Chapter Fifteen

"I don't want you as my girlfriend anymore." Your heart beat faster and you were immediately enveloped in pain. It wasn't just my hands that were shaking but my whole body. Tears first fell from my left eye, along with sobs I couldn't stop.
"Joanna, I don't want you as my girlfriend anymore." Justin said again. I'm slowly getting weaker from what Justin is saying. Fortunately, his car was just behind me, so I had someone to lean on so I didn't have to I ended up sitting on the floor.
There are no words that hurt at this time, to explain what I feel. Until I couldn't stop it anymore and I started crying in front of him, no matter what I did to cover my mouth, my sobs still kept coming out.
Why? Why doesn't he want me to be his girlfriend? Is it because I always tell him that I'm not ready to meet his parents? Is it because I haven't introduced him to Mommy yet? I thought does he understand? What happened? Has anyone else found him willing to meet his parents and vice versa?
There were so many questions in my mind, but the pain in my heart was overpowering so I couldn't ask him all those questions, I couldn't do anything but cry and cry in front of him.
"Joanna, I don't want you as my girlfriend anymore." The third time he repeated it to me again. It's annoying! If he can catch feelings unlimited!
He slowly approached me so I had a chance to caress him on his chest while you couldn't stop crying. Very painful. My heart hurts so much that it reaches my stomach, it's like butterflies are eating my insides little by little.
Justin grabbed both of my waists and then he completely hugged me to stop me from punching his chest. So, that's why he brought me here break up with me? Shame on his effort! I just cried on his chest, even the white long-sleeves he was wearing, which were folded up to his elbows, were already wet with my tears.
I also felt his successive kisses on my head and then he bent down so that we were face to face. He closed both my cheeks in his palms and then he smiled at me. Are you teasing me?! It's hard because he knows I love him so much!
"Joanna, I I don't want you as my girlfriend anymore."
"Y-yeah! You don't have to repeat that to my face!" I answered him. The mokok just laughed at me until his facial expression gradually became serious.
"You're not my girlfriend anymore..." He told me without emotion. Yes! I'm not his girlfriend anymore if not! I even tried to get out of his grip but I couldn't because one of his hands was like iron when he hugged my right waist.
"...because remember you are already my fiancée." And then he took your hand as he was wearing the engagement ring he gave you again. When I went home to Mommy, I took it off so no one would know I was engaged. He raised his hand and then kissed her back, which made me stop crying. Justin and I stared at each other for a while until he himself broke the silence between us.
"Happy April Fool's Day, Baby." He told me following his non-stop laughter. I immediately hit him on the arm.
"Urrggh! Whist you man! Whist! You're crazy!" When I told him, I was very weak and I didn't stop beating his arm even though he was on his feet. After a while when I got tired, I stopped hitting him and then he wiped the dried tears on my cheeks and the corners of my eyes.
"Babe, where are we going?" I asked Justin as he pulled me to the back of the mansion after he wiped my tears and let me rest for a while, I was too tired to cry.
"As long as we're close." He answered me. My eyes widened when we entered a door and saw a lot of sunflowers on my right and left side. A sunflower farm!
"Wow! It's beautiful. Whose plants are these?" I asked him but I didn't hear any answer from him. I didn't sculpt him because I was busy I just admire the beauty of sunflowers. It's obviously a pet, isn't it because of the beauty of the big flowers of sunflowers that are really bright yellow in color.
We walked through the long sunflower field and I even stopped to rest, take a selfie and take a picture of the huge sunflowers. I would like to take home even just a piece. Justin is inquisitive.
Just in case I look back at him, he's a little far away from me. Geez! Didn't he even notice that I wasn't following him anymore? His legs are so long! So the man of his step. Fortunately, I ran fast so I caught up with him. I put my arm in his hand so he turned to me.
"Babe, sunflowers are beautiful! Can I have one?" I asked him and I really gave him puppy eyes to make sure I could get him to say yes to him.
He smiled at me and then he gave me a quick kiss on the tip of my nose and then he whispered yes. I immediately hugged him so tightly that we stopped walking.
"Get one now, Babe... you'll be needing that later." He whispered to me and then he broke away from our hug. I frowned.
"Yes, I need one of those, I want to take it home!" I happily answered him. He stared at me first and then shook his head.
After taking a sunflower that was almost as tall as half of my body, Justin and I continued walking again and finally after a hundred years of travel we reached the end of the sunflower field.

"Uncle, thanks for coming." Justin greeted the man and then they shook hands.
"It's okay Justin. So, is it him?" And then the man turned his gaze to me. I don't understand what they are talking about and why does Justin call him Tito? Are they related? Justin answered all my questions when he spoke.
"Yes Uncle." Justin said with a smile and you could really hear the joy in his voice. Justin's Uncle nodded and then Justin and I introduced each other.
"Joanna, Baby this is Tito Diego Smith, Dad's brother."
"Uhh... hello." I shyly told him and then I reached out my hand to him. He accepted it with a smile. "Joanna. It's Joanna Cruz." I'll add more. He smiled and nodded at me. But I'm still really wondering why his Uncle is with us now? My question was immediately answered by –
"Tito Justin will officiate our wedding Baby." And then he hugged me and whispered –
"I told you, I don't want you as my girlfriend anymore because before this day ends you are going to be my wife."
