.15. Boyfriend?

"You? Why are you here?" Camilla wiped her tears and looked away from the person standing behind her. She always hated looking weak, and she would never give him the satisfaction in seeing her broken.

"Why not? I did make it pretty clear that I was looking for you, didn't I?" The male shrugged. He didn't seem bothered by her shocked state, but he did have enough decency to stay away from her.

"It's odd, because the last time when we met, you didn't seem concerned about me, Blake," Camilla snarled. She tried to contain her emotions, but it was getting pretty tricky when her former best friend stood there as if nothing happened. He acted like he still had the right to call himself Camilla's best friend. But he didn't, not after what he did.

"Who said that I am now? I don't recall mentioning anything about being worried. I started wondering if you left already; your house is still surrounded by security, but the guys told me that you left for a while. I have nothing better to do since because of you, my best friend got grounded- decided to see if you grew a pair to come here finally. You did, surprisingly, you did. Congratulations on finally getting out of the pussy box, now leave so my friends can breathe and live without problems," Blake's voice was laced in pure venom. Camilla knew him for years, but this was the first time when she heard an actual hatred in his voice.

She aimlessly stared at the gravestones and thought about how petty Blake was. Like a child- he didn't get what he wanted, so the male does everything to hurt people around him. Camilla smiled, the thought of leaving a toxic environment pleased her. The faster she goes, the better for her, and the whole pack.
Unlike the old times, Camilla didn't feel obligated to respond to him. Sometimes it's better to ignore the bully and live life as it is.

"The silent treatment doesn't work on me; you know that. Anyway, I hope you'll be gone by the end of the week; we don't need the smell of rogues around here when Zane becomes the new Alpha. You better hurry up, he won't be as kind as his father. Especially towards dirt such as yourself," Blake laughed, startling Camilla.

She bit onto her lip to keep quiet. It was an excellent way to distract herself from the pain her former best friend tried to force on her. She didn't need more tears or arguments with someone. One day she will remember Blake as a fantastic friend and leave the hurt behind. Sadly not everyone could be as understanding as Camilla was.
She felt his movement closer to her back and mentally prepared herself to lunge forward, but Blake didn't get close enough.

The guard noticed that Camilla was taking too much time and followed her scent into the graveyard. His job was to keep her safe; the unique beauty of the woman was just another perk of the assignment. The guard grabbed Blake by the collar and led him away, leaving Camilla alone.

He dragged the bully outside the graveyard and pushed him on the ground. Blake kept staring at the man wide-eyed.

"Didn't your no good of a fucking parents told you that graveyards are a sacred place? No, you have to be the little cunt you are, and come here to ruin the moment. Let me tell you one thing, and listen carefully- if I ever catch you near Camilla, closer than ten feet, I will rip you to shreds. Got it?" The guard growled, gracefully showing off his razor-sharp canine teeth.

Blake stuttered; it took some time for him to regain the ability of speech. As soon as he registered what happened, the young male stood up and glared at the guard.

"Try me; I'm one of Alpha's son's best friends. Do your best, bitch. Let's see how a tiny, unimportant bodyguard will get out of that mess," Blake wanted to laugh in the guard's face, but his victory was way too short-lived.

"Ha, who said I'm a fucking bodyguard?" The man grinned. He came up with an idea while he dragged Camilla's bully out of the graveyard. The idea of the century.

"I said. There isn't any other logical explanation as to why you are here, protecting Camilla like a guard dog."

"There is one, but your caveman brain will never think far enough to catch on hints. I would write down the reason why I'm here, and you still wouldn't understand," the guard was having too much fun while messing with the boy. Who would have thought that a quick trip to the graveyard could end up in such a funny scene?

"Alright, tough guy, entertain me. Tell me, why are you here? Taking poor Camilla to meet her family would be a reason number one. Guarding her would be yet another reason. Is there any more, or are you just pretending to care to get into her pants? You shouldn't because Camilla would sleep with you even without asking. That's how she is- acting like an innocent girl while the whole school had fucker her in the janitor's closet," Blake laughed, once again feeling like a winner. Nobody could even imagine that such a sweet and caring person could actually be so evil. No wonder people say that there are some individuals to avoid- Blake was slowly but surely turning into one like that.

"Almost guessed, but since I'm in such a good mood, I will let you try again. Don't rush; take your time and think. I'm sure sooner or later, your walnut-sized brain will start functioning."
The guards leaned against his car, crossing arms in front of his chest.

Only now Blake noticed how humungous the male was. He stood at least full six feet, three, if not even taller. The man was well built; he looked like muscles started growing upon muscles each time he flexes. The male's green eyes stood out in comparison with his dirty blonde hair. Blake was the type of person who used to observe people; he knew what was considered beautiful and not. He did take his time to research men's fashion last year also. Soon after his crush rejected him- Blake did everything to find out what type of men attracted women and how he was supposed to look like.
The only difference between them was that the guard didn't care about his looks- male was as effortless as a rock. Blake, on the other hand, spent an extra hour each morning to polish his appearance. After a while of uncomfortable silence, Blake finally spoke up again.

