Not So Different
*Two Days Later*
*Waylon and Willow*
Willow laid on her bed and twiddled her foot.
"…but Des…you didn’t see what I saw. He literally ripped a man in half! And you remember how we use to be so afraid of the demon thing from Anastasia? That’s what he looked like but bigger!” She sighed. "OF COURSE, I’M SURE THAT’S WHAT HE LOOKED LIKE! Look…I-I’m not against Declan, he’s nice, and so are Alaric and Eva, but I don’t know if I could date something-” She quickly changed her words, not liking the way they sat against her lips, "Someone who could shred a man like that.”
*He’s not a thing*
She couldn’t forget how he’d smiled at her when he picked her up in his arms on their date. The way his eyes widened in confusion and then happiness at the nickname that she’d given him. He struggled with emotion, and yet he tried his hardest to convey them to her. The more she thought about his protective nature, the more she couldn’t help but wonder if Eva was right.
"Des…I need to go okay. Yes, I promise I’ll think about it.” She stood and bit the side of her lip, contemplating her next move.
*W-what if he gets mad at me…would he-*
She closed her eyes. Remembering how full of rage he was, and how he returned to normal upon seeing her.
*He could have hurt me, he could have killed me and Jermaine*
She was scared. Still, it would be a lie if she said she didn’t miss him. Before her mouth could catch up with brain, she murmured low, "Waylon” Her eyes widened, "No wai-.” She tumbled to the floor. Landing on top of a mountain, she looked down to see Waylon’s eyes.
"Any reason you keep attacking me *Lolo*?”
Her lips parted, "W-what did you call me?”
For a moment, she could have sworn his face reddened. "Well…you gave me a nickname. I thought maybe it would be okay if I gave you one.”
"I like it.” She whispered, and he wrapped his arms around her. When she didn’t flinch, he held her tighter and pushed himself to admit his feelings.
"I’ve missed you a lot.”
He was trying again. And feeling her heart tug, she laid against his chest. "I’ve missed you a lot too Way.” Squirming from his arms, she stood and extended her hand. "Then again, I guess you could pick up my entire house if you wanted to.”
He smiled small and took her hand and stood up. "I should go.”
"NO WAIT!”
"You didn’t sound like you meant to call me.”
She looked down to the floor. "I did…I just kind of panicked that's all.”
He hated hearing her words. "You’re afraid of me.”
She remained silent and refused to look at him, "I don’t know if I should be or not.”
He sighed and folded his arms to his chest. "I can’t answer that for you…I know that I wouldn’t hurt you, but you have to know that for yourself, not because I told you that.”
She quickly wiped her eyes. "You scare me.”
"I know and I’m sorry.”
She saw his face soften. She wrapped her arms around his waist, feeling him still. "I don’t think-no-I KNOW you wouldn’t hurt me, but I think there’s something wrong with me.”
He pulled her away from him. "Why would you say that?”
"Because I wanted you to kill him, that’s what really scared me.” She saw his head retch back, and she hid her face.
"Willow…” He whispered slowly.
Her eyes teared again. "Something’s wrong with me Waylon! You could literally crush me and I still I-”
Waylon bent down and tilted his head looking at her deadly. "You still want me.” She stood silent. "Do. You. Still. Want. Me. Lolo?”
She balled her hands at her sides. "Yes. I still want you.” She was irritated. Mainly at the fact that all he had to do was gently demand her and she would spill her soul.
Reaching down, he lifted her chin. "There is NOTHING wrong with you. You are strong, beautiful and fuck-I want you just as badly.” Her face flushed and she looked away, but Waylon turned grabbed her chin, and made her look back at him. The fire in her eyes made him smirk.
*There it is*
“Can I see?” She asked sweetly.
"See what?" He heard her blow steam from her nose.
"Don’t play with me Waylon.”
He shook his head, "I’m not, but it’s a lot to take in Willow and I don’t want you to be afraid of me.”
"I WANT TO SEE!” She stomped and he couldn’t help but chuckle.
"My little brat.”
