The man lifted up his bloody face, his nose spraying blood on the ground profusely.
"How dare you? Who the he-" the man stopped his angry rant as soon as he saw James' face, the expressions rapidly changing from furious to scared one within a matter of a few seconds.
"Mr. Sullivan?" he spoke through the blood with an awkward laugh while trying to wipe it off with his hands desperately, "ooooh... ohhh this is so embarrassing! I did not expect to see you here. Are you alright?"
"Baby, what are you doing?!" Lila whined and came to grab the man's arm while she shot an angry glare to James, "how dare you to hurt my boyfriend! Do you even know how he can wipe you like dirt from the ground? He owns Livion Industries! You and your bitch girlfriend, just watch how-"
The old man grabbed Lila's arm in a rough hold as he gritted out, "Shut the fuck up, you dumb bitch! He is James Sullivan!"
"So what if he is! What has it got to do with us?!" Lila continued shouting outrageously while wiggling her finger in James' face, "listen here, you asswipe, handle your slut and take her away from here before she seduces my man as well and-"
SMACK! The old man grabbed Lila's arm, turned her to face himself, and slapped her across the face while shouting, "You are going to ruin me! Shut your fucking trap!"
James had already stepped past both of them and had pulled Kara in his arms with his hand around her shoulder. His other hand had fished out his phone and was already dialing a number which got picked up after the second ring,
"Kevin, make Livion Industries' stock drop immediately. Create manipulation, do whatever we do to wipe it out." James's voice was dark and emotionless when he looked straight into the old man's eyes and issued his orders, "within two hours I want to see the news of it disappearing from the industry permanently."
Kara's eyes shot to him in shock but the only indication of his anger was the way he said those words. He looked completely calm from the outside but he had just ruined a whole group of industries with one phone call.
The old man immediately rushed forward and fell at James' feet, begging hysterically, "Mr. Sullivan, p- please forgive me! It is all my fault. Don't do this to me. This- this dumb bitch is useless trash that I just take around for fun. Please don't punish me for her mistake. I will punish her for her mistake today."
James ruthlessly pulled his leg out of the old man's tight grip and stepped sideways. His eyes glared down at the man as he seethed through gritted teeth, "you still don't see it, do you? You took my wife in your fucking arms. You tried to force her to PROSTITUTE for you?! And your fuck toy called my wife a slut?" his eyes were burning with fury when he murmured the words coldly, "be glad that I am leaving you, and your fuck toy alive. She is not getting away as well. I will have some special arrangements for her since she likes to run her mouth so much."
Lila's mouth dropped open in shock as she looked at them. She had now suddenly realized how big of a mess she had just created for herself. When she saw herself getting trapped in big trouble, she rushed ahead and grabbed Kara's hand in hers,
"Mam... mam please. You are kind hearted. I am so sorry for everything I just said. I am foolish, I just said whatever came to my tongue. Please ask your hubby to take mercy on us."
Kara shrugged off her hands and pulled away from her immediately, "You brought this on yourself." she murmured. As much as she could forgive people, Lila didn't look like someone whose nature could ever change. She had become so blinded in greed that everyone else looked nothing more than dirt to her. And with the way she had treated Kara today, she did not have even an ounce of sympathy for the woman.
Kara stepped aside and James started taking her out of the area back to the table. Lila, who had now seen that nothing was in her favor, started screaming at them from behind, "You fucking bitch! You think you are the only woman on this earth who can do anything she wants?! I am going to fuck you up! I am going to ruin your fucking face! You can't do anything to me!"
The hotel staff had rushed towards them after hearing all the screaming. As soon as the manager came there, James pointed at the old man and Lila and scolded, "how can you let such dogs enter your hotel? There is no respect for your establishment anymore in this city? Throw this barking bitches out of here right now!"
James had a very high influence in all the high class places as he was the big shot at the international level. His wealth was the highest in whole Europe, magazines begged for an exclusive interview from him. No one in this city could afford to offend him. As soon as the manager saw James, and then the scene, he immediately called up the security and instructed them to get the old man and Lila out of the hotel while turning to James and apologizing for everything that happened.
The security had just arrived when Lila started screaming, "D- Damon. Damon told me to do it!" she started screaming loudly, "he told me to remind you of him! I- I swear!"
