Chapter 8) BIRTH & DEATH

MOMPI was in her first trimester and her parents got to knew about her that she was living with Porishma and she was pregnant too without wedlock and they came and took her back to Kolkata .
They beat her mercilessly but Mompi Protect her baby . Her parents set up her Marriage with an old hag just to protect their names , so called prestige . Mompi was scared and some how she called Porishma and She came to Kolkata and rescued her from being sold to old perverted man . It was very risky plan for Porishma and Mompi both but Porishma did for her friends and for their baby .
Porishma and Mompi came back to Delhi and changed their house and chose the most crowded area for their safety . Mompi asked Asha ji to help her friend . Asha ji was a kind lady , a widower and no kids . Asha ji chose to helps these two lady .
One day when Mompi was in her fifth month of pregnancy . She suffered from an immense stomach pain . She clutched her tummy and screamed . Asha ji and Porishma saw her and got scared . They immediately admitted her in the hospital . Doctors rans test and they informed Porishma that she was suffering from stomach Cancer . Porishma's world shattered to knew about her friend .
Porishma asked doctors how it was possible for her to suffered so much from the cancer . Then doctor explained her that Mompi knew about her disease but she chose her baby instead of treatment . Porishma broke down and cursed herself for this situation .
PORISHMA met Mompi who had a sad smile on her face and tears in her eyes.
"Are you angry at me ?" ... ,, Mompi asked Porishma when they came back from the hospital and Porishma was giving her silent treatment
"M ! I'm going to Inform Rudra about your situation" ... ,, Porishma said straightforwardly
"No ! No ! D ! Please, don't say anything to him . He is in his training session. He will definitely leave his training and come back to me and i don't want this to happen" ... ,, Mompi said as she shook her head continuously
"Then what do you want to do? You're sick very sick . Suffering from cancer and pregnant too . Doctors can't give you treatment because hard strong medicine will effect the baby . Do you understand what I'm saying to you ?" ... ,, Porishma screamed at Mompi .
Asha ji shook her head after knowing Everything.
"I'll get my treatment after giving birth to my ANSH" .. ,, Mompi said while her hand was on her stomach.
"ANSH?" .. ,, Porishma asked confusedly
"Yes ! My Son. ANSH ! A part of me and the part of Rudra. Our son" ... ,, Mompi said and cried loudly.
Asha ji embraces Mompi and gives a look to Porishma.
"Then you'll not inform him about your baby? He'll hate me if he gets to know that I lied to him" ... ,, Porishma said seriously as there was a nagging feeling in her heart.
"He won't you know him . He is a softy. I know him. He can't hate you. He will never hate. He is the most mature, sensible and understanding man" .. ,, Mompi said and smiled widely at Porishma .
Porishma shook her head negatively.
Porishma helped Mompi . She supported Mompi in her mood swings , her harmones were at peak but she handled her carefully with love and cares . Their bond was strong and got stronger because of the baby , Ansh .
Time flew as Mompi was in her seventh Month of Pregnancy :-
At one day, MOMPI screamed suddenly and Asha ji marched into her room and saw her crying .
"PORISHMA" ... ,, Asha ji called Porishma and she came running into Mompi room
"What happened ?" .. ,, Porishma asked and supported Mompi
"It's Hurt. It's Hurting D" ... ,, Mompi said and screamed loudly again
They took her to the hospital and Doctors said that she was in her labor pain . Asha ji and Porishma both were scared because she was in her seventh Month of Pregnancy .
Doctors suggested C - section otherwise cancer will harm the baby . Porishma Nodded and prayed for their safety . Asha ji did the formalities . After one and half hour nurse came with a baby wrapped in a blue blanket and Porishma held him in her arms and kissed his forehead .
"ANSH" .. ,, Porishma said and tears fell from her eyes
"Doctor his mother ?" ... ,, Porishma asked the doctor
"We won't lie to you but prepare yourself for the worst . She won't have much time with her . She concieved in her disease God knows how and baby is safe and healthy too but his mother is not good . Her health will fall rapidly after this and it's too late for the treatment also" ... ,, Doctor explained Mompi situation to Porishma and She Cried while hugging ANSH .

Mompi was clutching her son near to her heart . Tears were running down from her eyes . Ansh was drinking milk from her mother . Mompi felt completed after looking at her Ansh . Porishma took thousands of pictures in this last month of Mompi . Porishma was making memories of Mother and Son and their last moment .
"D ! If Rudra got to knew about my death then please support him . If he will get married to any girl then support him in this also" . . ,, Mompi said as her eyes were on ANSH
"And what about Ansh ?" ... ,, Porishma questioned her
"Tell him about Ansh when the right time will come and now Ansh is your responsibility . I'm dieing and I'm sorry that I used your name . My parents will harm Ansh . Do whatever you think best for you and most importantly for our Ansh . You're his Mother now D" ... ,, Mompi said while her eyes were on her Ansh who was busy drinking milk and Porishma gave a small smile to her .
"I'll protect him from all the evil eyes M . It's my words to you . I'm his MAA (mother) now" .. ,, Porishma said and they embraced each other and after one month of giving birth to ANSH.
Mompi died because of Cancer which quickly spread in other organs of her body .
Now Porishma was all alone with her Son , ANSH .......