Waylon wouldn’t show it, but he was afraid too. Afraid of her taking one look at his true form and hiding from him again. Afraid that she would leave and take his heart right along with her. He backed away from her and blew steam and slowly started to shift. Willow’s lips parted, but she held in her scream. His horns protruded, and she could see the scars in them. His eyes gleamed red, as his body grew in size. His fangs dropped, and his large red wings extended. His body shined from the hard cast over it.
*He doesn’t look like what I thought he did*
He looked like a much larger, redder version of Waylon.
"I don’t hate it.” She said placing her hands on her hips.
"But do you fear it?” He retorted.
She shook her head no. Walking to him, she looked up at him and chuckled, "Your head is going to hit my ceiling.”
He rubbed the back of his neck. "I promise not to destroy your house.”
She breathed in, "Can you um-pick me up? I can hardly see your face.” Trying his best to be gentle, Waylon pulled Willow into his arms. She caressed his face. "So, are you like impenetrable?”
He nodded, "I prefer to fight without my defenses, I find it to be more thrilling….though it does leave scars sometimes.” She ran her hands against the scars of his horns, and she heard him inhale sharply.
"No one’s ever done that before.” He whispered.
"Why?”
'I don’t allow people as close as I allow you.”
She kissed his cheek and smiled, "Same here.”
Waylon couldn’t understand what was happening to him, but every time she looked at him with no fear, it did something to his heart. "I want to kiss you, but it’s not possible in this form.” He put her down and shifted. "Willow I-”
"Shut up.” She pulled him to her, and their lips clashed. Backing her to the bed the two fell on top. Straddling him, Willow quickly removed her shirt and pulled away his. Waylon lifted and tore away her bra. "I’m going to make you start replacing these.” She said glaring at him.
He laughed, "I’ll get you as many as you want.” Taking her breast in his mouth, Waylon hardened at her moans. "Take these off!” He demanded and Willow quickly pulled off her pajama shorts. He eyed her. "You don’t sleep in underwear?”
"Too restricting.”
His eyes tinged red at her words, and he pulled her to the top of his shoulder. Willow slammed her hand into the wall, feeling his tongue against her clit. “SHIT!” She screamed as he bit it gently, teasing the flesh between his teeth. "Wait!” She panted, and he stopped.
"What’s wrong?”
Willow climbed down. Rotating her body on top of his, she pulled at his pants. "Do the thing! Where you make them disappear!”
Waylon waved his hand, leaving him in his briefs. "Willow…I don’t think-” She placed her hand in his briefs. Her eyes widened, as she felt how large he truly was. He felt her body still and for the first time in his life, Waylon felt shy about his size. "Willow. I mean it. We really don’t have to. No human has.”
Taking that as a challenge, Willow released him from his briefs. Waylon gripped hard into her thighs, feeling her mouth on him. He pulled her thighs back to his face and replaced his tongue against her skin. Pulling as much of him as she could in her mouth, Willow pleasured Waylon back. The two ever competitive tried their best to make the other fall apart first. Waylon could feel the back of her throat, as her saliva fell. She moaned loudly, her legs shaking, causing her mouth to vibrate against him.
"FUCK!” Waylon roared against her as he bit into her once again. Willow slammed her hand into the bed, as the two released at the same time. Pulling him from her mouth, Willow made her way up to Waylon. He kissed her hard. "Fucking hell Willow.”
Her face reddened and she buried it into his chest, "Don’t embarrass me.”
"Sorry…it’s just-fucking hell!”
"Back at you.” She replied, her orgasm still pulsing through her. Willow held onto him, "Will you stay?” He contemplated her request. Waylon had never done anything so intimate with anyone before. Her green eyes looked at him. "I understand. I know that cuddling is frivolous.”
"I want to stay.” He watched her eyes brighten.
"Really?!” She hugged him tightly making him laugh. Holding her in his arms, he saw the glowing red light of the ruby ring on her necklace, and Waylon soon fell into a deep slumber.

"ALARIC!” Eva screamed, waking up her husband. “LOOK! LOOK! LOOK!” She bounced up and down pointed to the book. Rubbing his eyes, he read the words.
*Waylon found himself at battle with his heart. War being the only thing to bring him any feeling until his betrothed showed him, they were but two of a kind. No longer fearing him, or herself, she challenged him to do what he’d never done before. His heart leading in victory, the two became the second to pass the first of the Four Horsemen’s test. *
