Chapter 13 The End Part I

Many years ago at the guild a young Necro was looking up at the five gates, he was in a small cloak and was no more then Nova s age. He walked though the five gates and in to the court yard where he was greeted by Miss Bella.
"Who are you?" she asked.
"Chris." he said.
"Well, welcome to the guild, what magic are you here to learn."
"Necromancy."
"We have no one here who can teach you, but you are welcome to stay and read up on the books and learn other magic.." she said as she put an arm on his shoulder to comfort him.
"Thank you." he replied.
The two walked towards the towers and inside to get him signed up.
Later in one of the class class rooms he was sitting alone as he poured over a necromancy text book. He kept looking to the book and to the open space as he kept
trying to recreate what he was reading. As he was bale to bring a body up from the ground he knew he was on his way, and he kept in on turning to the next page as and kept reading.
As the time passed he had learnt much more magic and when he thirteen he was still poring over the book practising for his trail to prove his power. He showed great power and control as he had not learnt to fear but except his gift, as he raised and sank the dead back and fourth he stopped when he had seen in his extensive use had knocked the black board loose and it had swung off a corner. In a fit on panic ha raced over but as he got closer he saw that inside where magic items, stashed away.
"How are things going?" asked Miss Bella as she walked in.
He spun around as she entered.
"What are you doing." she called racing over.
"I m sorry." he said.
"Those are to be kept a secret, no one can know." she said as she used magic to fix it back up.
"Why?" asked Necro as he walked over to her.
"Magic is power and power can lead to corruption to ensure that they stay safe I created vault to in case anyone he goes after them and as a safeguard I keep them hidden where no one would look." she explained.
"So no one knows they re there." said Necro.
"No and it must stay that way."
"I under stand."
"Now, we need to get you ready to show off your magic." she smiled and guided him out of the class room.
In the hall he stood before the four members he was showing off his magic in elemental and Necromancy combined as practice for both. The four looked and spoke amongst themselves before they spoke up.
"I m sorry." said Miss Bella. "But with out knowledge of necromancy, non of us can truly give you pass."
"So what?" he asked.
"You flunk." she said sadly.
"I understand, but thank you for all that you have given me." he said before walking out.
Miss Bella was distort but was forced to see the next pupil a good friend of his.
Out side he was walking under the five arches on his way back as he passed under the last one, looking up he saw a shadow in front of him, it was of course the Necromancer of the tomb his father.
"What do you want father?" he asked.
"I ve back for you." he said.
"Come back you left me with my Grandfather the tyrant."
"I m sorry but I needed to know you where safe." he protested.
"Safe, that man rules the under world with a Dragon soul, you thinks that s safe." he shouted "He sent me here to magic to teach the others to make them even more powerful."
He was speechless "I can t undo what I have done, but I ve founded a place we can hide away from him we can be safe there."
"No, not with what he plans to do, no on it safe, I m going to bring an end to him and his rule."
"You can t you but one soul."
"I have a dragon form, and ounce I have mastered my powers enough I will travel there and end his rule., but first must find a Dragon." he finished and tried walking past him.
"You can t do this."
"Why." he asked.
He juts flapped his hands and shrugged his head, Necro tried to leave but was caught by his fathers hand.
"Son please." he begged
"Your lots your right to call me that when you let him kill my mother and abandoned me."
He fell to his knees as his son pulled himself free, the two looked at each other but as they did someone came to his aid, Miss Bella flew over and landed behind them at the gate.
"Leave him." she insisted.
"Mother." said the Necromancer.
"You can t force him to do anything."
"What." said Necro.
"Go be free," she said.
"What did he call you."Necro grunted.
"I don t understand." said Miss Bella.
"Your his mother." he said truing waving a hand to send her away but it was block by his father.
"I won t let you, now come with me, you can live in a castle the king has a daughter she s your age." said the Necromancer.
Necro juts backed away as he opened a gateway to a grave walked though and was gone. The two where left to looked at each other but only split and went back the way they had came.
In the years he spent travelling he used his family name and became the third Necromancer of the tomb, and as he walked the many lands found solace on a grassy mountain top. He stood looking at the rock, using his powers sent water rushing towards it that it began to carve a hole, as it carved out the inside he used fire to bright light and heat and smoothed some fine details in the earth, after he had caved out his new home he went back up the stairs in his cloak and opened a gateway to see a village in need of his aid.
Years passed adventures had and now Necro stood before Nova and Lady at the Dragon Castle, tensions where high, Nova was unsure on who to trust as Necro had been accused of destroying the guild.
"Nova, I can explain." he said.
"Can you really." sniggered the Necromancer.
"Oh shut up." he said as he killed the necromancer.
"Go on." said Nova as she turned human to looked him in the eyes.
He bowed his head and looked away.
"Look at me." she demanded.
Necro sighed and looked in to her eyes his scared path of betrayal almost unfolding as she looked on.
"Tell me." she asked him again more calmly.
"He didn t do it." called Miss Bella
Everyone spun to see her enter, she panting and dirty, every began calm as they waited to hear her exploitation.
"It was the Necromancers," she said at last "They ve turned on the guild and their after the book." she said.
"What book?" asked Nova truing to the others.
"The first and last book ever writing." said Miss Bella looking at Necro "The one he took to safe guard."
Lady and Nova looked to Necro was was more sad then anything else.
"What s going on?" asked Nova.
Necro only breathed in heavily, there was more to unpack.
Years ago in the under world a young baby Necro was sitting in his grandfathers lap as he gave dominion over his constituents.
"If we are to control magic then we must first wipe out all other forms of magic, to do this we must destroy the guild. When they are no more the magic they will be the end of their magic then we can take back what is ours." he called.
As the cheers and applause came from below Necro s father arrived.
"Hello so nice to see you show up," said the elder.
