Chapter 14 The End Part II

In the throne room Nova was in her gold with Necro and Lady with miss Bell and the Necromancer of the tomb on Necro s side.
"Who are you?" asked Nova.
"My name is Blair." said the witch.
"And I m Harris." added the Senator.
Both where in basic clothes but had many items on belts on straps and saddle bags.
"Why have you come here?" asked Miss Bella "And where is the rest of your coven."
"It s a log story" said the Blair not wanting to relive the tragedy
"Besides it s not import, we have more pressing matters." added the Senator.
Not to long ago under the cover of darkness in a town based along the coast, the coven was moving under the cover of darkness, to escape the Necromancer. They where moving over a wooden walkway out side a large brick factory used slaughter and gut the fish they catch. The head witch had black hair as the others where all bloods, they crept along behind her as they tried to remind hidden. But the sound of hoofs became louder and they all turned back to hush the noise maker Blair and Harris where brining up the rear.
"Now girls ounce where are inside we can hide until the Necromancers have passed though."
Using a back door the coven flooded to the factory to hide wile Blair and Harris stayed behind.
"Why don t you leave your coven," said Harris "Your not progressing and all you sisters are a head of you."
"They re my family, and it s time you joined us." she said going in for a kiss.
After the climb up she floated back down to the floor, and tried to open door which had been closed buy the others. But as she tried she found the door was in fact now locked, she tried to push the door but not wanting to sue magic or make a loud noise started moving back round to see if she would be able to see in though high window.
"Give me boost." she said.
"Okay." replied Harris "But be careful."
He moved around picked her up and she then placed her self on his shoulders, peeking in to see saw the lights come on, and was able to see the silhouettes of everyone inside on the think glass. Before she was able to call for them to open the door a large rolling cylinder covered in spikes was let go from the celling and came down swinging towards the coven inside. The blood splattered all over the walls and Blair fell back.
"Go run." she panicked.
Turning back Harris rode of with her on his back, she looked back wishing it was not true, but knowing it all was.
Everyone was still unsure on what they where meant to do, with their new allies they had no plan.
"Okay." said Necro speaking up, he turned to Nova. "It s time we used the book, and this time you see what the future holds."
"Why me."she asked.
"Because it s time for you to lead." said Necro. "Like your mother."
Nova was unsure.
"We ll all be with you." said Lady.
Nova was still unsure but took a deep breath. "Okay." she said at last.
Deep in the castle Nova, Necro and Lady had arrived at the vault.
"You don t have to do this alone." said Lady. "We can hep you."
Nova looked in to her eyes smiled and stepped inside the vault and saw the book atop the small pile of treasurers, Lady and Necro joined her as she picked up the book and opened it wind blew in to her face as lights came from the pages as they flipped open rabidly to one place. Lady placed a hand on the book to help her then juts as they thought it was over Necro joined with his hand, and all three saw the same future and the same fiat. Closing the book they knew what had to be done.
Back in throne room the others where egger for their return, as they entered Nova was no leading them as before she had been following.
"What do we do?" they all asked.
"We fight." said Nova as as held out the book out in her hand.
"We have no weapons no army." said Necro s father.
"Then we make are own." said Nova, she poured over the book then as she spun her hand flat over the book, she began to read up on new magic.
Her eyes glowed and she started to levitate, before she fell right back down the book closed and the glow was gone.
"What did that do?" asked Harris.
"I ll show you." said Nova and she led them out of the court throne room.
Out side in the city the black smith was forging weapons from Dragon Quartz, everyone had come over.
"It granted me the power to use magic to summon what ever I wanted and I summoned enough Dragon quartz to make us weapons and amour." Nova Explained. "No we have amour that will give us the edge and enough of us to fight back." said Nova as stone was moulded.
As the amour came off the anvil everyone began to apply it, Lady, Blair s. Necro s father, miss Bella and Necro all had a human set, as for Nova she had her own set to allow her dragon form to fit in side, wile Harris had his set of senator amour. But everyone who had no magic had a sword crafted to brandish in to battle.
"Now we juts need to find them." said Nova as she got her magic ready in hand as they started to march towards the gate.
"I can handle this." said Necro. "I may have closed of gate here, but gates only need the grave at the other end to be used." he reached out his hands as a purple ball formed around them.
"What s happening to your hands?" asked Lady.
"Dragons breath" allows you to see magic, it s how eyes stones where made." said miss Bella "Given the amour is made using dragon breaths and where wearing it, it s allowing us to see magic."
Everyone got excited as the prospect of seeing Magic in action, as Necro smiled looking at his glowing hands he opened a gate way opened up to battle ground, the Necromancers where already gathered in on place. They all stepped though to see the small army they would be left to face, but where taken back to see all the Necromancers where in fact present.
