Chapter Twenty-nine

It's a good thing that Justin pretended that we should follow him to the resort because otherwise I would really strangle him. That's why we're on the way now, he told me that it's almost a four hour drive to the resort from here in the city.
I can't text Dustin that we'll be next because no matter how much I try to get Justin to give me my phone back, he'll interrupt me, he'll answer me with a firm 'no'.
That's why I kept myself busy looking at the sights we were passing by until I got bored so I just fell asleep. Justin and I will have lunch when we arrive at the resort. We were immediately greeted by the hotel staff.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Montemayor." The woman said I think you are in your forties. Justin nodded to him. "I am Abigail Sarmento the hotel manager." And then he reached out his hand to Justin. I reached for it Justin.
I didn't know where I was going to go so I would have simply gone behind Justin but I bit my lower lip as Justin's grip on my hand tightened even more when he was holding me.
I tried to get away from our holding hands but I couldn't help it. Until he pulled me to his side, he let go of our holding hands and I was about to exist in the scene when Justin hugged his hand around his waist I did not see the look of Mrs. Sarmento. And that's how surprised I was when Justin introduced me.
"This is Joanna Montemayor, my wi –" What Justin was going to say was hanging in the air when I suddenly called his name from behind us. We turned around at the same time and my heart beat so fast when I recognized who called Justin. Lenita.
He was carrying a suitcase and a sling bag. He left that his suitcase at my entrance and then he walked up to Justin and me. Justin's gradual release from his closeness to my waist did not escape me. Immediately the pain enveloped not only my heart but my whole body. My shoulders slumped and then I sighed sadly.
I also stepped away completely when Lenita approached us. I could clearly see how he would give me a bad look from head to toe and beyond he kissed Justin's lips. Aknog immediately looked away. I also feel weak from what I see.
Lenita took Justin's hand and then limply intertwined it. When I turned to Manager Sarmento, he was smiling at Justin and Lenita and then said –
"You are something Ma'am, Mr. Montemayor." Lenita smiled at him very sweetly and then quickly glanced at me and said –
"Thank you Mrs –" What he was going to say was still hanging in the air because he didn't seem to know who he was talking to. Manager Sarmento immediately introduced himself and extended his hand to Lenita, but before he could reach it so that they could shake hands, he hugged her.
"My name is Leni. Lenita San Jose. I am Justin's girlfriend." He really emphasized the word 'girlfriend' while looking straight into my eyes. I bit my lower lip and I can't know what to do until my group enters the reception area.
They were laughing and looked like they had just come from outdoor deliveries because the rest of them were still wet and I was wearing a bikini. It's Dustin!
Without a second thought, I approached them and then called Dustin before they finally entered the elevator. I bit the bottom one I told them all to look at us. Justin's eyes widened and then he smiled at me and came closer to me.
"Joanna!" Alangangan made me smile at him as we got closer. He was only wearing beach shorts, then slippers and his exposed abs did not escape my eyes. My cheeks turned red when he tasted it! Wow! I hope he doesn't think I'm draining him! I didn't mean to look at it.
"I thought you couldn't be with me anymore! It's good that you obeyed. Why didn't you reply to my messages earlier?" He asked in surprise. My phone is still Justin's! How can I get that now that he and Lenita are together? I don't want trouble!
"Uhhh! W-I don't have a load!" I answered him and to change the topic I looked at his companions. Others are talking to each other, while others are looking at pictures on the camera.
"It's our workmates!" Dustin told me and then he took my hand and pulled me towards his friends. I don't know them and they are even more unfamiliar to me, because I just saw them now and I don't go to their area. I kept smiling awkwardly at them.
"Uhh... Guys, it's Joanna. Mr. Montemayor's new secretary." The others nodded at me and said 'nice to meet you' and then we shook hands.
"The CEO's new secretary is beautiful! I wish you were in our department so I could see you all the time!" Basty told me, who looked like a woman in the group. I didn't know how to react so we just smiled shyly.
"Joanna." A cold and serious voice silenced us. I don't even need to look down because I know whose voice it is. To Justin. The two girls were complaining Dustin was with him, but he was listening.
"Mr. Montemayor."
"And Miss Leni was with him."
"His girlfriend." The woman he was talking to nodded. I was able to hold my hands, so they are legal and all his employees know them as lovers. Wow! Their relationship goals are embarrassing. I turned around and saw Justin and Lenita in front of me.
Lenita looked at me very badly while Justin had a blank expression on his face and eyes. You can also feel his cold aura as if he wants to kill someone any time from now.
"It turns out that we are a good thing." Add one more. I don't know why but I suddenly want to curse at these times. Shout out to those people that Lenita is just a hookup, because hello! Justin's Wifey is here too! In front of you all!
But of course I can't do that, I'm weak.
"S-Sir, thank you for letting me go with you, I'm going with Dustin." And then I turned to Dustin. I did everything to give him a real smile even though I was very upset at the time, because Justin didn't even remove Lenita's hand that was kissing his arm. Then earlier, I made him keep saying 'he's only mine', he's a liar!
I couldn't wait for Justin to answer, face He also has no intention of paying attention to me. Because Lenita is already here. Also, did I think that bouncer was still in France? For fashion churva? Why is it suddenly here?
I didn't look at them anymore and just pulled Dustin into the elevator. His companions didn't follow and just said that they were going back to the pool area to have lunch, Dustin nodded and said he would follow. He pushed the fourth floor and then looked at me, when he started to move elevator. He frowned and seemed surprised.
"Are you okay?" Justin asked me. I nodded but he frowned even more.
"Why?" I asked him. If only he could stare at my face.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked me more.
"Yes, and then why are you looking at me like that? You're weird." I answered him. He sighed and then he slowly came closer to me, which scared me.
"It's okay? Why are you crying?" He asked me again and then he wiped my left cheek. I rubbed my right cheek and it was wet. I didn't even know I was crying!
"That's why Mr. Montemayor couldn't take his eyes off of you earlier, because you were crying. He was even going to follow us inside the elevator, but Miss Leni stopped him. What's going on with you?" Dustin asked me in surprise. I bit my lower lip and then I shook his head and bowed.
Why am I crying? What am I crying for? The fact that I'm just Justin's secret wife? It's because I have a sore throat! Everyone knows Lenita as his girlfriend, then everyone knows me as his employee, as his secretary?! S hit! It hurts to be just a secret!
