Chapter 46

Vikram's POV



It was Saturday and as we decided we were going to Mehul's farmhouse for two days. We decided to share the cars, so that we could enjoy more.

Rahul- Priya and Mehul- Megha went in one car. Gautam- Maurvi and Sandhya and I were in another car.

It was difficult to convince Maurvi to come with us but then she agreed. We all reached the farmhouse. It was mesmerizing. I mean it was always beautiful but after Megha worked on it, It was like a little heaven.

We all removed our overnight bags from the cars and went to the rooms assigned to us to keep our stuff and freshen up. Maurvi and Sandhya went to there room and Gautam and I went to ours.

We all came out where brunch was served. We were all very hungry so we enjoyed the food a lot... We kept laughing and teasing each other.

We all missed Sagar. Mehul asked him to come but he said that he is stuck somewhere and would not be able to come. What is going on with him? I called him to invite for my wedding. He said he would come.

This place was ideal for outdoor activities. All the couples strolled around the place. It had many beautiful setting. A big swimming pool. a beautiful artificial pond.

Everything looked like a landscape. We all enjoyed a tour around the place. Then we came and settled in another beautiful sitting arrangements.

All the girls sat together, made a group and were gossiping about fashion, movies etc. Mehul and Rahul were sharing their marriage experiences as according to them they were preparing Me and Gautam for our respective married life in future. They were telling us to be strong otherwise the wives would rule the marriage forever.

" You need to be strict with your wife. " Mehul said and Rahul was nodding.

Megha raised her eyebrows and asked, " Do you mind repeating that, darling. I didn't hear properly. " She was speaking very sweetly but we all knew how feisty she was.

" Nothing beautiful, I didn't say anything at all. Did I say anything friends? " he asked us with pleading eyes.

" Yes, you and Rahul were saying that we must be strict with our wives just as they do, as otherwise, they would rule us forever. He was giving the example of yourself and saying that he is so strict that his wife... I mean you are really scared of him. " Gautam said sweetly.

" Is that what you said, darling? " She asked in a sugar-coated voice.

" Not at all, beautiful. How can I say that? Everyone knows I love you so much. "

" Will you do me a favour, darling? "

" Anything for you. " He was grinning like a fool.

" Pack your bag and share the room with Rahul Bhai. Priya and I are sharing the room. " Mehul looked as if his eyes would come out of his sockets. Rahul looked alarmed too.

" No, You can't do that. I will not allow that. " Mehul said and Rahul nodded.

" You will not allow that??? As if we care, I am not asking for permission. I am telling you to do it " She said with the determination and Priya was with her. I looked at Rahul and Mehul and saw that their faces fell to the ground.

" But baby, we are here to enjoy... " said Rahul to Priya.

" Oh, but you should have thought of that before you taught your friends how to control the wives. " They both pouted and made puppy faces. But the girls were adamant.

Gautam and I burst out laughing. " The experienced husbands are being thrown out of their bedrooms ha ha ha," l said and laughed out loud.

Both Rahul and Mehul were glaring at us but I could not control my laughter.

" Baby we were just kidding... Pls, don't send me away... " Rahul said to Priya.

" Megha please yaar we were just pulling their legs as they are not married yet... Please let me be with you... " Mehul was pleading rest of us were enjoying the show.

" Ok, you can stay but you will sleep on the couch. " Megha said.

" What?? But that is not fair. "

" That will remind you how you must not control your wife..." Priya said.

We just could not stop ourselves and burst out laughing again. Sandhya came near me and said in a low voice, " What are you doing? They are fighting... You must try to solve their problems.." I just shook my head. I think Maurvi must have said something similar to Gautam as he also shrugged and smiled at me.

" Ok, if you are not going to help them then we are," Maurvi said Sandhya agreed with her.

" No, let us enjoy. They have been lecturing for hours, look how they are sulking right now... The so-called experienced husbands." I said.

Priya and Megha were still angry, so they went away.

But just then I saw, Maurvi and Sandhya went to Rahul and Mehul and said something to them. They looked excited but again looked helpless.

" Don't worry, we will help you. Now, come on pull up your socks and cook something for your wives. " Maurvi said to them. It would be funny to watch Rahul and Mehul cooking.

Gautam and I sat down in the open kitchen where they planned to cook a meal for their wives.

They were very awkward in the kitchen as they never cooked in their life. Same with me... Only Gautam could cook a bit. We were smiling and teasing both of them.

" See Gautam... The very dominating husbands are cooking food for their meek and submissive wives. " We were teasing them like anything... Rahul and Mehul were glaring at us.

" Don't listen to them... Just think how much you love your wife... She cooks so many nice things for you... Your favourite dishes and all other things... Can't you cook even for one day? And you say you love her? " Maurvi said to both of them.

" You are right I will cook for my Priya but the problem is that both of them are very good cooks and we don't know how to even boil water, how will we do it? Cook food.... you see.." Rahul said.

" Sandhya and I will help you... Let them laugh if they are... Maybe they are still not in love enough to understand how you are feeling. " Maurvi raised her eyebrow at us.

Both of them were helping them. Rahul and Mehul were following their instructions. Sandhya was helping Mehul and he was smiling at her... She is so cute... Always made so many things for me... I must also cook for her...

I rolled my sleeves and went to help them... They were surprised to see me but I ignored them and asked Maurvi for some instructions as I wanted to cook for Sandhya. Gautam was shocked to see me cooking but he also joined us.

He helped Mehul and worked with Sandhya. After almost 1 and a half hour the food was ready.

We served everything on the table... But I didn't tell anyone that my hand got burnt.

All of us made very simple dishes with easy to follow recipes. As Sandhya and Maurvi just gave instructions and rest was done by all of us. Rahul and Mehul went to call their wives...

When they came and saw what the guys made they hugged their husbands. I looked at Sandhya and she blushed as usual.

" That is not fair, I also cooked for you. So, don't I get the hug or kiss like that? " I asked her.
