Sinful Inspiration

"Can I come in?” Tamera called meekly from the crack of Eva’s office door.

Ushering her in, Eva watched her walk hesitantly across to her seat. "Why are you tiptoeing around me?”

“Because I don’t know what mood you’re going to be in.”

Eva cut her eyes, “I do NOT have a mood.”

Tamera raised her hands defensively. "Listen, I’m not saying I saw you kick the copier across the room the other day for jamming…anddd I’m not also saying that I didn’t see you cry immediately after because it ran out of paper.”

Eva sighed, she had been acting erratically, but between her pregnancy hormones, heartbreak, and hunger, her emotions were all over the place. It’d been three months since Alaric left, and it still cut her like every time she thought about it. "I’m sorry. I promise no angry Eva.”

Tamera scrunched her nose, "Well, you might want to look at the cover they chose for Something Wicked before you decide.”

Eva shook her head in disbelief, "What’s wrong with it? I thought all the pictures looked great.”

Tamera handing her the test copy of the book. "Yeah…but one stood out more than others…”

Eva's hands shook as she stared at the cover of the book. The picture of Alaric on top of her, her hands in his hair, their lips connected. If they were any other people, she would have jumped up and down excited at the sinful way the photo looked on the cover but seeing it was like a direct stab to the heart. A lump formed in her throat, and she pushed the book back to Tamera silently.

"I can get them to change it Eva-really.”

She looked up to the ceiling to avoid the tears, "No, keep it. It really is perfect.”

"Eva-”

"It’s really fine Tamera-it was a great choice.”

Tamera nodded her head and placed her hand on top of Eva’s. "I’m sorry that this happened to you.”

Eva smiled small as she rose. It was the other part she hated about all of this, the pity on everyone’s faces. The part where they thought that she and Alaric started an affair, he’d proposed, and then left when he found out about the baby. It was the only way for the lie about Charles and her pregnancy timeline to add up. She honestly didn’t care about the rumors swirling around her, it was more so what they thought about Alaric.
Knowing people thought he was scum, made her rot inside. Eva turned her attention to her monitor after Tamera left. She felt warmth fall over her, from her son as he again was trying to soothe our pain. She rubbed her belly and smile. "I know little dude, thank you.” He truly was the only thing that was keeping her going.

"You have to work on your stress, Eva.” Lucifer sighed, as she examined her. Handing Eva, a blood cocktail, she sat in a chair nearby.

Eva fumbled with the new ring on her finger. "I’m trying my best…it’s hard.”

"I know…but the thing is…your son…”

Eva's eyes immediately shot up, "What’s wrong with my son?”

Lucifer raised her hands up defensively, “Calm down, he’s fine. It’s you I’m worried about. He’s very protective of you, which is great but as he grows, so does his powers. He’s a baby, he doesn’t have control over them yet and there could be a time where he tries to counter your stress, but instead sends you into shock.”

Eva’s mind immediately went to the night that Alaric healed her. She nodded her head, "I’ll try harder.”

Lucifer gave her a small smile, then she looked at her seriously. "Eva, even though he can’t be here in person, you need to know that Alaric is very much still around you.”

She scoffed, "Really? I would have never expected that they're always in your heart bullshit from you.”

Lucifer studied her but remained quiet. "I stocked your fridge, if you need anything else, don’t hesitate to call.”

Eva nodded and exited the room, excited to finally make her way home.

Showered and finally somewhat relaxed, Eva placed the laptop on her stomach as she laid in bed and began to type. The first half of Something Wicked was almost wrapped up, and she really needed to get a start on the second part. As weird as it was, writing Alaric’s story somehow gave her solace, a type of closeness to him. Unlike the pages of his book, with hers, she could at least decide how the narrative would go.

"Alright…Alaric towered over her and pulled her into his arms. His eyes scrolled down her lips and he smiled his devilish smile…UGH!” This was the part she constantly found herself stuck on. The frustration of wanting the same hands she was writing about, all over her actual body.

"Okay…Eva you can do this. You’ve used your imagination before.” She placed the laptop to the side of her and put her sleep mask over her eyes.

*Skin to skin…flesh touching flesh…strong hands touching…clawing…eyes burning with desire…*

A slight moan escaped Eva’s mouth, her imagination so vivid she could literally feel Alaric’s hand on her bare leg. Slowly sliding up her, it landed just outside her thigh. She parted her legs, her fingers wrapped tightly in the sheets of her bed. Her imagination kicked in more.

*Fingers…inside thighs...pleasurable moans…earth-shattering orgasms…*

Eva fantasized about his hand finding its way to her panties. Pushing them to the side, his hand slowly drew circles on her clit. She retched her head back, the friction of his fingers on her, pushing surges of pleasure through her. Biting the side of her bottom lip, Eva groaned.

"Alaric…”

The pace increased, her legs shaking chaotically,

"FUCK!”

Her back arched, as a strong orgasm pulled through her. Eva ripped the mask off her eyes and looked around the well-lit room. Her lip trembled. "Alaric?” but there was only silence. She breathed in deep, and closed her laptop completely, before turning out her light. Holding her stomach, Eva smiled knowing just how she would finish the end of the chapter.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Alaric watched Eva sleep for a little longer, before closing the portal. He smirked.

*Naughty Little Human.*

It was one of the things on the long list of items he loved about her.

"You know, your father wouldn’t be happy if he saw you doing that.”

Alaric rolled his eyes then winked, "Trust me, If my father watched what we did to one another when I was on Earth, he would have never asked me to come back in the first place.”

Raien pursed his lips, clearly uncomfortable with the conversation, "Your father-"

"My father can request that I be here, can ban me from returning to Earth, but my father said nothing about me giving my wife a little inspiration. By the way, I’d suggest the next time you knock. Eva’s hormones have put both of us in a bit of a frenzy and being ever the doting husband, I refuse to let her deal with those alone.”

Raien sat across from him, "Alaric, she’s not your wife.”

Alaric’s eyes immediately reddened, "She would have been if you didn’t take me…I’d be very careful with what you say next.”

Raien had always been used to Alaric’s temper, but as of late it was much more volatile. He handled his duties extremely well, but his temperament walked a tight rope.

"Have you finished uploading the grand design so I can review it?” Raien shook his head yes. "Good, that’s all,” Alaric said dismissing him.

Raien stood and paused, "Alaric, I know you’re just trying to help, but I don’t think this is what Eva needs.”

Deafening silence. A silence so dark, it even made Heaven slightly blacken. Standing, Alaric glared harshly at Raien as he slowly backed away.

"Let me explain something to you Raien. You, nor my father can tell me shit about what MY wife and MY son need. They NEED me, and you took me, so remember that and get the fuck off your high horse.” He tried his best to calm himself, but Eva was off-limits, he’d told Raien that time and time again. "You better hope there never comes a time when Eva doesn’t need me. You BETTER hope there never comes a time when I don’t feel her love…because both are the only things that are keeping me from sending Heaven straight to Hell. And I'll dance with my dear sister as I watch everything burn to ashes." Raien stared at him in utter fear. "Make yourself invisible for the rest of the day.”

Alaric heard his door close, as he reopened the portal to Eva, the sight of her immediately calming him. Running his hand over it, he watched her smile in her sleep and she felt his hand caress her face.
