Chapter Fifty-two

"Doc. Why does it take so long for my Mister to wake up? He's been asleep for two weeks! I won't allow him to sleep for one hundred years like Sleeping Beauty! Why! I've kissed him on the lips several times but he hasn't woken up yet. What about our baby? He will see his Daddy but he won't be able to talk to him! No! I don't want that to happen!" I bit my bottom lip inward to stop my laughter.
But immediately my heart beat faster when I heard that he said it was our son. So, she's pregnant? I got her pregnant?! Damn it! Fuck! Thank God! Joanna and I are having a baby! D amn it Joanna! You just made me the happiest man on this f ucking world. I was about to wake up when the Doctor spoke again.
"Mrs. Montemayor like I said, he lost quite a lot of blood so Mr. Montemayor needs a long rest but rest a sure that he will wake up too. Just wait."
I didn't hear any answer from Joanna but I heard her sigh one after another until the Doctor said goodbye but he still didn't answer. He held his hand if there was no IV and then he gently squeezed it and then kissed it.
I was still conscious last night but Joanna wasn't there when I woke up, the Doctor said to just go home for a while. I nodded to his answer, I like it I was hoping to ask if Joanna was okay but I was still so weak that I couldn't even speak simply.
He immediately chinecked me up and told me that I was fine and that I could go home the next day. I only nodded when I answered him until he asked me if I was going to call Joanna.
I shook my head one after another. I immediately saw the surprise on his face. I gathered all my strength and using a low voice, I told him what I wanted if it happened. I just want to know if Joanna is worried about me, if she's angry because she still feels sorry for me and Lenita. At first the doctor didn't seem to agree with me until he just sighed and nodded.
"Justin, one! I'm sick of it! You've been asleep for two weeks! Oh I know, you are rich! You have a lot to pay for your hospital bill!" And then he gently let go of my hand.
"But I told you if you don't wake up now, I'll have Dustin help us get our annulment papers!" My eyes immediately widened at what he said and I suddenly stood up from lying down. My body looked shocked because I was immediately overcome with pain.
"Justin!"
"Fuck ouch!"
"Why are you getting up all of a sudden?" He asked me worriedly and then he put a pillow behind me, and helped me sit down slowly then he leaned my back on the first place he placed it. When I turned my gaze to him, he looked at me very badly. I bit my lower lip.
"You're really crazy!" And then he was about to hit me on the shoulder.
"Oops. Don't wife!" Before my wound bleeds again. It's going to hurt.
"Urgh! Thank you very much and you are my wound! But I will really hit you!" He told me and then sat down on the chair next to my bed. I was immediately worried about what he did.
"Careful wife, our baby and you might get hurt." I said to him and when I was about to touch him he took my hand.
"Now you're really worried about us! When Lenita cemented me, you acted slowly!" He complained to me. I immediately looked down.
"I'm sorry" I said softly to him but after a few minutes I still haven't heard an answer from him so I looked at him again. He was seen bending down while biting his lower lip. I can't move a lot because my wound might bleed and then I'm still weak.
So I held her chin and then gradually lifted her face. Immediately our eyes met, so I could clearly see his eyes with tears and his cheeks wet with tears.
"Wife –" Before I could finish what I was saying. He loosened my grip on his chin and then he spoke.
"You look like a man! I can really pinch you! You flirt so much! There are so many girls, you even flirted with Lenita! Another one of the your best friend! You big people are b itch-b itch! You were left all of a sudden and on the very first day of our married life! I was still excited to make you breakfast that morning but you suddenly left! Justin, I've been waiting for you! I thought you'd come home for lunch, but you haven't even had dinner yet, I'm waiting for you! I've been calling you but you're not answering! You know I don't know how to cook but I still tried! Because I want to do my wifely duties yours but you didn't let me! You suddenly disappeared."
I was about to explain when he suddenly crossed the distance between our faces and then he kissed me. Then next thing I knew she was kissing me passionately. I can't help but to smile and answered back on her kisses. We both just pulled away from each other as we ran out of breath.
"Enough with this drama." He said to me while our foreheads were touching. "I just want to know one thing." He frowned I frowned at what he said and then waited for his question.
"Do you..." He stopped asking me and then loosened the contact between our foreheads and sighed and met my gaze.
"Do you still love me Justin?" He asked me weakly at the same time that his tears were falling again.
"Joanna—"
"Just answer me!" I touched both of his cheeks and then gave him a quick kiss on the lips and then answered his question.
"Yes. Yes, I still love you Joanna. I love you so d amn much Joanna Cruz-Montemayor." He immediately hugged me very tightly around the neck and then covered my face with kisses. I just smiled and ignored the pain in my shoulder.
"I love you too. I love you too Justin." Later he said to me.
"Please let's start over again." / "Let's start over again." We said it together, so we just laughed.
3 weeks later...
"Why are we going to Justin?"
"It just is." I answered him and then focused on driving again, since the light was red.
"Tell me, I'm bored sitting here."
"Why don't you take a nap first?" I answered him and he just yawned. I just laughed but immediately stopped because he glared at me.
"You've been traveling for quite a long time." I'll add more. I wanted to surprise her, the other day I asked my new secretary, Beauty to contact Joanna's mom. At first he didn't agree to meet me since the only person he talked to was Beauty,

So I did really intense coconvincing just to force Joanna not to take me to dinner anymore.
In the end I did get her to agree but my sullenness in her voice that's why I told her that I'll make it up to her the next day, and that's the only reason I was satisfied because the happy tone of her voice came back again. So I went to La Union to visit his Mama. It was afternoon when I arrived at their house as I told him.
"Good afternoon." It was polite to greet Joanna's mom and she smiled a little and then let me into their house and it was just such a surprise I saw if there was a man my age in their living room. I had a bit of a clue that he was Joanna's Daddy because they looked alike, but I was too shy to ask until Joanna's Mom voluntarily introduced him to us.
"I got pregnant when I was sixteen. I thought everything would be okay because Santi was like that." Joanna's Dad. Joanna's Mom held her arm and then continued to tell the story.