"Why are you doing this?" asked the Necromancer.
"Your dear mother helped me understand other magic, but when I learnt of how it s uses could serve us, she refused so I left and took you with me." he said. "I can t believe I helped form that stupid guild."
"What about your first wife?" he asked. "What ever happened to her."
"She was killed and her soul bounded meaning I could never bring her back," he sighed "That ring you gave her did nothing.
"Now look at you, you only had me as a weapon."
"How else would ensure Dragons won t fight back when take their magic."
"I leaving and I m tacking Chris, where going to find someone where we can live safely." he said as he took his son.
"You can t escape." he called. "Your future is sealed."
But they where already gone.
Nova and Bella where looking at Necro who had yet to tell them.
Lady got up to see him, "What ever it is we will understand."
He sighed as he spoke "Everything I have done has been in spit of my father and grandfather and even my grandmother. But I only took the book so when they came for it, what I saw would never happen, even so I knew I had to do it other choice as either way what I saw would always unfold."
"What do you mean?" asked Lady.
"The book told me my future, I ve tried to ignore it ever since I saw it.
"Saw what?"
"My own death." he said trying to hold back his fears "And everything I did from the destruction of the underworld the stealing the book and becoming a healer was to avoid my demise at the hands of the of my Grandfather, the Necromancer of the Tomb." he said before he fell to he knees "And it still has not worked."
Back in the days when Necro was training at the guild was he walking the halls and found the door to the vault, seeing the blank wall he pulled the bricks off to see what was beyond it s walls. Seeing what he thought was going to be a room, quickly turned in to dark staircase he stepped inside and walked down, as he reached the end he entered the room made of metal glowing to keep all magic out. A single book stood on a Dragon quartz pillar, he reached out a hand to touch the book and as he reached it opened it s pages. On the crystal white paper he saw not words but he saw his life flash before his eyes, as on the pages of the book before him where moving images of his life being displayed. As he saw the vague glimpses of his future, then as he got to one glimpse he jumped back, he had seen his own demise, as she moved back he slapped the book closed and turned around to see Miss Bella.
"Your not meant to see that." she said.
"What was that." he asked panic all over his face.
"Not for you to worry over." she said.
As she escorted him out he kept looking back.
Looking at Nova he put his hand on her face, she held it in place.
"I learnt to love you." he said. "As if your where my own daughter, and we need to insure they never get the book."
"Why?" asked Nova.
"Letting the person see the history is not all it does, that s juts a curse from dark magic." said Necro. "The book has knowledge of all magic, even those lost to time."
"I thought the guild had all magic." said Lady.
"No, the guild was made of the five magic s that interlock with the many over types, many other types of magic have been lost to time and other guilds and covens that existed have passed down other forms as well." said Miss Bella "So any other magic they taught that was not covered fell out of circulation and was lost."
"How many of them are still out there?" asked Lady.
"We don t know." sighed miss Bella.
"But that s not important, they will be coming for the book." said Necro. "And even know after all other magic users."
"We have to help them." insisted Nova.
"How, we don t know where they are." Lady pointed out.
"There is another way, Nova you haven't yet marked this land." said Necro.
"No why?" she asked.
"I think it s about time."
Out side in the court yard miss Bella, Lady and Necro where all gathered as Nova was flying above them in her as her dragon self.
"Are you sure this will, work?" she asked.
"It acts as a beckon to warn off other dragons but will also act as a way to call others here when me and miss Bella add are flames as well." called Necro.
"Okay." said Nova.
"Will this work?" asked miss Bella.
"I looked it up, its a sign to show sanctuary and all magic users can see it and only cross it." he said. "I thought you would now."
"I lost contact with my own dragon self when I fell for your grandfather long ago."
He juts smiled at her. Nova started to breath down a blue flame of fire around the castle it lingered but did not scourge or burn the ground. Necro and miss Bella then jumped up as they took on their full dragon forms and climbing high set a blaze of fire over Nova s causing an all colourful flame to be created rise high in to the sky. Nova flew back down to see the flames reach up with her light blue and then white flame as it hit the sky.
"Will this work?" asked Nova.
"If it does one of two things will happen." said Necro landing down as human "One the Necromancers arrive, and two we get some help."
"Lets get inside then." said miss Bella.
"Wait I have to one thing first." said Necro.
Lady looked back as Nova and miss Bella went back inside. Necro walked out of the gate and Lady raced to catch up the others. Necro opened all gateways to all the graves at ounce looking thorough them all seeing no one was coming he closed each one. Ounce he had closed them he then knelt down put is hand to the floor and as he stood back up his fathers body rose with him destroying the grave gateway;s link to the castle. His father came back to life in gasp of air as he looked up at his son, he had been reanimated.
"Where am I." he asked panic ridden.
"I thought I d bring you back." said Necro.
"Why I m dead as corpse I have no magic."
"No, but I can t have you as grave." he said "But I am going to need your help with what is about to come."
The two walked back inside and closed the doors behind them.
"What s going on?" he asked looking at his son.
"I killed my grandfather who s last followers killed the guild now my own grandmother is at my door with my spouse and child who ve I looked after for a about five days."
"What the hell have you been doing?" he asked.
"Nothing but be a hermit, and kill a lot of Necromancers."
A knock came from the door gate.
"Who s that?" they asked.
"How should I know." replied Necro.
Turning back they went to open the gate and standing in before them was a blond teen girl and her senator boy friend.
"Can I help you?" asked Necro.
"We saw you beacon and want claim asylum." they said.
"Yeah right, you a coven witch who, by looking at your hair is still a beginner but still sixteen and a senator who has no magic and I can only say is here for one reason, and that s you." said Necro.
"But your beam." they protested.
"Oh yes please come in." he said.
The two entered and the gates closed again.
