Chapter 16: News of the War

"Oh my God! God! This is like a gift from God to us!" Amber said to Katie.
"Yes, my dear, you once told me that you wanted to stay with William all the time, and now this opportunity is simply for you! Don't you worry, I'll tell my uncle to help you become a 'military expert'!" Katie raised her eyebrows and looked at Ambow very proudly. Amber nodded vigorously, but her heart was still hiding her secret.
"Honey, you were wonderful this morning! The king went back with a very hard look on his face." Ambow took Katie's hand and complimented her.
"Oh! Please don't compliment me like that! I would be shy. If you hadn't come to me out of the blue last night and told me about this opportunity, I'm afraid I wouldn't have been so clever as to let William see Gina in such an ugly light! You are my savior!"
Mrs. Mary, listening to the side, was a little confused and did not know what they were talking about.
"Honey, what are you talking about?" Mrs. Mary asked Katie.
"Dear Madam, because of the information Miss Ambow told me last night, I was able to go to Gina's room and make a mess today when William was about to arrive at the Golden Hall! William would have hated her when he saw it!"
"Yes, the king came back at noon with an angry face and threw away the roses that were going to be given out," Ambow said.
Katie's hands were clenched, her expression exaggerated, and she looked as if she had just punished the world's worst bad guy.
"Of course, it all awaits the return of the king, we have everything set up, Gina will be thrown out of the royal family, and I will be the next Luna!" Katie still kept imagining the bright future she would have.
Amber looked at Gina with a slight smile on her face, but in her mind, she was planning something of her own.
The next day, shocking news to all Red night clan people came from the battlefield, Alpha William was trapped at the foot of Stokey peak, they fought with Night clan and were trapped in a circle of Night clan warriors because they were too few and reinforcements did not arrive that night.
Katie called Ambow just after 5:00 am.
"What to do? Honey, what to do? Oh! God! My dear Lord William is now in danger of his life, and while I am still at home enjoying sweet dreams, my dear Lord William is surrounded on the battlefield! Oh my God! I can hardly imagine what my dear William is like now, whether he has not eaten all night, and has not slept all night, until now. Oh! Yes! It's morning already! He must not be able to eat breakfast either. That dreadful Night clan must not give William breakfast! What a bastard!"
"Oh! Honey! I'm feeling panicky, tell me quick, what do I do now? Oh, God! My heart hurts like it's on fire, frozen, and cut by a knife! Honey! What shall we do?"
Amber didn't say a word, just listened to Katie's confusing language as she set her phone aside, knowing this would go on for about half an hour with Katie.
Amber wakes up leisurely in the meantime and has breakfast, and when she starts cleaning she finds Katie still talking.
"Oh! Honey! Do we need to go save him? Oh! No! That's a battlefield, where women can't go! Then can we call William and ask if he's okay? Oh, no! No! That would disturb William, and maybe he's about to kill that darned Night clan, Alpha Barnett!
After Ambow cleaned up William's room, she started cleaning the patio and when everything was done, Katie kept talking.
Amber picked up the phone and said something like, "You can ask your uncle what to do."
Katie immediately stopped her wild guesses and said with great gratitude, "Yes! Honey, you're so smart! I'll have to ask him! Thank you for listening to me so much! I'll love you forever!"
Hanging up the phone, Ambow went back to her room and changed into Luna's clothes again which she wore yesterday, and went to the garden behind the golden hall because she still had some work to do, she didn't think William would fail so easily, Aldridge had told her during the White night clan that William was the best Alpha among these clans.
As Ambow was walking to the garden, Katie called again, "Honey, guess what? Uncle just told me that William will be back soon! Because that dreadful Gina helped William through the danger, although she is annoying! But seeing as she saved my William, I might give her an extra dollar later to make her wandering life a little better!"
Ambow's admiration for Gina arose when she heard her helping William through a difficult time, and she thought to herself, "At least that skinny Luna will be more worthy of your love than this noisy woman now, Lord William, but I'm the perfect companion for you!"
"That's fantastic! Sweetie! So we have to hurry! After all, the King is coming back! And our plans are about to begin!"
