Chapter 69 Midnight Visitors
I am becoming sloppy, but then again, I do not expect some asshole to let himself into my house. Not only is he uninvited, but if I reach for that draw that holds a concealed gun, I will have him dropped in less than five seconds.
But ya, it seems my encounters for the day are not over.
So it is with careful strides that I walk on closer; one never knows maybe the fuck has gone here to end my life. Well, that ain't happening today. For in one…two…three… my fist launches and smashes in the center of his goddamn ugly face.
"What the fuck is that for?" He says as he stumbles backward and hits his head against one of the kitchen cupboards.
"That is for breaking into my house. You can be glad I am not shooting you," I scan his hands only to notice that he is not yielding his gun. "If you are not here to shoot me, then why are you here?"
"I came here to talk."
"Have you never heard of picking up a phone? Or is this how you do business?"
"I did not want anybody to hear me."
"Well, you are unheard here, now what the fuck do you want?"
He looks at me for a few moments, far too long. I know he is sizing me up, and probably think this man, what the fuck does he know about becoming a Mafia Leader. Now, I have news for him; I am still pretty pissed off about being smacked around today and then be told I cannot see the woman I love ever again.
But ya, let us see how much more shit I can get myself into.
I walk on over to the lounge and pour us two shots of whiskey; while I hand it to him, he looks at me and furrows his brows, "Is that it?"
"I can punch you again if you like me too? Now tell me, why are you here?"
"I have come to the conclusion, maybe perhaps a realization, that you are about to make a big ripple in the pond, and I, for one, do not want to be on your wrong side."
I only but cock my head at him and then take another sip of my whiskey, "There must be something in this whiskey."
He bursts out in a burst of uncontrollable laughter; well, let me tell it is fucking scary to listen to. This man might be an asshole, but he can take me down anytime if he wants to.
For a brief moment, there is an uncomfortable silence, then he starts again, "I do not see why we should be sitting on different sides of the fence."
"Ah, let me guess, you want to join ranks? So does this mean I marry your daughter?"
"Yes, about that one."
But just as he is about to carry on, I hear the front door creak open, and a scuffle of feet enter. I softly whisper to him, "Are you alone here, for I ain t expecting any visitors."
He only but shakes his head and retrieves his gun while I slip my hand under the cushion of the chair to find my Ruger. We sit there in silence, waiting for the intruder to make their move and come on closer.
I can hear his breath as he is rapidly breathing and keys dangling as he is slowly moving.
Ya, this must be some complete idiot.
Then in an instant, in three…two…one… I watch as he steps into the lounge. I reach for the lamp and flip the switch on. I am completely shocked…
"Trinity, what are you doing creeping around in the dark in my kitchen?"
"Yes," my other guest on the couch adds, "I would like to know that as well."
Well, fuck. Is this not just dandy?
"Can you fucking Stones not pick up a phone and phone first?"
Trinity snaps her head to the man that is sitting on the couch, and only then does she realize, "Daddy?"
He raises his voice, and I know that this is about to turn into a tantrum, "Trinity, what are you doing here?"
She only but follows him with, "Why are you here, daddy?"
Now I would like to know what both the Stones are doing in my house in the middle of the night sneaking around. Ya, Trinity, I have a fairly good idea, but hey, as for Vic, I don t see him in that way. I can only imagine if they came the other way around. Vic would have caught me banging his daughter.
Fuck.
Just the image of being with Trinity is giving me a goddamn hard-on.
"What the hell are you both doing here?" Then I turn my attention solely on Trinity that is standing there in almost nothing, "Princess, I could have shot you. Damn, woman. Ring the doorbell next time or at least phone."
"Daddy has not given me another phone yet."
I snap my head to Vic, "Really? Now, who is childish?"
"You better watch yourself, Cruz," he tries to warn me, but I soon remind him, "You are in my house, Vic."
