Chapter Six

Eva really felt that when her mother gets married again and she becomes the stepdaughter of Odessa's father, she will have everything and even more than Odessa had. But her fantasy was shattered in a few weeks. She ended up developing a distorted mindset. 




She was on the verge of losing her mind. Now that Eva had said that she did not care about the man that she went through so much to steal, she was angry. 




Vincent finally could not stand Eva. He was regretting ever getting involved with her. He had lost Odessa because of her! 




Vincent raised his hand and slapped Eva hard across the face. 




"How dare you, Eva! What has Hailey ever taken away from you? You are the one who is jealous of the life that Hailey has, and you want to steal it from you! Because she did not give you a chance, you are angry! "Your mind is twisted!" Vincent yelled. How did he get involved with such a woman?




Vincent still had hopes of getting back together with Odessa, so he put on a good show of standing up for her. 

He knew that he had to do everything to win her back, or else that would really be the end of him. His grandfather will never trust him again.

Odessa could already see what Vincent was trying to do, but she did not buy it. She was disgusted with his antics.




Odessa just decided to take the time that she spent on her relationship with Vincent as a waste. She knew that she would never take back such a useless man! 




"Eva, you can think whatever you want." I don't care. Whatever helps you sleep at night, I guess. It has nothing to do with me. You can go ahead and imagine. If you think that I stole things from you, go ahead and think that! But let me remind you, Eva! He is my father! You are at most a charity case in our house! My dad doesn't see anything wrong with feeding and clothing an extra person! So don't you take everything for granted!" Odessa said. She will never let an ungrateful woman like Odessa talk ill about her father. 




Odessa knew that her words were going to annoy Eva, but that was exactly what she wanted to do! It would be best if she was angered to death. 




"It's exactly because of that! Because he's your father and my stepfather, he should dote on me more than you! He should give me the things that you don't have! Didn't he marry my mom because he loved her? Your mother is already dead anyway! "Since he married a woman with a child, he should treat the child better than the child of his dead wife!" Eva said. She seemed to have lost her mind. Her mother told her that her new father would dote on her. But the opposite happened!




Both Vincent and Odessa were speechless when they heard Eva's words. They both rightly felt that Eva is crazy. Only a crazy person will be able to come up with such distorted thoughts!




"Eva, you are crazy! I must have been blind! How did I ever get involved with a crazy woman like yourself? "You've lost your mind!" Vincent yelled. How did she even come up with such a conclusion? Her brain is obviously messed up!




Vincent never cared about the kind of woman that Eva is. He just wanted to sleep with her. He will say bad things about Odessa from time to time just to make her feel better. 




To Vincent, Eva was just an idiot that he used to pass the time. He obviously would not put in much effort into her and try to figure out what was going on in her mind. He had no idea that she was so twisted. 




"I'm not crazy! Everything that I said is the truth! Her mother is already dead! My mom is the person that Kent Johnson married! He is the person who is going to spend the rest of her life with him! Why can't he give me everything? "Why does he treat the child of a dead woman so well?" Eva yelled. She should have all the love. Why does Odessa get treated so poorly by everyone?




Odessa raised her hand to slap Eva hard across the face. She made sure to slap her where Vincent hit her, so Eva's face was like a pig's head now. 




"Don't you ever talk about my mom again! Your mother, who is a slut, can never compare to her! You want the things that I have! Alright, if you have the ability, then you can come and take it away from me! He is my dad! He will always do whatever he thinks is best for me! Odessa yelled. Although she lost her mother at a young age, her father never let her suffer. How can she let an obviously deranged woman say whatever nonsense she wants?




"And as for you, Vincent, I wish the both of you a happy married life! My grandfather is already sick, so I don't want to agitate him. You had better make up a reason for the breakup! For your information, I already recorded your curious performance! I wonder how your grandfather will react if he knows that his precious grandson is fooling around on the night before his wedding! "Think it through properly!" Odessa said. She didn't want her grandfather to be agitated, so she made up a reason for the breakup. 




"And as for you, Eva, think carefully before you try to provoke me from now on!" I know that you are trying to take the lead role away from me for the drama that I got. I don't care what you do or who you sleep with, but from now on, you had better stay far, far away from me. Don't try to do anything or pull any more tricks! If you do, I'll release the video that I have to the entire world. "Even if you sleep with everyone on the production crew, I can assure that you'll never be able to survive as an actress after it." Odessa yelled. She didn't see why she should let herself be pushed around by Eva. They no longer have a superficial relationship between them.
