They are your guests
Chapter Eleven
They Are Your Guests Not Mine
"Of course of course! I know that I made the right decision to ask you to come here! I'm sure that you and Hailey are going to have a good time since you were such good friends in the past" Kent replied to Hailey.
Boris could only be quiet as he glared at Hailey. Mike plastered a smile on his face.
"It's always been seven years! Hailey and Boris are still the same. You don't know but the both of them used to have a love hate relationship. They were always arguing with each other but still they stuck to each other!" Mike said. He wasn't lying though. Even he can guess than there's something between them. Why can't the both of them see it?
Sydney laughed at this. She still remembered clearly. The both of them always seemed to want to kill each other. But they always stuck together anyway.
"Yes, yes you are right. I remember Hailey complaining about a classmate called Boris whom she hated a lot. She said that she hated him but she was always talking about him anyway. I remember that she once told me that she will definitely kill him if murder was not a crime!" Sydney said. These memories were really fun for her. In a blink of an eye, these kids who were on each other's throats had already grown up.
Hailey frowned as she narrowed her eyes, glaring at everyone in the room.
"Just so you know, that still stands" Hailey said. She will definitely murder him if murder wasn't a crime!
All through the years, the hate that she had for Boris never subsided. She didn't think about it because she never thought she will be seeing Boris again.
Since Hailey was in her own house, she was free to say whatever she wants.
For Boris who could not say anything, he was filled with anger and no where to vent it at.
"Hailey, is this how you treat your guests?!" Kent yelled at Hailey. She was really starting to annoy him.
Hailey shrugged. She personally had nothing against Mike but since he's Boris friend he can't be a good person either.
"They are your guests not mine" Hailey reminded het father.
Sydney saw that she had to step in to diffuse this situation so she laughed dryly.
"Kent, didn't you say that you were going to cook for Hailey? Now that there are three more people here, you will have to cook more dishes. Come inside let me help you with the dishes" Sydney suggested.
Sydney thought that she will leave Boris and Hailey to solve thier differences themselves.
"No, no, no, I don't need you to help me with the cooking. I can definitely do something as simple as this on my own. I just need you to take Mike and Boris to the rooms and see if there is anything that you can clean up there. We clean the rooms everyday but because no one actually lives inside, we don't know if it's livable or not. See if there's anything that needs mending. They are going to be staying here for a few days after all. We have to let the both of them feel comfortable" Kent was so excited that he had already forgotten about his daughter making him angry.
Hailey was frustrated at the over enthusiasm of her parents..she is thier daughter so why is she treated like an outsider? Are Mike and Boris thier sons?! Don't they get the hint that she hates the both of them?
"Wait , why do we need to take the both of them in? It's not like they don't have somewhere else for them to live! It's enough for them to eat free food here, how can they stay in our house for free!?!" Hailey was appalled. How can she live with them?
"We are actually not staying for free, we will be paying rent" Mike chipped in. Seeing Boris and Hailey still acting like cats and dogs made him happy.
Mike had a cheeky grin on his face and Sydney glared at him. She suddenly found Mike even more annoying than Boris.
"I'll go make the dishes. Sydney, you go make sure that the rooms are perfect" Kent offered.
"Yes, yes of course I'll do just that" Sydney said.
Sydney dragged Mike away from the living room, purposely leaving Boris.
In just a few seconds, Boris and Hailey were the only ones left in the room.
The both of them glared at each other angrily.
"What are too doing here?! What is your plan? I'm warning you, don't even think about staying here! Just take your stuff and get lost right now!" Hailey demanded.
"I can assure you that I don't want to stay here either! I don't even want to have lunch with her! Do you think that I'll be here if Mike didn't force me?!" Boris fired back.
"Do you really expect me to believe that?! Mike is your manager, how can he control you? You had better talk about why you are really here!" Hailey said. She didn't believe that it was all a concidence.
Boris was annoyed when he thought about it. Mike is bis manager but he's always controlling him!
"Anyway, whatever the reason is, you should know that it doesn't have anything to do with you! I don't want to have anything to do with you and I don't want to be in the same place with you either! Heaven knows that I still hate you as much as I did in high school!" Boris said. He never felt bad about bullying Hailey. He only felt that she deserved it!
"Ha! Heaven knows that the feeling is mutual! I'll never hate you any less! Look, since you've already made it clear that you don't want to live here, then don't! Just do me a favor, get your friend manager or whoever he is to you and get out of this place right now!" Hailey retorted.
Boris who didn't want to stay suddenly considered staying because Hailey said that it will be a Favour for her.
"Are you saying that if I leave right now it will be doing you a favour?"
