Chapter 16- Lilliana's Story

Gracie POV

*“Lilliana is that you?” I asked her.*

*“It is Grace.” Lilliana seemed so sad as she spoke. I was afraid she wouldn’t tell me more but just as I was about to ask I heard a noise in the scene before me. I turned my attention to what was happening in front of me.*

*“Lilliana I hear them coming.” The man said. He was very handsome in a ruggish way but considering he had been a wolf a few moments ago that made sense. *

*“I hear them as well. Let them come.” I heard the defeat in her tone but there was also an inner strength as if she would refuse to let go of her love for anyone.*

*“But Lilliana, what will they do?” The man again looked her in the eyes, pleading for her to save herself.*

*“I do not know, but we will fight if that is what they wish. And if not, they will get their due when I return.” Lilliana said this with such defiance it made me wonder what on earth could be coming. *

*Just then a rustle was heard in the bushes. In a matter of moments 5 people appeared in front of them. Each of them wearing long black robes that hid their face. One of them stepped forward, “Lilliana you have disgraced us. You can not serve as the Moon Goddess when you have disgraced us by loving this wolf!”*

*“I am the Moon Goddess. You all are mere witches. There is nothing special about you that the moon doesn’t give you power for.”*

*“We have called on the power of the darkest parts of the earth.” The robed man called back to her.*

*“Then you have become the disgraced one.” Lilliana standing firm repeated. *

*“We shall see about that!” The man yelled. *

*Suddenly the scene changed once again, and they were in the same rocky forest but now Lilliana was sobbing over the man. She stood up standing sideways and I could tell that her stomach was round with pregnancy. *

*“Oh Darling, I am so sorry!” She let out a sob again. “I promise you, one day I will return, and I will bring justice for you. I will be just as you are, someday the Golden Wolf, will take those Dark Witches off the earth and destroy them. Peace will be among everyone!” *

*I felt Clay put his hand on the small of my back. I had been so involved in the dream and watching as it unfolded before my eyes I had forgotten he was beside me. I looked him in the eyes and kissed his lips*.

“Hey” I said to him opening my eyes as I knew we had now woken up out of the dream that Lilliana took us to.

“Hey there beautiful. That was quite a dream you had.” Clay laughed.

“What does it mean?” I felt as if I already knew the answer but needed someone to verbalize it.

“Well, we just say the legend be told. And it seems as though you are a descendent of the Moon Goddess and that your wolf is the moon goddess herself.” Clay summed up my thoughts. I was unsure of what to say. I knew I needed to talk to Lilliana, I still was not use to her being in my head.

“I think I have some questions for Lilliana.” I said back to him.

“I think you do. Meanwhile, I will just lay here and enjoy your naked body next to me.”

I giggled at him and snuggled in close to him.

**"I know Grace, you need to speak to me. I wanted you both to see the truth of what you will be fighting for. He was the love of my life. His name was Daniel. He was sweet and gentle and kind. He use to talk to me late into the evenings. We fell in love and had a daughter. Through her all my descendants first-borns have been girls. Through them I have been able to live on. This is the first time I have been able to come back as a wolf. Which means you are the chosen one. The Chosen Golden Wolf.” **

**“Wow. That is a lot. So are you the moon goddess?”**

**“In a way I am. I have chosen to allow part of myself to become a wolf and live on through the years but a part of me still watches over the moon and all the creatures of the night.” **

**“Does this mean that you know exactly what we need to do to bring about peace?” I asked her. I was hopeful that now we would have exact directions instead of just legend. **

**“I created the prophecy; however, I am not the master of how that plays out. Nature is. We will have to follow the clues that lead us around the supernatural world. I know the journey will not be easy and that you will face some challenges that you had never expected. I am thankful that you found your mate, he will be able to help you along on this journey.**”

**“I can not imagine how you felt losing your love like that!**”

**“It was not easy Grace. However, I will make sure the same does not happen to you.**”

**“Thank you, Lilliana for showing both Clay and I that. We needed to see it.**”

**“I know you did child.”**

With that I opened my eyes and refocused on the man holding me tight. “That was my wolf. She is the moon goddess. Well part of the moon goddess. No she does not know how to help us. She created the prophecy, but nature provides the way.” I wanted to make sure I answered all of Clay’s questions before he could ask them.

“Well, that is certainly a boat load of information.” Clay said digesting all that I just told him.

“Today we need to look at the Alpha books in detail and see what all it says. Hopefully it will lead us to our first clue.”

“You don’t think we should start with the dragons?” I asked. All of this still very new to me.

“We can if we must, but we will need to train first. Also, Dragons are not an easy species to deal with, so we will need to study up on the information we know about them.”

“So our goal for today is to research!” I looked at him with excitement. He looked bored already.

“And train.” He laughed as he kissed my nose.

“Train?” I questioned back.

“Grace, you just got your wolf. We are about to go into a battle for our lives and the lives of all supernatural creatures. We will need to get you strong and able to control your wolf in a fight. Train.” Clay made it sound so simple and so daunting all at the same time. I was even more thankful for my martial art classes as a child.
Except, I never fought as a wolf. That would be all new.

“Okay but research first!” I kissed him back on his nose.

“Fine, but really I need to taste you again!” And with that Clay disappeared under the covers and my heart began racing as I moaned in pleasure.
