Vikram's POV



I was driving her to her home when I saw an ice-cream parlour. I stopped my car and asked her what would she like.

" I don't want anything, I am too full." She said but when I insisted she said anything is ok.

So I got two ice-creams for us. We started talking about our friends. I was telling her about my friends and how we used to enjoy during school days, she was enjoying it. I wanted the time to freeze. I wanted her to sit in front of me forever.

I again had this urge to tease her she looked very beautiful when she blushed. I deliberately applied some icecream near my lips when she was not looking. I pretended that I was not aware of it.

She looked at me and tried to tell me that I have some ice cream on my cheek in a very low voice. I kept eating and behaved as if I didn't hear.

" Er... You have some ice cream on your face... "

" Is it?? Lick it off... "

" What??? "

" I said, lick it off... " I said and winked at her. She was shocked at my words and I loved her expression. She was almost as red as a red rose. I started laughing.

I just shook my head and said, " Relax, I was just teasing you. It has become my favourite timepass, somehow I love to see this beautiful colour on your face when you blush. Though, you can lick it off, if you want to. "

" Can we go home, please? " She asked looking anywhere but at me. I laughed again and nodded. I started the car.

" You know Sandhya, there is a famous gazal. Which is perfect in our situation..."

" Aap se mil ke hum.....

kutchh badal se gaye,

Sher padhne lage...

Pahle mashhoor thi....

Apni sanjeedgi ,

( I have changed a lot after meeting you. I was famous for my demureness and reserve nature... But now a days, I smile at the drop of a hat.... I am always smiling)

" Sandhya, I have never behaved in this way. But with you, I am different. I am smiling a lot these days. " I said to her and caught her hand. she smiled shyly.

I dropped her at her place said good night and kissed lightly on her forehead and drove back to my place.



Sandhya's POV



I was getting drawn towards him. I always got carried away whenever he touched me. I liked the way he looks at me, touch me, talk to me, tease me, call me sweetheart and kiss me.

What was happening to me? I kept blushing all the time. He was making me fall for him and I was falling very fast and hard.

He invited me to go for a movie and to one-day outings with his friends. I would like to go.

I just loved the way he bribed his sister, just to spend some more time with me.

I was so embarrassed when I told him that he has icecream on his cheek and he told me to lick it off.

What ?? I had gone red. Couldn't even look at him. He was getting naughty day by day, even laughed once he saw that I was embarrassed.

He was so cute and cruel at the same time... My handsome and naughty devil.

I realised that he liked old songs and gazals. He even said a few lines for us and since then I can't stop smiling. Awww... it was so cute of him to say that.

Do I affect him so much? I kept thinking about him and slipped into slumber.

I got ready for the hospital and helped my mom and aunt in the kitchen.

" Sandhya, I packed lunch for Vikram too, as his parents must have gone. He must be feeling alone. Have food with him. " My mom said and I rolled my eyes.

" His parents must have left by now, but Vidhi is here for 3 more days. " I told them.

" Oh, then we must call them for dinner. "

" We had lunch and dinner with them yesterday. So what is the need? "

" So what?? I am calling them for dinner. " She was adamant. She called them up. What was the hurry?? She could call him in the evening. Mom is mom...

" Hello, Vikram beta...... I am good, how are you?....... That's great, so has Rachna and Bhai Sahab already left?....... Ok, Why don't you and Vidhi, come for the dinner tonight? ........ Great!!! We will wait for you. We are going for shopping, If Vidhi also wants to go, then she can... ok, that would be nice. "

She disconnected the call and said, " Vidhi and Vikram are coming right now. "

They came and had breakfast with us and after that, he drove me to the hospital.

We reached the hospital and met everyone. They congratulated us once again.

We went for our rounds and a few new patients were there, I saw their problems and requirements and went to make their diet charts.

An old lady was admitted. She had a heart attack two days back. Her son came looking for me while I was in the Cardiology department and asked a few questions about her diet. I was telling him when a hand snaked around my waist and I got startled. It was Devil's arm.

" So when will you be free honey? I am really hungry... "

Honey?? Why was he using endearments now???

" I will be free in 5 minutes... We must wait for our other friends to come also. Let me complete the diet plan then I'll join you all. " I said politely.

" Oh, hurry up sweetheart. You don't want your fiance to die of hunger. Right?"

" Hmmm... " what's wrong with him? Why was he behaving like that in front of a stranger?

He waited till that man was talking to me and once he left, Devil caught my hand and said., " Come Sandhya, I am famished. "

We all shared our food and after making more diet plans, I presented them to the concerned person and my duty hours got over.

Gautam Ji came towards us and said, " So love birds, what is going on? Hey, let's go for some movie, Maurvi is tensed for a few days. I need to distract her, she would not be able to refuse if you both are coming. "

" Ok, we will try... But my family is busy in shopping and they keep dragging me... " I said.

" I will ask aunty. She would not refuse me. " Devil said.

" But why is Maurvi tense? " I asked.

" She is having some problems with her best friend. Her friend is in some problem and Maurvi is hell-bent to solve her problems. while her friend is behaving weirdly. She is really upset. "

" Oh, ok sure, we will try to make it. " I said to him and he smiled at me.

" Ok, bye Gautam. " Devil said bye to him.

" Hey, Vikram... Why are you in a hurry? "

" I am going to her place for dinner." He replied.

" Hmmm.... That's why. Bye, enjoy your self. " We said bye to him and came back to my home.

My mom and aunt had prepared the feast for all of us. Vidhi had gone shopping with my parents and Bua Ji.

The table was already laid. We all settle down to eat. He shifted his chair a bit towards my side, our arms were touching now. He was smiling like anything. He even took permission from my family for me to accompany him for the movie and the friends get together.

I looked at Vidhi, she was smiling shyly. What happened to her, why was she so shy??
