The beginning of the end

Hailey did not stop. She flung the door open, but there was someone else standing outside who was just preparing to knock.



"Mr. Clark, why are you here?" she asked in shock.



Jonas smiled at her. He was going to say something but Sydney came running out along with Boris.



"Hailey! Are you alright?" Sydney called out to her daughter. But then she saw that someone else was here. She looked at the man wearily.



"Who is this Hailey?" Sydney asked.



Hailey was still trying desperately to wrap her head around everything that was going on. She and Boris have hated each other for so many years because of Eva.



Boris likes her and she....she likes him, Besides, her colleague from work who definitely likes her is here to look for her. What is going on?



Hailey felt like her head was going to explode from all of this.



Jonas smiled at Sydney. He could tell that she was Hailey's mother because the both of them lolled alike. He was curious about Boris who was looking intently at Hailey but he didn't ask.



"Hi. You're Hailey's mom right? I'm her colleague. I came here to ..." Jonas was going to state why he was here but Hailey recovered herself and stood in front of him.



"You should not be here. What are you doing right now?" She asked him.



Jonas smiled sweetly at Hailey. "I told you. If you don't have a boyfriend by the time your vacation ends, then you'll have to give me a chance. I came here to make sure that you won't be with someone else. I'll be living in the hotel downtown. I just....want to make you see that I'm the person who really loves you" Jonas said.



None of them were expecting to hear this confession. Hailey had an impassive look on her face. Sydney was embarrassed and Boris was seething in anger.



Boris had gotten over the fact that he and Hailey were tricked for so long. Now he just wanter to be with her.



"Hailey...why don't we invite your friend in first?" Sydney asked. Although a lot of things have happened, she didn't want to talk about them in front of someone that she doesn't know. But he is a guest too, so they have to be polite and invite him in.



Hailey however, refused.



"No mom, he's not coming in. Mr. Clark, I already said that I don't like you"



"And I said that I won't give up". Jonas said persistently.



Boris finally couldn't take it anymore. He grabbed Hailey's hand and pulled her to himself.



"You said you'd give up if she has a boyfriend right? Well, she does, I'm her boyfriend" Boris says.



Everyone looks at Boris in shock but he doesn't care. He grabs Hailey's shoulder and makes her face him.



"Hailey, our relationship is already seven years late. I really like you and I know that you like me too. Let's be together" Boris said.



Immediately he said this, he bent down and kissed Hailey fiercely.



At first, Hailey was stiff because she didn't how to respond to him. But she soon found herself invested in the kiss.



As the both of them kissed each other, Hailey knew that they won't be leaving each other. She has found her love.