"You pity her. There can't be any other reason; now I get it. You're from some kind of miserable charity organization, running around to please low life skanks," Blake shrugged his shoulders.

When the young male glanced at the pissed off guard- he paled.

"You entitled little piece of shit," the guard snarled, stepping closer to Blake. With each step the massive male took towards him, the young man took one back. Blake couldn't put his mind on why the male reacted with such aggression.

"Chill out, man, no need to get your fucking pants on fire. You told me I could guess, and I did. Not like you're bothering to tell me anyway," Blake tried his best to seem calm even though he was screaming mentally. His heart raced like crazy, and the shifter in front of him most likely heard the proof of his fear.

"Listen here, and listen carefully," the guard growled. He stopped two feet from Blake, making sure that the distance was safe enough to react yet intimidating for the young male.
"I have no idea where your shitty self came, but nobody cares. You comeOf course- what could be easier than attacking a defenseless woman at her weakest point. You're smart- almost. That's as much praise as I can give you. For your questions, I still can't understand why I must explain why I am around her. It's not like she's your property, right? But then again, if you don't know who I am or why I'll stick around for a long time- you might try to hurt her behind my back. Here for your answer- I am here because Camilla is my girlfriend, which makes me her boyfriend. Is the answer clear enough, or should I add details about how often we fuck, or what are our top favorite poses?" The male grinned. He was a good liar, deep down, hoping that Camilla would play along with him. The show he put on was a pretty risky move- he did want to take Camilla out, but she might refuse after finding this out.

Blake opened and closed his mouth like a fish, he wanted to say something, but the man left him speechless.

"Aiden? What are you both doing here? Is everything alright?" Camilla approached them, looking a lot better than before. The guard had to hide the surprise as she got his name correctly. Or maybe she managed to notice it somewhere.
For a split second, Aiden tried to come up with an idea for his next move, but instead of planning- he acted instinctively.

"Oh, nothing, babe," Aiden smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. He tried to keep up with the show, and something in him kept screaming that Camilla knew what kind of a game he was playing.
"I ran into your friend earlier, sure you remember, and we kinda chatted a bit." Aiden wrapped his arms around Camilla's waist and pulled her in. He held her tightly, reminding a protective, possessive mate. The next moment Aiden turned his head to face Blake.
"Am I right, friend?" He pushed words through gritted teeth as if telling him to play along.

Blake nodded his head violently, ready to agree with whatever Aiden said. Little did he know that he was the one to be played.

"Oh, that's amazing. I'm a bit tired, so I will sit down while you bid goodbyes. We will have to hurry if we want to get there on time," Camilla pecked Aiden's cheek and sat in the car. This time she took the front passenger seat to make the whole setting look more realistic.

Blake watched as Camilla moved away from them and gulped. God knows what the male could do to him. Aiden didn't lose any time- he moved closer to Blake and offered him a hand to shake.
"Approach my girl ever again, and I promise that this was the say when you walked, grabbed things, caught on scents, or ate. I will fuck you up so damn badly even your parents won't be able to recognize you anymore," the male shook Blake's hand, smiled, and left the young man standing behind.

Blake watched how the car disappeared from his vision and grabbed the mobile phone out of his pocket. Since Zane blocked everyone out- the only way he could catch his new friend was by using a phone. The Alpha-to-be didn't pick up the calls; it took Blake a good twenty minutes to succeed.

"Sup, bro?" Zane answered the phone.

"Duce, I have some interesting news for you," Blake nearly yelled out the words. Finally, he found out something first. Finally, he will be the one to tell Zane about all details and plans.

"Great, I'm all ears," Zane chuckled. The sound in the background was awful, so both males had to wait till it stopped.
"Sorry, my mother's being a neat freak. Carry on."

"I met Camilla a couple of minutes ago. She was crying over her parents in the graveyard, but that's not the most interesting part of the story," Blake sounded proud of himself, but who wouldn't.

"Go on?" Zane hoped that showing more interest in what Blake will say might bring honest answers. Blake was a crappy liar, but he was a fast learner. It wouldn't be a surprise if the young male would try to hide any kind of information.

"She wasn't alone. This massive, super tall monster was protecting her. I thought he was a bodyguard. But it turns out he's a boyfriend," Blake bubbled in the speed of life.
He always did- stress caused Blake to act weirdly.

"Wait. What? Can you repeat that?"

"What? Bodyguard?" Alright, maybe Blake wasn't quite the smartest or most good looking cookie in the cookie jar, but he did try to be one.

"No, what this dude is for Omega?"Zane could feel how his blood started boiling; all he needed was proof that Blake wasn't lying.

"Boyfriend?" Blake raised an eyebrow.

"Fuck!" Zane hissed and ended the call.
