Chapter Forty-six

At first, I was thinking twice about shooting, why is the woman looking at me, then she was still smiling, but I just saw her mixing in front of me, wondering if she put something on it and I thought she was mean to me. It doesn't matter, I don't get drunk easily.
First, I put a little shot, of course I tasted it first. The taste is okay, you mix tea and then gin. Until I didn't notice I had already finished a bottle but still nothing i'm right I looked in front of me again when the man approached me and then asked if it was another C2Gin. I just nodded, two three, four, five until I couldn't count how many bottles I had.
But when I peed, I didn't know that I was drunk, because I almost sat down again, but I was holding onto the bar counter. The woman even asked if I was okay but I ignored her, I just went straight in the bathroom but I immediately changed my mind when I saw the arrangement of the bathroom.
I went back to the bar counter again and then left a few thousand each and then went out to get a drink, only to notice that it was late and the rain was still heavy. It's a good thing that I parked my car not that far away, but I still couldn't avoid getting wet.
I want nothing more than to talk to Joanna. Maybe that dusty Dustin has already left their house but that man will really hit me when I catch up with him.
It's getting late and I'm dizzy as fuck. I just want to close my eyes and sleep but I need to see my wife. I need to talk to her and explain everything. Then the next thing I know, I am in front of their house, I can't even remember how I got here. Slippery road, heavy rain and I'm still dizzy but I thank God for making me safe while I'm on my way here.
I don't care about the heavy rain; I went out of my mind car and then I leaned on my car. I am trying to decide if I'll knock on their door or just stay here but its f ucking raining and I am soaking wet now. Sigh. With my blurry vision I looked at my wrist watch and was surprised to see, it's already ten in the evening, for sure she's asleep by now.
I don't want to disturb her sleep anyway, I know she had been crying earlier and it's all because of fvcking me. Oh my! So I'll just wait here until she comes out of the house. As seconds turns to hours, I can't help but to get f ucking cold. I can feel the speed of my pain now, the dizziness I feel is not because of the drunkenness because I have a fever.
I can feel the cooling of my body but I'm getting hot. When I can't take it anymore, I fished my phone out of my pocket, I even needed to blink for how many times just so I could type my message correctly.
[Joanna.] That was my first message. I really hope she responds but minutes had passed I haven't received any. So, I wrote another message for her.
[Why are you not answering your phone?] My patience is getting thin, d amn it!
[Damn Wife! I am fucking worried! Answer your d amn phone.]

[That's it! I am here at your outside your house.]

But a few minutes have passed and I still haven't received a response from her. So, I decided to put my phone back on my pocket and just stare at her house door.
Until you called my name. I thought I was just hallucinating everything that is happening now. I am seeing Joanna in front of me, she is encouraging me while repeatedly calling my name. Oh Maybe this is the effect of what I had drunk earlier plus the dizzyness I am feeling right now.
That's why I'm seeing my wife and she's even calling me that is next to impossible. She's mad at me and she chose to be with Dustin. I understand, I turn her down again and the worst part in front of my employees. I tried to smile at her and call her 'wife'.
"Are you drunk?" She's asking me something but I can't understand or hear her. The rain's drops noise plus the thunder's roars is enough for me not to hear her.
"Why did you get drunk?" She told me something again but my head ache's throbbing so much that I don't have time to understand what she's saying. And it looks like he's paralyzed because he still hit me, I wasn't expecting it so I lost my balance, it's a good thing and he quickly grabbed my hand. I leaned on him and we were both wet from the rain.
"Because you don't want to talk to me." I don't want him to get angry with me even though I don't understand what he is saying he said I tried to explain why I am here. I like the smell of her neck that's why I brought my head closer to her neck.
"Justin?" He called me again but I can't fight it anymore. I just want to rest so my head's ache will just f ucking stop.
"I'm glad you're awake now Justin." As soon as I opened my eyes, Lola's serious and stern voice immediately greeted me. I thought it was my fault that the tone of his voice was too big.
I rubbed it my eyes and then my forehead hit me because I still feel a little dizzy like the effects of a hangover.
"There's Advil and water on your side table, drink that to get rid of your dizziness and then come downstairs and we'll talk." He told me authoritatively and it looked like he was really angry because he didn't even wait for my answer, he stood up from where he was sitting and then he left my room. I still closed my eyes tightly when he pushed it to close it my door

I rubbed my forehead again and quickly went downstairs to find Joanna at Grandma's. I know, I know if I wasn't just hallucinating last night. Joanna was really with me; she went home with me.
Maybe, maybe she's still here and having breakfast with my Grandma. That's why I went straight to the dining area but I only found Lola, eating breakfast alone. I creased my forehead and asked her where's my wife but I didn't get an answer from her I decided to sit down.
"If you're looking for her, for sure she's busy doing something to get an annulment paper."
"And why would she do that?" I couldn't help but be irritated by what Grandma told me. My whole system was immediately filled with annoyance. I will never allow her to get an annulment! For what? So she can be with that Dustin? No fucking way!