"Oh! Yes! Bastard! I was so happy that I forgot this most important thing! That damn Gina, I'll show her what I'm up to!"
"Then let's follow the steps we discussed before!"
"Yes, dear Miss Ambow! Good luck!"
"You too!"
William's POV
After receiving the message from Jason, I stepped up my patrols. Although Jason said that reinforcements would arrive this evening, I knew that such speed was only the fastest and that the various situations that would likely arise on the road would hinder their speed.
I was mentally prepared for all of this.
At 8 pm, I received a message from Jason telling the military expert that arrangements had been made and that if we encountered an attack before reinforcements arrived, we must hold out until the early hours of the morning, at which time reinforcements would surely arrive!
At nine o'clock, the roar of the Night clan hordes came from the distance and I knew we had an early attack. I told Jason to help me settle Ambow and Gina if I failed. it was now at least three hours before dawn and I told the warriors that if we could hold out for three hours, we would be victorious!
The morale of the warriors was very high and all possessed the mood of waiting for hope and fought desperately for it.
We fought late into the night, exhausted, but with half an hour until reinforcements arrived, the enemy's numbers were rising and we had less than a thousand fighters left.
Just when we were about to hold out, we heard a roar in the distance like the roaring of the sea, it was our Red night clan reinforcements, no! More than that! And the soldiers of the White night clan!
Soldiers' mood instantly excited, half an hour earlier than expected, I just want to solve this battle as soon as possible at this point, go back to meet this military expert! He is the baby I have longed for!
The rest of the battle became much easier. Our reinforcements far outnumbered the enemy's troops, and their soldiers were extremely frightened by this, so we broke their formation from the inside and killed them with all our might, working with the reinforcements outside.
Within an hour, the enemy army was disrupted, they no longer had a neat line, Barnett had long since fled, the soldiers were surrounded by us, some surrendered, some committed suicide, I left all this to Orston who was leading the reinforcements, as I just wanted to get to the rescue of Forsford as soon as possible.
I led a thousand warriors, looking at the location of Forsford's phone in the phone, and found Night clan abandoned tent, I found Forsford in a very dilapidated tent.
He was covered in blood and his breath was very weak. I had the doctor resuscitate and bandage him, and I prayed for him that he would be okay.
Everything was ready and I messaged Jason with the news of the victory, I'm sure he and the military experts were very worried!
I buried the fallen soldiers at the foot of Stokey peak and held a solemn ceremony, I was proud of them and I recorded their names one by one to go back and appease their families.
After all these arrangements were made, it was nine o'clock the next day and we departed back to our colony.
It took three hours, and we finally saw our familiar hometown, I simply had to burst into tears, it was hard to imagine just one night, but I felt as if a century had passed, it was a battle between life and death, I just want to see the military expert now and thank him face to face!
When I arrived at the barracks, Jason was already waiting at the gate to greet me early.
"Oh! Dude! Damn lucky! I got to see you again!" I hugged Jason tightly.
Jason was delighted, "My dear King! It was thrilling, thank God for your safe return!"
"Yes! Thanks to our dear military expert, of course! Where is he? Quickly let me see him!"
"King, it's her."
I was surprised at Jason's words, "See? Her!" Surprisingly, it was a woman!
"Oh! Oh my God! This ...... I can't believe it! Oh my God! Where is she, please?" My heart was a little mixed, I'd never seen such an amazing woman so well versed in military matters! She tickled my interest.
"King, she has left, she won't tell who she is, she says she will see her as soon as the king returns to his home! She wants to see you in person."

I couldn't contain my excitement any longer and rushed to hug her! Embrace my dear love!
"Is that you? My dear, the military expert who worries about me and gives her all for me!" I hugged her tightly, desperately trying to hold her inside me.
"King." Her voice trembled and she cried, "King, it's so good that you're okay! Do you know how much I was worried about you? I watched Lord Jason's phone all night, I was so worried about you! I was afraid of losing you, I was afraid of putting you in trouble because of my mistake, I was afraid ......"
I kissed her lips, sharing her warmth; my tongue slipped into her mouth, feeling her sweetness; my hands wrapped around her waist, caressing her body with abandon.
