Chapter 26 Turbulent Past

As the two struggled to run away Blair used a portal to get them some place safe, they where now in an isolated room both laying on the ground, catching their breath.
"Thanks for helping me?" asked Blair panting.
"No problem." panted Lady "What happened to your leg."
"I was taking out this group and slammed some in to a wall, I forget to kill them, and as one got up they harpooned me."
"That has go to hurt."
"It did, but Harris found me and, used his healing magic to close the wound."
"I didn t now he had magic."
"Neither did I." she said laughing over it. "Have you ever been with someone and still find out new things about them."
"Not really, I ve only ever been with Necro."
"Oh really, out side of a one night thing with him I ve only ever been with Harris." she confessed.
Lady became quite not wanting to revisit that night she caught them together.
"All though, he does lie about his past." Blair recounted.
"Tell me about." Sniggered Lady "I ve been told so many different times you d think he was a hundred diffrent people."
They started to laugh together.
"But it does bother me why he won t just tell me about it." said Lady
"I know, I was with him only for a short time and he didn t tell me anything."added Blair, she paused as she remembered how it was brought about "In fact something else about him is how he can kill with out remorse."
"I don t get it, what do you mean no remorse."
"When you see him kill, it s as if he feel nothing, as if he s just doing anything else." she seemed taken back. "I know that his father was evil, but how does he do it."
"Maybe he ll tell us one day."
The two laughed again at the share fact it was never going to happen.
"Do you want to try and take them on?" asked Blair, changing the subject.
Lady looked at her hands as the purple magic swelled in her hand. "Yes."
Getting up the two stood side by side as Blair opened a portal back in to the fight. As they stepped though Lady looked at them as one one by she was able to send them away with Blair reflection magic blows back on them by using her portals to redirect their attacks.
Else where deep in the labyrinth, Harris and Necro where racing away trying to avoid the magic attacks coming their way, they rounded a bend to find a locked door. Turning back they got ready to fight.
"We need to work together." said Necro.
"Oh really, I thought you where fine on your own." replied Harris sarcastically.
"I am, this is for your benefit."
"Or are you just trying get me out of the way." he said as he got his arrows ready.
"Why in deaths name would I do that." he replied as his hands glowed form brown, to blue, to orange, to white, as he put up some rock armaments.
"It was you who told her to stay quite about your decision." he said as he fried arrows.
"She did that her self." he replied firing of shots of fire and ice.
"What about everything you did after the fact." he argued hopping over the wall to ran at the recovering leftovers.
"You drove her away and I was their for her." Necro said as fire whips suffocated the ones trying to flee.
They argued as the fought their way though the slimming masses.
"If you had only left it alone non of this would of happened." he said as a he spun rocks around at high speeds.
"Oh so if I didn t want my girlfriend keeping secrets we would not be fighting now." he said as he trammelled.
"No, you two would be be together and we wouldn't not be having this discussion." he said as he turned to him throwing a ball water around a group of stragglers heads.
Harris pulled a arrow form one persons eye.
"But we also might not be here if we did not." he said.
"What do you mean." he grunted.
"If the divide never happened, would we have split up diffidently to find Nova, would we both have been caught."
Harris looked to the ground.
"There is no knowing what might have happened if one little thing had been diffrent." he said "But because of are actions we are here now, and it s important to not let it them effect us know, but learn form them, to better are selves for the future."
Harris sighed "What are you saying."
"Don t let your hatred stop you form seeing that you and Blair can still be together, and use the past to reflect on, for your future actions."
"Your quite the wise man." Harris smiled.
"With age comes wisdom, but not thought time but though experience."
Harris smiled as he let out hand, tacking it he was lifted up on to his back, the two rode off using their combined powers to carry on.
Nova was backing up out the room realising how many dragons had been killed when she bumped in to the figure standing behind her. The sudden realisation she was not alone made her jump, as she spun around and jumped back almost falling over, at the sight of the figure.
"So you ve found are little secret. They said walking in." taking an orb.
It s glow was gone and it was dropped it to the floor.
"We ve collected all theses powers, to make us equal to the Necromancers." they said taking some more.
"All so we can…"
They where cut of by Nova shoving her sword in to his chest both cutting of his power and killing him. Nova turned to the hundred upon thousands of orbs of fallen dragons, taking her sword in had she swung at them braking them. She started to pull down shelves and smashing them with her magic, making sure no one could use it.
At the two groups came across the same cross road where they split up they met ounce more.
"Is everyone okay?" asked Harris.
"Where good." smiled Lady.
"Okay then we need to find Nova." said Necro.
"Wait, can anyone else her that?" asked Blair.
They all went quite.
Nova was flaying around as her dragon self in anguish destroying the orbs as the others walked in.
Looking back around she saw her friends and landed in front of them crying. "They had all the magic from the dragons." she said.
"Oh Nova." teared up lady as she raced over to hug the dragon girl.
"Their magic should be free, and not left for others to take."
"It s okay Nova, it s all over now." said Necro stepping in.
Lady escorted her out as she turned human ounce more, but as she looked to the floor she spotted a blank orb and quickly picked it up. Ounce everyone was clear Necro placed a stone barrier around the room and began to shrink it brining it in. Forcing everything inside to brake and under the pressure. Soon everything was being crushed under the force of the rook, he stopped when it was all just one cube in the centrer. Lady looked at the orb no one else seemed to have notice her taking it, thinking it might come in handy and should be put in the vault.
"Magic is not something to be bottled a caged up, it should be free for all." Necro said turning away. "It s a tool to help those who need it and to better are own lives as it was used before it was subdued."
"Is everyone here dead?" asked Blair.
"No." said Necro, but they will be. "Get a portal ready."
