Sandhya's POV



Tea and breakfast were served. We all were enjoying.. all the friends were telling about their school days. We all had an amazing time.

Mehul Ji said, " I always loved this place and all 5 of us used to come here whenever we could. But it is even better now. Thanks to my talented and beautiful wife. " We clapped for her while she looked lovingly at her husband.

" Yes, this place is much more beautiful than it was. Hey, you never had that pond with the fountain in the corner. It is beautiful and mesmerizing. Especially during night. I loved sitting by it. It was very calming and soothing." He said stealing a glance at Maurvi.

Wow !!! She blushed like anything. I looked at her and raised my eyebrow, but she shook her head very slightly. And avoided looking at anyone. What is going on?? But the tension between them was considerably less.



Vikram's POV



Sandhya's phone started ringing. She looked at it and picked it up, " Hi Shubh... How are you?...... Yes, this place is amazing..... I will be back by evening. .... What? Oh, God...... I almost forgot... But what do I do now? Please can you go alone this time?..... You are in Jodhpur?? But why? Oh, God... I don't want to disappoint them... But how would I manage from here?.... What happened to her?

I went near her and asked,

" What happened to you ?"

" Nothing, Actually I had to go somewhere with Shubh today. But, I am here and he is in Jodhpur helping dad in doing the preparation. " She told me but looked disappointed.

" It's ok, sweetheart. You can go there in one or two days. " I said but she just nodded.

I called Shubh, the bell was ringing, he picked up the phone.

" Hello? Hi, Vikram Ji. How are you? "

" Hi Shubh, I am good. I wanted to ask you something. What did you remind her about? She is looking really upset. Where were you both supposed to go? "

" She is like that. I gave her a call to remind her that it was the first Sunday of the month. So it was time to go to the orphanage. The kids over there always waiting for us. They would be very disappointed if we don't turn up. But none of us can go today, so she is upset." He said.

" Oh, ok... We will reach there but what about the things you distribute there... I mean we would be very late if we have to buy gifts and food now. As I think we would have to give the order in advance for that amount of food. Right? "

" Oh, I can manage that. I will order food and everything and ask them to deliver them there. We already bought some books and toys. I will tell someone to pick up those things from home and take them to the orphanage as well. She would be delighted if she would be able to go. I will arrange everything. Thanks "

" You don't need to thank me, Shubh. I would love to do that."

" Bye, everything would be there, by the time you reach there. I'll send you the location of the place. Bye, take care. "

" Bye, Shubh... "

I went to my room and got ready. I asked Gautam to come with me. We went to the local market and bought some more gifts, chocolates and 4 kilograms of sweets for the kids and kept them in our car only... We played a few games... All four of us even did swimming whiles girls chatted on. It was an amazing short trip. It rejuvenated us.

We all clicked many pictures. And then had our lunch before we head back to our normal life.

We all said bye to each other with the promise to take out time for each other and meet frequently like this time.

I drove to the orphanage and Sandhya was so surprised. She looked at me and I just nodded and smiled. She was very happy but still confused.

" Don't look so surprised sweetheart. I asked Shubh once I saw that you were sad after talking to him. Now let's go inside. Children must be waiting for you. " She was grinning.

" But I didn't get anything for them. "

" Let's go inside. Everything is already here. Shubh made all the arrangements. He ordered food, gifts books and toys. And we bought some gifts, chocolates and sweets as well. " She hugged me again.

We went inside and saw that all the kids were very excited to see her. They all came and surrounded her. Some of the little kids were trying to hug her. She picked one little girl in her arms and kissed her cheek. She was genuinely happy...

" Sandhya di, who are these people? Where is Shubh bhaiya? " A few children asked.

" Well kids, Shubh bhaiya was out of Delhi. So I came with my friends. She is Maurvi di and he is Gautam bhaiya. He is a doctor. And he is... Vikram Ji, he is also a doctor. " She smiled at me. Maurvi and Gautam also smiled and then said hello to the kids.

" Hello, kids. Your Sandhya di forgot to tell you something. That she is getting married to me in a few weeks. " Everyone clapped and cheered for us. We started distributing the books, toys, gift etc.

The food was served which Shubh had already ordered. He had ordered pastries, cookies, cutlets, samosas and aaloo pakoras we also kept the sweets there and served them.

The kids looked so happy... All of them wanted to talk to Sandhya. They were telling her some kind of stories. She was helping a little girl to eat the food. She looked so happy with them all. Even Gautam and Maurvi were enjoying... They also distributed the gifts we brought for them. We spent almost two hours there.

She looked so contented. She looked at me and said thanks. I smiled at her.

" Wow Sandhya, you are like a celebrity here. Everyone loves you, you come on the first Sunday of every month? " Maurvi asked.

" Yes, and we love doing it. They are also waiting eagerly for us to visit them. I feel bad that they are less fortunate as they don't have parents to take care of them... We can't do anything about that but at least help in easing the pain away a bit. "

" That's great !! From next time onwards, I will also come with you." Said Maurvi.

" Yes, we all must come, So it is a deal... " Gautam said.

" She even goes to an old-age home once a month. " I told them and she looked very surprised.

" That is great Sandhya. Next time count us in... " Maurvi and Gautam also nodded.

We all came back to our car and slid into it. Gautam slid into the back seat as he was feeling very sleepy and Maurvi sat beside him.

I dropped them at their places. Maurvi was so tired that she did not even get up when we reached her place. Gautam opened the door of her house and then picked her up and took her to her room. Sweet idiot. I don't know what is going into his mind.

He came out after 5 mins and locked her door. He hugged both of us and went to his house as he was also very sleepy.

Why are both of them so sleepy? What did they do last night? Oh, shut up!! Vikram. You can not go there... But I need to talk to him.

Then I went to drop Sandhya to her place. She said thanks to me. And I took her in my arms and kiss her.

" You do not need to say thank you, sweetheart. I loved going there, it gives you so much satisfaction to give something to someone who really needs it. The joy of giving was really good. I would also do it from next time... "

" Bye, good night, my beautiful, blushing fiance. Sleep well and dream about me." She nodded and said, " You too "
