We didn't stay in the car for long, he even hid behind me when we entered the yard of their house. Immediately the main door of their house opened and his Mom and Dad greeted us.
"Joanna, child?" His mom even called him. He slowly peeked out from behind me. Her mom immediately came to us and then she hugged Joanna. He was so shocked by what his Mom did that he didn't immediately hug his Mom back. It looks like he hasn't recovered yet when his Dad also comes and hugs the mother and daughter.
"P-dad?" He called his Father in disbelief.
"Joanna, child." His Papa called him crying and then the three of them shared a family hug and all I did was watch them while smiling. When Joanna and I met our eyes, she mouthed thank you to me and I answered her I love you.
After Joanna's family moments, we entered their house and she was even more surprised to see Mommy, Daddy and Grandma. He immediately hugged me and whispered questions.

But instead of answering her, I guide her to sit with me on the sofa in their little living room, my family is sitting in front of us, while her Mom and Dad are on the side. When we all settled down after Joanna's Mom put the mirenda on the table in front of us. I took a deep breath and then I folded our hands and looked at him directly in his eyes.
"My family is here with us right now because Joanna, Wife, I want us to settle down for real, I mean... with your parents and my parents' consent." And then I scratched the back of my neck but I immediately continued what I was saying because they were all focused to me, to what I will say.
"I know we're old enough to make our own decision and I guess it was really late but it's better to be late than never, correct?" Lola, Mommy, Daddy as well as his parents laughed. While he just smiled and looked shy. That's why I kissed him quickly on the forehead.
"We're here because my family and I will love your family and you." And then I loosened my grip on his hand and took out a small golden box from my pocket and knelt in front of him.
"It's Justin!" He looked at me weakly and then tried to make me stand up but I didn't follow him.
"Joanna Cruz-Montemayor, since we're starting over again I want to do things properly this time. No rush and just go with the flow." I opened the little box and offered her a diamond ring.

"Whatever but seriously, Joanna, wife this time I don't want you to be a secret, I don't want you as the CEO's secret wife. I want everyone to know that you are my wife.