Blair opened a portal.
"Now go thought it."
Everyone but Necro stepped though to the the rocky valley.
"Now why I say go you close the portal." he said.
"What do you mean." wondered Blair.
Necro just shot her with jet of water and portal closed, she sat and reopened it to find water gushing out and closed it ounce more.
"What did he do?" asked Nova.
"I think he s flooding the entire area." said Blair.
Blair opened a new portal looking down at the arena to see Necro walking on the water as survives tried to get out, begging to be saved. But Necro just had the water come up and pull them down, soon the water rose high enough for him pass though the portal and as he passed though the portal he fell over due change in gravity.
"Why did you do that?" asked Blair.
"The water would poor out, and it would be any easy exit I needed to make sure no one is left." said Necro.
"Lets go home." smiled Nova.
Blair opened another portal and Harris and Nova stepped though in to the castle but Necro was stopped by the girls.
"We want to now something?" they ask.
"Yes, I drowned them all and yes it s still going on." he said.
"No, tell us why your like this." said Blair.
"Why you refuse to tell us your true history." added Lady.
"I have nothing to say about that." he said as he pushed past them and moved on though the portal.
"He will only keep lying won t he." sighed Blair.
"Yep." agreed Lady
They both passed though as well, as they came in everyone was retiring for a early night.
"So who can we go to find out the truth?" asked Blair.
"The only other person who would have know Necro before us." said Lady. "His father."
"Where would he be?" asked Blair "He s ur, a dead man walking."
"I know where he ll be." said Lady as she lead her away.
Kyle was in the library pouring a book, when the girls arrived.
"Um, Kyle." said Lady, as she approached.
"Oh I didn t see you there." he said tuning around.
"We want to know about Necro." said Blair.
"I thought you two would now him by now." he said looking at them, switching his gaze between one another. "To tell you the truth I was never there for him, I left to find a place to raise him but was gone for too long." he said letting tears fall on to the pages. "I only met him when he left the guild and when I was forced to cage him by the old king."
The two turned away to leave him be.
"That was sad." said Blair.
"I know, Necro never said anything about this." said Lady.
"So I guess Bella might be are best bet."
"She was at the guild when Necro attended."
The two set off, wile Kyle was left to read over the diary of his son s life, crying over all that he had missed.
As they where leaving they bumped in to Bella.
"Hello girls." she smiled.
"We don t spouse you now much about why Necro is the way he is?" asked Blair.
"He s always lying and it s hard for him to tell us." added Lady.
"He was only about five when he arrived at the guild, but even then seemed fine at first." she paused looking back the memories hard to bare "He even tried to learn all the magic, but that all changed when he discovered the book."
"What happened?" asked Blair.
"He only took three classes and became more rigged and angry, he closed himself off and lost contact with everyone around him."
"What did the book do to him?" Blair asked.
"He told me he saw his death by the hands of his grandfather." said Lady.
"Was that true?"
"Yes, that was true."
"I m sorry I can t help your further." said Bella as she moved in to the Library.
The two walked off having no more options.
"What else can we do?" sighed Blair.
"We have me." thought Lady
"No, it s not worth it, he made have lied about his past but we can t go this far just to understand why."
"He should be weak, he needed a dragon soul to stay in power, I can keep him I check."
Blair was unsure.
"We can take precautions." urged Lady.
"What if he bring back his army, what then." wondered Blair.
"I won t let that happen."
Deep in the castle Necro was in his room brewing potions, Blair an Harris could use a pick me up, as she brewed he spoke to life long friend Death.
"So you flooded the place." he asked.
"Yes."
"Wow, well you do keep me busy." he chuckled.
"Ha." replied Necro in a monotone voice.
"Hay what s up buddy?" asked Death.
"Do you know what it s like to be able to become a god?" he asked.
"No." came the reply.
"Then don t ask."
"Your are in mood." he scoffed before he left.
In fit of rage she swung his hands across the table and smashed the potions to the floor.
"Are you okay?" Lady asked peering in to the room.
He snapped his head around shooting her glance.
"NO!" she shouted in deep growl.
She took step forward as he composed himself and started to tidy up the mess.
"What are you doing her?" he sighed. "I m trying to relax and unwind."
"I thought I taught you better." came a voice.
Looking back up he saw San-saw walk in to the room, Necro shot a fire wipe right at him, but Lady stepped in it s path and Necro held it still before extinguishing it.
"He s dead." she explained.
"What, how?" asked Necro.
Earlier in the other room Lady was standing in corner as she took in deep breath turning around she summoned San-saw, he appeared at the foot of her bed, his still breathing body only had a few seconds to focus on where he is before being impaled, the dragon scale blade piercing his heart, as he fell to the floor Blair was standing in the door way she had thrown the the sword with her magic. Lady quickly used the orb to catch the magic with out Blair seeing.
"No what?" asked Blair walking in to pry the sword out of his body.
"This." she said as she reanimated him.
Unaware of his power loss he tried to kill her but his powers are now gone.
"I ve been granted your powers now." said Lady "Do as I ask and your live other wise it s death for you."
San-saw smiled "What ever you say."
His evil grin was enough to put Lady on her guard.
Necro looked at he man who raised him, and brainwashed him, Blair was brining in the rear in-case he tried something.
"It s good to see you again." San-saw smiled.
Necro just let out his flame whip is it bent around lady and latched on to his neck forcing him to the ground.
"Do you now what s great about being reanimated, you can still feel after your dead." Necro sneered as he made it tighter "But you still can t die."
"NECRO STOP!" shouted Lady.
"So that s the name you go by now." he chuckled. "Suits you."
"Shut up." he said before tuning to the girls."Why did you do this?" he asked "Why bring him back."
