Sandhya's POV



Maurvi served everything in her plate and said, " Wow!! Sandhya I love all these things. Vada pav and Chana Daal Vada to spice up the evening and Marble cake, and Gulab jamun to end the day with sweetness. I love you. I am extremely hungry now.

She was about to take a bite when her phone started ringing. She saw the number and closed her eyes as if she was tired.

She picked up the phone and said," Hello! Hello aunty..... Ji... What ?? but why?.... Aunty, I tried talking to her, but she didn't even talk to me...... But aunty, I tried... Aunty but..... Ji, I am coming...... "

She got up and said, " Sorry, but I need to go. There is some emergency at my friend's place. I have to go. " She looked very tense, I could even see that her eyes were filled with tears.

" No, she is not. She is just overreacting. You tried to make her understand everything. She is deliberately trying to fall in a ditch. You are not responsible for what she is doing. Stop torturing yourself, Maurvi. " Gautam Ji literally shouted out of concern.

Hot tears started flowing from her eyes. " But she is my friend. I can't leave her in a problem. Would you leave your best friend in a problem? " She asked him.

" No, but you practically did everything. Ok! First, you eat food and then call her, if she talks to you, I will take you to her place and if she doesn't, you call her mom and say that she doesn't want to talk to you, so there is no point of you going there place at this hour. You can go there first thing in the morning. Ok?? "

He said to her but she looked at us hesitantly.

" He is right, Maurvi. We are also your friends. I told you you are like Vidhi to me, we want best for you and he is saying that he will take you there. Even I would not suggest you go there alone at this hour... and she is not even listening to you. " Devil said and I nodded.

I gave her a plate to her. She had her food.

She called her friend, but she didn't respond. So she called her mom and said, " Sorry aunty, I can't come there at this time. There is no one to come with me and as it is she is not even talking to me. So, there is no use in my coming there. I can come in the morning if you think it will help. Bye aunty. " She disconnected the call and took a deep breath.

I hugged her and rubbed her back. " That was the right thing to do. Now, you must take rest. we must also leave, I am feeling very sleepy."

" But it is only Nine, we can go by Ten..." Devil smiled at me very sweetly.

" I am very tired and feeling sleepy. Please let's just go. Tomorrow, I have to go for shopping with Vidhi and Shubh. " He nodded and got up.

Gautam Ji smiled at me and said, " Thank you so much for the awesome food especially that spicy Vada pav. I swear, I will never forget this. I hugged Maurvi and said,

" Please, take care of yourself. If you need me for anything, please give me a call. "

She smiled and nodded.

We said bye to both of them and slipped into the car and he drove towards my house.

" Enjoyed the evening sweetheart?? "

" Yes, I enjoyed the comedy movie. It was really funny. "

" What about the second one? I enjoyed it a lot. The best movie, I ever saw. "

" Seriously?? What was so great about it? "

" You were leaning against me. Your face was just above my heart and my arms were around you. I loved every minute of that movie. From today onwards, I would love to watch only a horror movie, so that I can hold you the way I did. " He was smiling mischievously. I tried not to smile, but couldn't hold it.

" Sandhya, I promise from now onwards I will not practice drawing circles. I know you don't like it. So I won't draw circles, I will draw hearts. Ok sweetheart? "

I kept looking at the intensity in his eyes. The look mesmerized me and I felt as if I was falling in a bottomless pit. I realised that I love him a lot. I started playing with my fingers.

I was getting affected by the way he was looking at me. My face got very hot and I knew that I was looking like a beetroot.

" I think, I must start calling you as Rosy. "

" What? But why??? " I was so confused.

" You are always blushing like a red rose flower. I want to do naughty things to you. " He winked at me. I blushed even harder. He came nearer to me. I took two steps back but then my back touched the cool surface of his car. He placed his hands on his car.. sandwiched me between him and the car. I couldn't even move an inch.

" Please, let us just go home. " I said and he shook his head.

" First you look into my eyes and say that you don't care for me... That you don't like me... That you seriously hate me..." He kept looking at me, but I couldn't utter a word.

He took another step and now there was no space between our bodies. Even a paper could not pass between us. He tipped my chin urging me to look at him... And said, " I am waiting sweetheart. Just say it. "

I was getting very tense. My body was getting warm but every pulse in my body was beating frantically as if a rock show was on.

" Sandhya, say it once and I will let you go, or we will keep standing like this till you say that again looking into my eyes. So it is better that you say it now."

" I d-don't hate you... I do c-care for you. In fact, I like you a lot." I just could not lie to him. While looking into those intense eyes... I blurted out the truth. He smiled and closed the remaining distance between our faces and placed his lips on mine and engulfed me in his arms and tightened them.
