Chapter 41

Sandhya's POV



I was trying to teach a lesson to Gautam Ji. He always teases Si... Vikram. So I gave him extremely spicy Vada pav. But after I gave water and Gulab jamun to Gautam Ji, I turned and was shocked to see Vikram eating that spicy Vada pav. why??? He can't eat spicy food.

He said that he wanted to prove that it doesn't matter what I make or don't make at all for him. He still wants to marry me.

I was touched by his emotions. I wanted to hug and tell him about my feelings. But could not.

Gautam Ji started a horror movie after saying that girls can't handle horror movies... Though both Maurvi and I were not interested... But he dared us.

Gautam Ji switched off the lights and started his home theatre with surrounding sounds. Maurvi was sitting beside me with both of them on the sides.

After about 15 minutes, I was getting a bit scared so I closed my eyes. Vikram Ji whispered, "Open your eyes, sweetheart. " I looked at him. He was smirking at me.

I picked up a cushion and hugged it. It was a scary one. Slowly, I hid my face behind it.

Just then, I felt something touched my shoulder. I flinched and jerked away from it with a shriek. Then I realised that devil touched me on my shoulder. I glared at him, while he was grinning like an idiot.

" Aww... you got scared darling. Here, hold my hand, I will keep you safe. "

He caught my hand in his large one and placed his other arm around my shoulder.

" Maurvi, you can stop watching if you want. " Vikram said.

" No, I will prove it to him that girls can handle anything." She said. But I could not handle it.

" See, I can't handle it anymore... " I was saying but Maurvi stopped me

" Oh, no Sandhya... Please don't. Otherwise, Mr Doctor would say that he won. I will keep watching, even if I am not very comfortable. " I nodded.

I was getting very scared now. I was sinking in Vikram's side. There was a scene when the evil spirit was standing right at the back of the female actor. I hid my face between the cushion and his chest.

He tightened his arm around me. My ear was almost on his heart. He kissed my head and said, " It is ok, Don't watch. Just stay like that." But the moment the girl shrieked, I flinched and held his hand very tightly.

" Don't worry, I am here..." He patted on my shoulder. I just loved being in his arms. But someone please stop this... Or I am going to have nightmares. Just then I felt something moving on my upper arm in a circular motion.

I started panicking and was about to shout when devil whispered, " Relax !! There is no ghost, I am practising my drawing skills.

I swear, I could kill him with my bare hands. I was so scared and he was practising his drawing skills???

" What??? Are you crazy? I would have died of a heart attack... that the ghost must be right behind me... and you were practising your drawing skills??? You are too much... "

" You don't want me to draw circles? Fine, I'll draw something else. Don't get annoyed, sweetheart. "

" What drawing? Circles? Who is drawing?? Like right now?? What is going on?? "

Gautam Ji asked. Maurvi also looked confused.

" Nothing, you concentrate on your movie. " Devil said to him.

" Ok, sweetheart no circles, I promise. Let's not disturb them and watch a movie." Devil smiled sweetly at me.

" No, I don't want to watch it. "

" C'mon... Don't be a spoilsport. See they are enjoying the movie. I told you I will not draw circles..."

" I don't want you to draw anything. Ok ?? "

" What the hell is going on... ? What are you doing? At least tell us what are you talking about?? And Vikram, why are you practising drawing?? Your drawing is very good, you have drawn so many diagrams during our medical college. "

" Will you please shut up for some time Gautam? "

" Ok, then you also keep quiet and let me enjoy my movie." Gautam Ji said to the devil and he nodded.

" Ok, I will not draw anything. No drawing practice today. Ok?? Now, calm down and let Maurvi complete her dare. Ok, if you don't want to see the Devils in the movie, then watch your handsome devil. " He winked at me and told them to play the movie. Gautam ji had paused the movie which he started again.

He is too much, always teasing me. Next time, I will make his food 3 times spicier. My face started getting red as he was smirking at me. I wanted to get away from him.

" I am hungry. " I took a plate served everything and started eating. He pulled me towards him and started eating from my plate. I tried to get away from him but he tighten his arm around my waist. I glared at him.

He bent his head near my ear and whispered, " What?? Now don't say that you are not liking being in my arms or I would have to prove you wrong like I usually do. I am enjoying us sitting like this watching movie. So please don't spoil it. For your information, I won't mind proving that you are loving it as well. "

The movie was going on and I was watching everywhere but on screen. Maurvi was watching movie thought she looked petrified. Brave girl... Gautam Ji was looking at her with so much amusement. They are so cute... Devil was looking at me with a smile on his face.

The movie was over and Maurvi got up and looked at Gautam Ji and said, " Girls can handle everything, see I finished the whole movie." She was smiling like anything. I smiled at her and nodded.

" Yes, you can handle anything... But my poor arm... " Said, Gautam Ji.

" What do you mean?? " She asked glaring at him.

" You were holding my hand so tightly that your nails left marks on my arm. Look, I must say you are very brave." He smiled at her.

" Sorry about that... But you said that girls can't handle it, but I did. So, take your words back..." She smiled sweetly.

" Yes, she is right. Well done Maurvi." Said devil and all of us nodded.

" Hey, what were you fighting about sometime back? Something about drawing? " Gautam Ji asked.

" Nothing, I was drawing circles on her arm and she thought that some ghost did it. She was really scared and was about to faint because of that. " Devil told them.

They burst out laughing, I glared at him but he pulled me in his arms and said, " Sorry sweetheart, But I couldn't resist it. Next time I will draw hearts." I pushed him but he was holding me tightly. Both Maurvi and Gautam Ji again burst out laughing.

" C'mon yaar, Now let's eat. I am really hungry again, actually, I skipped my lunch as well.. "

She said and we went to reheat the food in the microwave.
