Perfect opportunity

Chapter Two







Vincent was surprised to see Odessa, but Eva was satisfied. Her plan worked. Odessa finally found out the truth. She was looking forward to the show. 




Eva was waiting for Odessa to break down crying from this betrayal, but Odessa didn't do that. Instead, she was looking at the cheating couple with a confident look on her face. 




The first thing that Vincent thought when he saw Odessa was that he was finished. 




Vincent never thought of breaking up with Odessa. For one thing, she is the woman his grandfather approved of for him. And he really did like Odessa. 




Odessa continued to look at the cheating pair with a triumphant look on her face. She did not look like someone who had been cheated on. Hailey had always been arrogant. Her pride was deep down in her bones. She will never let anyone look down on her. 




   Odessa This is a misunderstanding. This... I can explain to you! 




Vincent really didn't want to break up with Odessa.




"You want to explain?" Alright, go ahead and explain. "Tell me why the both of you are in bed together right now," Odessa said coldly. She wanted to see the both of them make fools of themselves. 




Odessa was still smiling. But her smile was so bone-chilling that it made Vincent and Eva shiver. 

Eva looked at Odessa and tried to find any signs of sadness on her face, but she could not find anything. She had always hated this attitude of Odessa. She acted like she was better at everything and that no one was as good as her. It was really annoying for Eva to look up to Hailey for her entire life. 




Hailey and Odessa did not share the same mother. Odessa's mother has already died, and Eva's mother married Hailey's father.




Eva was her mother's daughter from a previous marriage. Eva thought that her new stepfather would give her everything that his daughter has and even more, but she was wrong. 




Odessa's father loved her more than anything. Except for her surname, he never gave her everything that she wanted. 




Eva wanted to compete with Odessa, so she became an actress like Odessa. But no matter how hard she tried, she could not take over Odessa. 




She could only play supporting roles in other dramas besides Odessa. Eva decided to humiliate Odessa by stealing her boyfriend. 




She was hoping that Odessa would be heartbroken when she saw this scene, but Eva found out that she was wrong. 




Once again, she had underestimated Odessa. 




"Odessa, this is a misunderstanding." I can explain! Vincent and I... Eva did not get to complete her words. 




Odessa did not let Eva finish. She immediately cut in. 




"Oh, it's a misunderstanding?" That the both of you are sleeping with each other behind my back is a misunderstanding? Is it a misunderstanding that you sent me a text an hour ago using Jonas' phone and told me that you wanted to see me here? Didn't you text me because you wanted to show me that you were sleeping with the man that I was going to get married to tomorrow? Didn't you want to show me off? Go on. Go ahead and show off all you want. "What are you still waiting for?" Odessa asked. She had already known what Eva was planning to do. Too bad Eva has never been a match for her. She can play Eva to death, and Eva wouldn't even know that it's her. 




When Odessa received the text from Vincent, she already knew that something was wrong. She just never expected that the culprit was Eva. 

Odessa knew that Vincent was a coward who was scared of his grandfather. He will never do anything that will make his grandfather angry. 




So the best guess was Eva. She wanted to stop the two of them from getting a marriage certificate. 




Odessa wanted to laugh at this cheap ploy. Does Eva really think that she will be sad because of a scumbag like Vincent? 




Eva was surprised to see Odessa so confident. She was even more surprised that Odessa did not seem like someone who had been cheated on at all. 




Once again, Odessa had the entire situation under her control. 




"I really, really didn't text you, Odessa! I didn't! I admit that I've done something wrong to you... I'll apologize to you. I'm sorry, alright? I should not have done this! But I never wanted to come in between your relationship! Eva said. Now that her plan had fallen through, she knew that she couldn't fight against Odessa. At least not without a full-proof plan. 




Eva's strong point has always been acting pitiful and crying. She immediately started crying as if she had been bullied. 




Odessa wasn't in the mood to play the blame game with Eva. 




"Oh, so you aren't the one who sent the message?" You never wanted to ruin my relationship? Who was the person who said that she is in love with Vincent and that she doesn't want to keep hiding? You aren't the one who texted me? I still have the text message on my phone. "Are you telling me that Vincent is the one who sent me a text message?" Odessa didn't even want to spare the time to play games with Eva and Vincent.




Odessa knows that Jonas is a coward and that he will never do something like that. 




When Vincent sees the guilty look on Eva's face, he immediately knows that he has been played. He never wanted to take Eva seriously anyway. 




Vincent was already thinking of ways that he could abandon her, and this was the perfect opportunity. 




Vincent immediately jumped down from the bed. He was only wearing a pair of boxers. He tried to grab Odessa's hand, but she shoved him away. 

"Hailey... Hailey, please forgive me this once. I've never been serious about Eva. You are the person that I really love, and you are the person that I want to get married to. We are going to collect our marriage certificate tomorrow. This must be Eva's plan! Yes, this is her plan; she doesn't want the both of us to get married! "We must not fall for her lies!" Vincent begged. Anyway, his true intention had never been to break up with Odessa. He was just playing with Eva.
