Sandhya's POV



Ok fine, I like him. He is very handsome and he is not that bad. Ok, he is not bad at all... I enjoyed the kisses we shared. I am glad that I am getting married to him. He is a handsome devil...

My handsome devil.

" What??? Say that again... " He applied the brakes all of a sudden and said.

What?? Now what did I say.? Did I say what I was thinking?? Oh god! Was I thinking aloud? Save me.

" What did I say, sir???? I didn't say anything at all. "

" Yes, you did, I heard that. Now, will you please repeat that? "

" Sir, can we please go home? "

" I didn't tell you to repeat that. Anyways leave that. But, let me assure you, I heard everything. " He was grinning like a fool. He drove me to my place. We came out of the car he came very close to me.

" You were looking very beautiful today, I loved every minute of being with you. I enjoyed my drawing a lot, next time let me know which figure you want me to draw... And I heard what you said a few minutes back." He kissed my cheek. I was blushed like anything, he smiled.

" Oh, God!! Don't blush like this or I won't be able to stop myself from doing what I want to. " I blushed even harder on hearing that.

" It seems you want your revenge from me. You keep doing exactly the opposite of what I tell you to do. I must leave while I still can. Have a good night. " He said then slid into his car and drove off.

I kept thinking about him for the whole night, he has been very sweet with me.

He never intended to hurt me all those years ago. It is just that he didn't want to get married to an unknown person. Now I can understand what he must have felt.

Though it doesn't justify what he said about anyone still, I forgave him.

" Get ready fast, Sandhya. Rachana called up, they are coming to pick you up for the shopping. Vidhi is also coming they want to spend some quality time with you. " My mom said.

" But mom I have to go to the hospital. "

" Rachana has already informed Vikram that you are not going to the hospital today. "

Hearing that I got up to get ready. I wore a beautiful white suit. My mom also got ready.

Exactly after 30 minutes, they came to pick us. We went for shopping and bought many dresses for me and Vidhi. We also bought some footwears, makeup and a few contemporary jewellery pieces. Then we had our lunch. We even saw some traditional wedding lehengas. We selected one for me. It was almost evening and we all were very tired. So we came home.

Rachana aunty said to mom, " Padma we are going back to Jodhpur tomorrow so I just wanted Sandhya to have dinner with us today. Is that ok with you? "

" Yes, of course, Rachana, she is your daughter too. You have every right to do that. "

" So, why don't we take her with us? Vikram will bring her back after dinner. " Aunty said.

" As you wish. " mom said with a smile.

" Sandhya beta go and get ready. We all will go out for dinner. " I nodded and went to my room to get ready.

I went to his place with Vidhi and aunty. His house was very beautiful. I thought that his house would be like a bachelor's pad, but I was quite surprised to see that it was decorated very tastefully. Everything looked very well kept. The whole house looked well organised.

We all had a good time. Vidhi said she is going to take bath before dinner. So she went to her room. Aunty started making tea and some light snacks for Devil. All of a sudden the door opened and he walked in. He must have been very tired as he just threw his stuff on one of the chairs and settled in a recliner and closed his eyes.

" Mom, please get me a strong tea." He said to aunty.

Aunty had just prepared some sandwiches for him, she started making tea, when he said, " Mom, I am going to my room please bring it there. " It seemed, he was not even aware that I was also here.

He went to his room. Aunty placed the tea and snacks on the serving tray and asked me to follow her.

I was feeling very shy and awkward in going to his room but I couldn't deny aunty. She entered into his room and I followed her.

We saw that he was not in the room. " Oh!! he must be in the washroom." She kept the tray on the table and asked me to sit and I sat beside her.

Just then the door of the washroom opened and he came out in the room and without even looking at us, he went towards his wardrobe and took out some T-shirt.

As he was not wearing his shirt so I averted my eyes and looked in another direction. He turned towards us and stopped in the mid-track. He blinked twice before he said anything

" Oh, I didn't know... " He smiled at us and started coming towards us.

He wore his T-shirt and came and sit beside me. He was smiling like anything and I was avoiding looking at him.

"Have tea and get freshen up Vikram. We all are going out for the dinner. That's why I requested Padma to let her come with us. " He smiled again.

" So how was your day, mom? " He was asking her while looking at me.

" It was really good, we enjoyed a lot. We did have lots and lots of fun. You could say. we shopped till we dropped. " She was so excited about the shopping we did. Her phone was ringing so she went outside saying that she needs to pick it up.

" So, it was a very pleasant surprise, I missed you a lot today. I am glad that you are here and going to have dinner with me." He said coming a bit closer to me. My heartbeat escalated.

" So? Does your heart, always beats faster whenever your handsome devil is anywhere near you? "

Oh, god !! He heard that day... and what is wrong with my heart? It starts behaving irrationally whenever he is near me. My traitor heart always tells him about my condition.

I always go weak in my knees. Thank God, we were sitting right now. But I was looking like a tomato.

" Hey, sweetheart... say something. " He said cupping the side of my face. He was so close that his face was just inches away from mine.

" S-sir... Y-your... T.t..tea is g-getting cold."

" To hell with the tea, I don't need it anymore. "

" B-but y-you wa-wanted it. You looked so t-tired."

" I am not tired anymore. " He caressed my cheeks and then my lips. I couldn't even breath. He bent a little and brushed his lips with mine. I gasped and tried to get away from him but he enclosed me in his arms.

He looked at me with a very loving expression and kissed me again.

I liked the feel of his lips on mine. He pulled me even closer to him and threaded his fingers into my hair. I was losing my self in him.

" Bhai are you ready? Mom is cal... Oh, I am sorry, I didn't know. Sorry, but I didn't see anything."

Vidhi was saying with her back turned towards us and eyes closed.

He cursed under his breath.
