed loudly. 




"Rudra ! You are messing with the wrong girl" ... ,, Shakti said and gritted her teeth 




Rudra was frustrated the way Shakti talked to him and he wanted to ease his mind . From past few days he was restless . First Neil was madly searching Aashmaan and on the other side, someone was sending threat letters to Arjun . 




And now Rudra also got a threat call that he would lose his closed one . He was keeping his eyes on every member of his family .
