Chapter 25 Shirley leaves Horsford

The sun shone right on her body, I could not see her face, but I could feel her emotions, it was anger.
She came towards me and I gradually got a better look at her face and it was Katie!
The look on her face reminded me of the day she first came to me, and I sensed that things weren't that simple.
"You abominable woman! Why were you not present at the ritual? You're Luna! You're the Luna! That bitch is just a gift from the White night clan! Why did she show up at the ritual? Why did she show up at William's side in Luna's dress? You stupid woman! Why did you let her beat you so easily?"
Katie yelled at me with reckless abandon as she grabbed my collar and spit in my face, her voice so loud and fast that I could barely hear what she was saying.
"Why don't you say anything? You fucking woman! That bitch Ambow has no business being in Luna's place, and after you die, only I can be the next Luna! I asked my uncle to help him become a military expert, but just to become a military expert! Why would William fall in love with her?" Katie grabbed her head, like a madman who had lost his mind, and shouted while smashing the things in my room.
As I looked at Katie and heard her words, I finally understood the reason for everything. Although William didn't like me after we got married, he would respect me and would think about my future. But, since Ambow came along, William has changed completely!

I stood up to gather my things and heard the sound of a vehicle outside the front door, I knew it was the end of the ceremony, I stood in the doorway of my room and saw William very gentlemanly pulling Ambow out of the car, the two kissed each other and went back inside the mansion arm in arm.
Immediately after William saw me, the smile on his face disappeared and a look of disgust appeared on his face. Ambow beside him greeted me warmly, but it seemed to me that this was just mockery and an expression of his victory.
I turned around and went back to my room to continue packing. If this scene was seen by William, he would think that I was angry again for not attending the ceremony this time, and I didn't want him to think that it would deepen the conflict between us and would make him want to abolish me even more, I simply want to keep my position of Luna.
Sure enough, just after I cleaned up my room, William appeared at the door of my room, looking serious, but not angry.
"Gina, you better do what a Luna should do, this time, although Ambow helped you to attend the ceremony, the real Luna is still you, at least these days still, I do not want you to appear in any situation again, and let King Adolf notice."
I understood that William had come to request me, he was unsure of me and he wanted me to listen.

"That would be best!"
William finished and left. I don't know if my words had any effect on him, but I could feel that William's attitude toward me had changed a bit.
I felt a little happy that he didn't refute what I just said, does that mean I can work a little harder to gain his trust and then keep my position as Luna?

Shirley in Forsford's home for him to do psychological relief during the two meet three times a day, sometimes for treatment of the condition, but most of the time is to exchange their stories with each other, Forsford learned Shirley's tragic childhood, Shirley knows Forsford has brilliant combat achievements.
Horsford will feel sad about Shirley's fate, Shirley will feel proud of Forsford's battle! Shirley walked upstairs and called Gina's name softly, but there was no answer. It was now 7:00 p.m. and the golden hall was dark. Shirley thought Gina had fallen asleep because she knew her sister and sometimes slept with the light on because she was afraid of the dark.
Shirley gently pushed open the door and saw a person sitting at the dresser. Shirley didn't think much of it and assumed that person was Gina.
"Honey, I came to see you, I just called your name at the door and no one answered, I thought you must have gone to sleep, I didn't expect to be putting on makeup, when did you become such a beauty lover?"
Shirley turned to close the door, suddenly, she felt a stabbing pain in her back, a dagger stabbed directly into her back, she did not have time to dodge.