Nova took flight and used stated to use her magic, hands started changing colours as she shot them in to the air as she called on the black stone ring. Calling it on to her hand the ring appeared only for the amount of magic to shatter the stone releasing a black glow. Nova then took control of it and infused it with her enchantments to cover the the amour they all wore, but with the stone shattered it s magic had become weak. No where unable to die at the hands of Magic but a simple blade is all it would take. Both sides now had an equable advantage. Necro raised his bone staff from the ground in to his hands as Nova moved forward towards the Necromancers and the others all got their magic and weapons ready Miss Bella brandishing her magic ready to strike every one with curses, the Necromancer of the tomb was unable to die but still held his sword high, Blair rode on Harris back her magic ready in hand and his arrows ready to fire.
"This is you last chance to stop and leave alive." said Nova.
"We can juts bring everyone back that you kill." they replied.
Nova grew worried, she was ready to lead but was not ready to do this alone.
"But how good is a dead Necromancer." said Necro joining Nova by her side. "As the they have no power."
Lady joined in and stood along side, followed by Miss Bella, the Necromancer of the tomb, the Blair and Harris.
The Necromancers all used their powers to try and kill them but it did no good, in response Nova flew up high in to the air and breathed down the elements upon them. In response they built up an army to fight in their place, the two charged each other and as they two armies clashed the battle began.
As the two forces battled the side with magic had the upper hand, but as the Necromancers juts kept rinsing up more people to fight in their place it was stale mate and no one was going to win. Nova was doing all she could but Necro was seemingly holding back, he swung is staff and and kept enemies at bay but didn t do much beyond using his elemental magic to fend himself as he moved though the army.
"What s he doing?" asked Lady as she blocked an attack.
"He s going after his Grandfather." said his father as he took brought down his blade.
Necro soon opened up his magic sending all the dead back to hell to have them brought back by the opposing side. As the necromancers clashed powers the others jumped at the chance to try and get closer to try and kill the necromancers. Racing towards them they started make more ground with every step, with Necro keeping them occupied with bring back the army the tide was truing in their favour. Nova jumped down to join in fight to forge forward, as Necro came to the leader all eyes seemed to be on him.
"So you have come to stop me." laughed his Grandfather.
"No, I m come to prevent what I saw in that book."
"My raise." he laughed.
"No my fall."
As he remembered back looking into the book for the first time the image of his fighting his grandfather appeared on the pages. As it went on he dove his sword in his chest, seeing his death he dropped the book and was shattered at who had killed him, his own grandfather had struck the killing blow.
As Necro looked at his grandfather he seemed all to happy to strike him down, but as he swung Necro brought up his staff. The two looked at each other one and old man the other a young soul.
"You ve caused me so much grief." he said as a tear rolled down his eye, harking back to the years he knew of his own death and the years he spent living in fear of his own family.
"It doesn t have to be this way, you juts need to join me," said his Grandfather "You juts need to let go, and reclaim what is yours."
Those words stuck a deep cord as his hands turned green and rocks came down to crush his Grandfather.
"Let go," he sneered "I m stronger now because of the pain." he said as he bent down to see his Grandfather die "And know it s my greatest strength."
His Grandfather watched as the green became purple and he was gone, then all the necromancers dropped dead, there was no brining them back. The dead army fell and everyone joined Necro as he looked over the dead bodies that littered the ground.
"Is it down have you changed your fate?" asked Lady.
"I don t now." he said.
"I think you have." said his father.
"The book only shows you the worst outcome." said miss Bella.
"That good but we still have a long walk home." said Necro.
"Why not bury the bodies and make a gateway back." said Nova.
"They don t deserve it." he spitting on their corpses.
"Well I can get us their." said Blair "I can sue teleport magic."
Everyone smiled as her hands turned blue and orange and they where gone.
In the far future the kingdom was not what it ounce was, it was far greater, the city had grown and now it hosted home to all manner of beings from all walks of life. Dragons flew in the sky and magic was taught in the streets, the plant life was now alive and had grow far greater. In the castle Nova sat on the throne Queen in the Dragon lands a place or all who seek safety, with Necro and Lady as her side as her aids they would rule for years and years to come.
Out in the court yard Necro s father was reading stories to the young children of the kingdom.
"And the dragon-born lead her army in to battle against the Necromancers, and only after was it her ally and friend Necro was able to face death itself was the day truly won." he read. In his hand the book of Nova s child hood, extend. "And that is the Story oft the Princess and the Dragon." he said as he closed the book. "But there are many more stories to tell…."