I leave the lounge and take a casual walk to my bedroom. I see as Trinity is watching me through the doorway; ya, maybe I should drop my pants just for a second, but let is not tempt her dear old daddy. So I grab a coat from my closet instead and take it to this woman; that problem is not wearing anything but that tiny dress.
"So," I start again. "Vic, what are you doing here? I have a pretty good idea why your daughter is here."
He immediately growls, "Please do not finish that fucking sentence."
I only but mock him as I turn out in laughter, "I am waiting."
"As I said to you, Colton, I do not want to sit on your bad side."
"Now, please explain to me what is my bad side?"
He looks at me with eyes that have turned serious and speaks to me as if he is a father giving a son advice, "This world is going to change you, and when it does, I don t want to be one of the people in your way."
I watch as Trinity becomes excited, "Does it mean that I can see Colton, daddy?"
"I have not decided that Trinity. It does not mean that you are free to see Colton."
Ya, just as I thought that things are going to go my way, I am kicked in the gut again. How does this man foresee I work with him and keep my hands off his daughter. I think that we have proven that I cannot do that.
"So," Vic says to me as he takes the last sip of his whiskey, "What do you say? We work together?"
"I will have to think about this."
"Ah, already thinking like a Boss. Well, you let me know what your decision is then."
With that, Vic rises from the couch and makes his way to the door, but before he leaves, he turns, "Are you coming, Trinity?"
"Daddy, please."
"You have five minutes. I am waiting for you outside."
And out the door, Vic goes, much to my fucking surprise, leaving me alone with his daughter even if it is only for a few minutes.
She saunters over to me, and I pull her against the depths of my chest. I take in a deep breath and press her even deeper. "Princess, I want you."
Instead of answering, she reaches out to me, putting her small, warm hand on the back of my neck. Then she kisses me, first lightly, then more urgent. Her hips are tilted against mine; her breasts are against my chest; her whole body is sending a message that is undeniable.
Ya, there was only one reason she came here.
Then she nibbles my ear, touching my face softly with her fingertips, and she whispers, "You feel so good. I missed this."
"Oh, princess," I gasp as she takes another deep breath.
My restraint snaps, and I push her back against the wall; with only one hand, I grab her by her wrist and pin them tightly above her head. With the other hand, I lift her leg up slowly and run my hand up her thigh until it reaches the seams of her little red dress.
"Mmm, Colton, please."
My hand travels further up her body; I caress her soft, exposed skin. My hands slide to cup her breasts, rolling her nipples between my fingers. My fingers glide back down and slip in between her hot skin and the fabric of her red dress. I explore her sensitive flesh, letting my finger hovering over and ever so near her pussy.
God, there is nothing I want now more than taking her inside and lay her down on and take her body in any and every way that I can.
But…
"You better go before your father comes back up here."
"Please, just one more minute."
"Princess, one more minute, then I will be making love to you."
I see as her face drops, and she gently moves away from my warm embrace, but not before she kisses me with so much hunger, it drives me hard-on even more fucking raging.
"Will I see you again?" so looks at me with those deep brown eyes, and I can see the tears building.
"Yes, princess, I will see you again, I promise."
I know I should not say it, for I know I cannot guarantee it.
Then just as soon as she arrived, I see her disappear again. There is cold ice that settles over my heart as I have to admit to myself that I will not ever be with her again.
Fuck, this hurts so bad.
The hell with life, the hell with fate, none of this is fair. How can you bring two people together and only rip them apart again? Where is the love in that? What is the purpose of finding that special one in your life and then only lose it?
I cannot bear this bullshit. Why the fuck did, I have to go fall in love. But the damn offside about this is that this is not just going to go away.
I never want to forget Trinity.
Fuck, I never want to let go of her either.
I know now what I must do.
So it is with trembling fingers but a clear resolve that I dial the number. It only takes the call but two seconds to be answered.
"I knew you would come to your senses."
"I have only one condition."
"Name it."
"Trinity s hand in marriage."
